Have some common sense Wilberforce.... those guys you are attacking in your crater now are former Graves.... if they were really hostile with you from the start, they would have killed your rebuilders down there immediately when they dropped even a single city there.... The understandings your leadership reached with these guys was what allowed your kingdom to rebuild in that crater...... Under circumstances like this, even if they have switched kingdoms, even if a kingdomate of theirs in a different crater had cast a spell on you, your kingdom should have talked to them first and at least understand what is the position the former Graves members have vis-a-vis your kingdom.....
This lack of common sense and ethics is shocking and dreadful. I bet the folks you are attacking now will wish they had killed you guys off from the very beginning. Well, for me, what you have done is a good thing anyway - it will add one more kingdom to the bunch of folks who are out to kill you now, and it has exposed your true colours. And the best thing.... you brought it all on yourself and your kingdom.
Ultimately, let this be a lesson to all other kingdoms out there. Let FW rebuild near you at your peril.

Bogdan was owning the crater earlier but he can't be every where at once, lost a few cities because of this. Blue has been inactive. Devi was told to go halfer and not his preferred and best race (Orc) Elsin went mage and with the limited amount of players vs many players he didn't stand a chance. Binh was inactive for a little bit as well, missed out on an open window because of this.
Wilber is still a better player then most, even if you think he is the scum of VU (Which many actually believe you are)

FW naps Graves....within 5 ticks of that nap, Graves becomes Sandstorm. That automatically nulls any relations with Graves. Kinda hard to have a nap with a KD that isnt a kd.

I asked Buck (via Skype chat) about 2 days ago whether his kingdom was at war with FW.... I wanted to know the situation in the south-eastern crater then.
He told me that his old kingdom Graves, had a peace agreement with FW. However, recently they (the Graves) had merged into Sandstorms. He was unsure of the status of relations at that point in time.
You know what I advised him? I told him that while I would have loved for him and his crew to start kicking FW ass right then, ethically and responsibly, the peace agreement that he and his ex-Grave kingdomates had made should continue to apply on with FW (only as far as him and ex Grave kingdom members were concerned... original Sandstorm members and FW would continue to assume a status of no agreement and were free to go at one another if they wished) until both mutually confirm the status of their relationship otherwise.
Imagine that! I advised him to continue to maintain the peace agreement he and his ex Grave kingdomates had with FW! Fucking stupid on my part eh.... I gave bad advice.
Bet some FW folks didn't see that coming from me eh, *chuckle*
No wonder I am a born loser.... :(

Elsin, I have seen such situations before, actively negotiated such situations before, and been approached with and accepted such situations before.
There are a few very simple reasons why it should be assumed that the NAP still applies until confirmed otherwise.
1. Just like if an enemy player or kingdom you are at war with joins or merges with a kingdom that you are NAPped with doesn't mean he / she or the kingdom is automatically brought under the NAP's protective umbrella, the same thing applies vice versa to a NAP wherein just because a player or kingdom you are NAPped with joins or merges with a kingdom you are not NAPped, it doesn't mean that you do not have the protective umbrella of the previous NAP agreement where those players are concerned.
2. Another key basis for this assumption is this simple notion: It prevents kingdoms or players from finding an excuse to NAP breach against your kingdom by disbanding their kingdom and joining another one or reforming under another banner.
This code or principle is especially important to protect smaller and weaker kingdoms. If a once NAPped partner decides that he / she / it doesn't want to be NAPped with you anymore, then, following your proposal, it can merge with another kingdom (heck, it can probably even merge with a small kingdom or even a one man kingdom too under your proposal) to instantly void the NAP agreement it previously had with the smaller / more vulnerable kingdom. While it may be legitimate, this is actually a despicable way of going about things. If you want your kingdom to be associated with the description "despicable", be my guest.
3. This principle / code is also important in kingdoms that are core sharing - it prevents (to a certain extent) players from a NAPped kingdom who are sharing your core from defecting to an enemy kingdom, and then emerging out and destroying the undefended parts of your core. Imagine if a small kingdom of 5 players had landed together in the same core of your kingdom of 20 players. Both of you NAP, and your kingdom leaves your core undefended on the assumption that that small kingdom is bound by peace to your kingdom. That small kingdom decides to merge with an enemy. Next thing you know.... kaboom. Bye bye core, LOL! I assume your kingdom's bitch, Wilberforce will be in full force out in the forums whining and bitching about such a situation if it happens :D
4. This is why communication and clarification is vital. This blame can probably be shared between both sides (the former Graves players and your kingdom). Your kingdom should have had, at the very least, contacted the former Graves leadership and confirmed what is the official situation between your kingdom and them and / or their new kingdom after they (ex Graves) had merged into Sandstorms. The onus is actually on you guys, since you are the bigger, more established, and more reputable kingdom in this map and game. Nonetheless, no effort was made, and wrong assumptions occured on both sides: the ex-Graves thought they were still at peace with FW, and FW thought they had no more NAP or Peace agreement with the ex-Graves.
Do you understand my point of view right now? LOL! There is absolutely nothing wrong with NAPping only half a kingdom or even only one player in a kingdom, depending on the circumstances and the situation at hand. You just have to make sure that everything is clearly and properly communicated :)
Thus, a lack of effort on the part of your kingdom's leadership to clarify the situation proper brought about this episode of public humiliation to you guys. Let me repeat again... you guys brought it on on yourselves :)
But for me, this situation doesn't really bother me in the least :P At least, the way your kingdom treats NAP / tricky diplomatic situations is now exposed to more VU folks, and they will ponder a lot more before making any relations with your kingdom :) And, at the very least, you guys have made yourselves one more enemy anyway, LOL!

Needless to say that when you have a nap with another kingdom and then your kingdom merges into another third party kingdom that doesn't have any relations with your former kingdoms nap partner, it's your fault for not opening relations again. FW did what I expected any other kingdom to do and that is forget the nap with graves which no longer existed and play according to the current relations with sandstorms.

4. This is why communication and clarification is vital. This blame can probably be shared between both sides (the former Graves players and your kingdom). Your kingdom should have had, at the very least, contacted the former Graves leadership and confirmed what is the official situation between your kingdom and them and / or their new kingdom after they (ex Graves) had merged into Sandstorms. The onus is actually on you guys, since you are the bigger, more established, and more reputable kingdom in this map and game. Nonetheless, no effort was made, and wrong assumptions occured on both sides: the ex-Graves thought they were still at peace with FW, and FW thought they had no more NAP or Peace agreement with the ex-Graves.
Graves NAP'ed FW. Graves vanished. So did the NAP for obvious reasons. Your making irrelevant assumptions.

I do generally ignore the TBL/Wilber side show, but you decided to expand your war on wilber to include FW so I decided to post.
