I have a serious problem with this kind of thinking. Are people really so weak that they just fall to pieces every time they are offended?

What ever happened to standing up for yourself instead of shutting someone else up? If some guy said something ignorant and irresponsible then fine; everyone who is offended should go ahead and make armies with names that attack him personally in some way. This is the only reasonable and fair response...not banning him and certainly not killing him and his family.

How could we live in a world when we make a law forbidding any talk of anything that offends others? People need to quit being a pack of wusses who fall apart every time they hear something they disagree with. Jewish people are just that, people; and people can damn well stand up for themselves without an army of others (for whom it is none of their business) standing up and demanding blood. Am I the only one here that noticed the only Jewish people in this thread said they didn't even care?

I hate to sound like I'm supporting hate because I'm not. My motivations for saying all this come from the knowledge that racism is better defined as "misunderstanding" than "hate" and from holding fair and equal treatment as imperative always. That is, if he says something you disagree with, then say something to disagree or be quiet; and if he goes out and hurts someone, then he deserves to be hurt. He didn't do the holocaust, someone else did, so punish him based on his crime.

You know in real life those jokes will just be made, no matter what laws or anything. That's something like not allowing the sun to set. I'm not sure btw- It's not forbidden to joke about the Holocaust right? It's just illegal in most countries to deny it took place right? So then again, if it was a joke, even a bad one, no measures by the admin should be made.

And yeah, freedom of speech is a paramount right far more important than anything raised in this thread. :)

The way I see it is this: in a public area then a person should be able to make whatever statements and opinions that they are prepared to defend. This isn't a public spot though as much as we think it is; it belongs to Zeta. If Zeta doesn't want that crap on his property then I totally respect that.

If some guy is standing on the street yelling hateful things though I'll either go and tell him why he's a fool if it's any of my business or just keep walking if it isn't. It doesn't hurt me to hear bad things about my heritage or beliefs, at worse I'm "offended" which is remarkably easy to get over. Again: let the punishment fit the crime whenever possible... he has hurt nobody, he has only used words, and has only offended people whom it is none of their damn business to be offended in the first place. Then respond by using your own words and be done with it. People may be impressionable but it isn't like he's gonna spark another holocaust by expressing himself.
