There was a multi sweep two weeks ago, I got banned because I was playing on the same IP as a friend. Maybe they just didn't care enough to petition to Zeta after being banned for the same thing, or they could just have gone inactive... You can't presume to know exactly what happened because of some coincidence. He was probably really frustrated that that happened and just closed the game, that's what I did when it happened to me lol...
