Many, many years ago, when the sun was dim and the world was new, Churro's forebears left their ancestral home and travelled for years over the tempestuous seas. Finally making landfall, they found themselves in the Americas, landing South of The Border, down Mexico way.

Although welcomed to the area, there was a problem that their family name was almost unpronouncable by the locals. Their aristocratic past was therefore lost in the mists of time as, so family tradition says, they adopted a local translation, Churro, which saved much awkwardness and embarrassment.

Now to the present. Mr Churros, tired of his quiet life with the cacti, gathered his inheritance and set sail without a compass. Landing on an open and pleasant land, he found himself in the World of Armageddon where he now plans to start a small pomegranite farm, grow some daffodils (and maybe tulips) and raise a few cows.

He looks forward to a good and peaceful life........

At 2012 hrs on the day OOP, Mr Jelly received news of a vicious, unprovoked, attack on one of his poor scouts that was out admiring the scenery in far-off lands:

Cushion lost a battle against People of Evans from Mr. Evans. We lost 1 Hobgoblins, 0 Rockthrowers, 0 Warlords, 0 Mages and 0 Berserkers and 0 peasants in the battle and 0 of our soldiers got injured.

Horrified by such senseless brutality, and at the insistence of Mrs Cushion (the poor, grieving widow), war was inevitable.

For the rest of the era, the Daffodils ate Dorians. Simples.
