This era, i think albatross could have held their ground if they kept sufficient forces at two locations in the north, and sufficient forces at what? one blocker in the south vs mad? With over 10 players in albatross I can only imagine 4 blockers shouldn't have been that much of a challenge to hold. 

Last era we spawned right next to Mad, who started making threats right away. And on the other side was Aby (Binh and BL that were farming)
Alba is quite slow at oop, I think that is our biggest flaw, the kingdom has lots of people that require a lot of time to get something ready right at oop time, me included.

We did fight Bling and maybe 2 more members of Mad, so some of us were fighting and most were building up for later wars. My mistake last era is that I had too many people defending against possible Abydos attack that never came. But thing is we never saw BL sending anything east, so we assumed some of their members are defending or preparing for attack. I already stated that was a mistake, because then we did not have enough people against Mad, which lead to stalemate which lead to Abydos having an easy win with all the spoils.

For the era Tor is mentioning, its quite funny to mention blockers in this game, when we all know blockers do not work in this game, at least 70% of them. We shared core with Abydos, so two north blockers statement has nothing to do with anything, and we were fighting DR right away that took half of our members as well.

Also one south blocker against Mad is not possible, cause even the four blockers you guys placed are not blocking, so one and four are not the same. But mentioning blockers in this game is just silly.

Alba's position has always been disadvantageous from the start. they are stuck between MAD and DR and Abydos Core. Good move allying with DR and attacking Abydos OOP. however they failed to eliminate them.

I can beat Aby oop with near any race. Aby doesnt know how to OOP. Never have. They will always hide behind another kd so they can farm troops. Not a single one of them has any oop skills.

Im useful every era. See I got Bogdan chasing me aimlessly for a week and a half now while the rest of mad wrecks other cores, collective were active that era, and yeah.. u guys suck badly

It's a strategic tactic. If you don't want somebody to river jump than don't build to close to a river.

For future reference, you cant river jump a city if their gates are open. Closing the gates allows the attack to happen

No, it is seen as a dishonourable tactic and I know of a few players kicked from kd's for using it when most kd's agreed not to

You can attack a city with closed gates across a river. A new player wouldnt know not to close gates. That in itself is a breach of what most kd's agreed on, and players got kicked from kingdoms for bringing dishonour to their kingdom because of it. Xerxes targeted a noob that we left alone all era, who had gates closed. Now its up to Chade to decide to kick him for bringing his kd down to my levels. Know this Xerxes... I am targeting you and you alone next era. 6 players are doing the same.
