I haven't been in VU long, but I am still waiting for that one era when people will be like:

You did well slowing us down there, well done.

But no, here you can only see arguments, no compliments on gameplay or anything. In my opinion, we did quite well being two kingdoms just days ago, we are working quite well together, and Zond also did a good job by slowing us down, keeping us at bay at his city, their magic was good, keeping prep low, which took a lot of time, but in the end we won that battle.

Its just the beginning of the war. So lets show some respect and have fun this era.

thanks for that dark spawn i like seeing sportsmanship it's important for communities of gamers to have if they want new players to join them and stick imo.

i haven't done much in this game yet other than get spanked by veterans but i am learning quickly and look forward to finally one day turning the spanking around!

I'd have to say though that i believe the flaming and arguing on the forums has psychological effects that when properly employed are effective ways of feeding information you want your enemy to know into their ears.

Unfortunately we eneded up having 3 big kingdoms, where a 2 on 1 is a guaranteed loss to the loner. Especially as we have now time to peacefully farm up.

Let's have all suggestions, as this is not a good situation. pls all share your opinions. I think I will open this discussion in the politics thread as well with the other kingdoms.

Why don't we just say, those who want to fight Forsaken, can go fight them, and those who just want to do some farming can do that. That way not all of us are going over there to flood them with armies. :P

There's a difference of killing off everyone on the map since it was pointless to NAP, and knowingly creating a NAP alliance that contains more around 2/3rds of that map.

Then it would have been unfair on AG because we would have sandwiched them and they would be attacked from both sides and we would not really have fought each other untill they were dead. :P 3 big KDs is always unfair on one of them, even if no-one NAPs. :P We need one more big KD to join the world.

3 Big KD's with no NAP's is much more fair than 2/3rds of the map against 1. I mean, thats not really an acceptable excuse. Thats like taking a somewhat bad situation and tuning it into an even worse situation in the name of trying to fix the initial problem. AG came to us for Diplomacy first, we rejected cause we did not see a point of having 2/3rds of the map fighting against one.

But I see others were not as ' confident '

They asked us for a NAP and we acceped because we didn't want the situation that I described. Plus we had a bad start and were fighting Monks anyway. They are a new KD and obviously didn't want to have to take on 2 other big KDs. I know it's a crap situation for you, but it would have been a crap situation for them if we didn't accept their NAP. If they had of started somewhere else on the mak, not directly in between us, then things might be different. But it is the way it is. :P

To be fair. Originally Storm Cloaks were going to fight Atlantis. (We were both small kingdoms and were going to let the two large kingdoms fight while the two small kingdoms fought it out.

So the very first thing that happened was Stormcloaks asked for a NAP with forsaken, and im assuming AG did as well.
At this point I would like to point out, that we were not declined, we were ignored.

So AG and Stormcloaks combined, and as AG had sent diplomacy out to both large kingdoms, and Forsaken ignored while DD agreed. Thus an accidental 2v1 occurred rather than the original 1v1 and 1v1 that was intended.

i apoligize to you papur thick for ignoring your message there was a holiday in my country and i take both of the winter holidays out of town and had no way of messaging you by the time i got back the era was 2-3days in and you guys had merged your kds and had an army prepping our blocker so i assumed war best of luck to me and my boys though cause were apparently gonna need it against yall

Sirs, if you still have any better idea, how not to make it not a 1:2, go ahead! It will not be a complete 1:2 anyway, as many of us have decided to farm/experiment/etc instead of the war.

Still, of course FS will be the underdog at this point, but not to a 2:1 ratio at least.
