sorry that i'm not blind to the fact that what was posted here was clearly a few people in Fate picking and choosing who they want to win the era from their own kingdom and clearly trying to prevent others from taking towns.

you can color it anyway you want to TBL and you can flame me all you want to but the fact still remains the same- everyone in a kingdom that is winning deserves a chance to win the era - everyone knows that its not always the person who is most deserving that always wins.  But to blantely tell your own kd mates do not take any more towns etc because you want one specific player to win is a low blow- and regardless of what is being said about Freddy or what issues they had with him those posts pretty much say it all

now i am so tired of you jumping on me everytime i post anything TBL you think you keep jumping its going to run me off? get over yourself already

I didnt comment on why he was or wasnt removed the conversation clearly shows you guys saying that your own kds mates are trying for the top spot and it was pissing you off because you wanted yarlin to win-- he himself said he was told to not take towns-  now is he lying? then say he's lying but why bash me for it i didnt cause the situation lol

you guys want him to win it's clear- i personally like the guy and wished him luck but you guys have some big ego issues and not accepting the reality that you're pretty greedy and controlling your damn self- like i said a win for the kingdom is a win for the kingdom that convo that was posted unless it was edited falsely shows that you guys clearly were going out of your way to make sure it was him and not someone else in your kingdom- now if me saying that deserves the flames then please continue..

i do think its funny that the most succesful kingdom this era has had 3 deserters... i wonder why this is? only silly people with small dicks would think that Fate was the problem.. that would just be silly.. i mean telling people to move aside and let another member take everything couldent possibly be the truth thats blasphemy! It would be Crazy to say that they purposefully kept nap partners out so that Yarlin could get more cities.. that would just be crazy talk..

Yeah Quiet One, you were not blind - as a matter of fact, after only 3 posts in the thread (two from Freddy himself, and one from a non Fantasia player), you were so confident of your read on the situation (without the benefit of any Fate leader providing their version of the matter) to be able to make the following comment:

that isnt complaining because he was taking towns from other people in the kd deserving of cities- that clearly indicates a different situation- now sorry if i dont buy it clearly there's more to it than what you're saying and sure you dont have to tell the world about your internal issues but dont get all pissed off because of the way it appears after all that is the way it appears....and based on some other comments in this thread this doesnt seem to be the only tatic that was used to make sure of the win.

That clearly indicates Carina's opinion. She and Yarlin went neck to neck a few eras ago and she just won. Since that time she has been hoping for him to win one because as we all know he is more than capable and deserving of doing so. She made the 'call' very early on that he was the favourite to win the era and was backing him all the way. She was clearly complaining that if Freddy keeps taking cities at the rate he was then he would possibly over take Yarlin. As are most of us (the era is far from over by the way). I am sorry to say there is nothing more to it.

Has anyone seen Hot Fuzz? FATE reminds me of that film. Like an incestuous small village where if anyone thinks differently or messes up, they are killed. I think it's low, low as can be. Nobody "owns" the era win, just because he was a possible threat by actually doing an attackers job, you started bitching about him? Yeah, it may not be the cause of him being kicked, but still bitching about him? Then expecting him not to be pissed?

Suprise suprise, Deno rides up on his white horse to try and defend FATEs honour! I wouldn't be suprised if you're still up to your warbook was of mass multi'ing, just to win.  Not that I know much of that game - apart from a large majority (not all) of the people who migrated to this game, are cunts - apart from what people have told me. It says something about your character doesn't it?

Don't think yourself as appointed spokesman for FATE as you have no idea what you are talking about. But let me explain for you're brain-dead self.

An attackers role, is (yeah) to break blockers. However, what happens after that? Do you just sit there? No, if you cannot break the blocker, anyone with brains would try to bypass it and take the enemy mines, to ruin their econ.
What would you do, sit outside? Twiddle with your balls, while calling anyone taking stuff names? Says something about you're character too. Or maybe it's just the warbook mentality.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I hear Von Darkmoor was prepping a blocker with low odds, it got CWed and Freddy walked through, Darkmoor stayed. Then Freddy took mines and some of you're members started shitting themselves about Yarlin possibly losing.

What we need is a return to the old days of VU. Where the likes of DB ruled with a hard but fair approach.

No defeats.
No inter-KD squabbling.
No kicking and feeding.
No flaming.

Hehe, this is why letting your enemy determine who gets what city leads to trouble.  He isn't trying to do Fate any favors, he was looking to screw you over, so why listen to them?

I've no real opinion about who is right or wrong in this fate vs freddy thing because I'm not even on the map and all I've heard and read on the forums is biased secondhand information.  But word of advice to everyone, when your enemy is trying to feed cities to specific people, they usually don't have your best interests in mind.

Incidentally, I am not a long-term Veteran of FATE, but the idea to allow the smaller/weaker members of the Kingdom to take cities for themselves has been consistent within FATE for as long as I have been in it.

The weaker players are coached into taking on a more important role, and they have a more enjoyable VU experience when the Veterans willingly step to the side and wait for their other members to catch up with them.

This is what REALLY happens inside of FATE.

I will try to be brief on the subject :P

The main cause of the trouble started when HM had a blocker full of troops (Ovech) and Freddy was prepping, he requested a CW which at a high cost Ademo supplied. Freddy then walked through the blocker but kept going, I was not in the area at the time, my army was 23 tic's out at the time. Freddy pm'd me at this point asking me to move up and protect his armoury while he went for a couple of large cities in the area, his explanation being that he was trying to tempt them out. They didnt take the bait so we still had a blocker full of enemies with a couple of decent armies in it which we couldnt leave behind. Freddy then proceeded to make his way south and captured countless resource cities whilst the rest defended against the blocker full of troops. This at first annoyed people as several of us had troops held back or else we risked leaving our core wide open.

Eventually HM did break north at our core as we suspected they would, luckily we managed to track back, hold them and then kill/bounce them away b4 they did any damage. While several of us resolved this situation Freddy continued south taking the majority of their resource cities. At this point he was asked to leave some spoils for others (NOT Yarlin, others fighting HM).

Other things that lead up to his being kicked included the fact that he was applying to other KD's, the fact he used BT's to beat his own KD mates to cities, the fact that he jumped on others cities and didnt return them or let his KD mates reclaim them. He never had any intention of staying and being part of the KD and just played VERY selfishly.

Alot of players in FATE have been together since era 18/19 not quite sure, but we are more than just KD mates as alot of us are friends (we even send Xmas cards round the world to each other lol). What i am trying to say is that we welcome new members to our KD but they need to show loyalty, teamplay and keep the game fun.

Freddy unfortunately did none of this and in fact had several of our long serving members so annoyed that they were considering leaving and the KD's loyalty is with them. Some may not think what he did was terrible and no single incident was, I have no major gripes with him, but add it all up and he was not a KD player. We have kept going so long due to our loyalty to each other and having someone new who was playing purely for himself and then poaching off others is not what we want.

So with the knowledge that he had already applied to other KD's and the poaching/greed (he admitted going for score), the decision was taken to remove him. We did what was best for our KD as we always try to do and what others think is up to them.
