The Fate elves owe everything to the Fate trolls (and orcs, humans and dwarf) who warred OOP (yes surprise, surprise, we had an OOP war) and protected their damn elven butts long enough for them to reach the mass necessary for them to be able to make an impact. The way you are saying things right now shows you have no clue as to short term and long term strategic management. Even to this day, our trolls, orcs, humans, and lone dwarves (here and there) have a role to play and they still contribute and make an impact. You only need to know how to.

However, if you insist that the only way to ever play the game is by going elf, I suggest that your kingdom go all elf next era and then land next to us OOP. Let's see whether you can make us "run away" :)

Interesting that Sir BB thinks everyone has forgotten that No Pulse stayed where they were, safe and sound, despite having the opportunity to follow us during the protection phase.  If they really wanted a fair fight it was there waiting for them.

1.I never said the elves don´t owe the oop races, but after that its just ridiculous. I have never during my 18 eras seen one race being so dominating, and played by so many players.

2. You can own with any race if you get to farm for all your worth for 1/3 of an era or more. Atleast you could in the old days, dunno about now, things are so unbalanced that its just sick.

3. Back in the days when there where no crossworlds and 50% rule, a vet player from fant could go to worlds under zetamania and own the whole map single handedly. But that was no accievement so not that many did that, because only fant mattered really.

You are a bigger nub than I thought. Orcs were pretty damn dominant in their time (due to cheap nazzies) and was one of the most overused races (due to their simplicity to use) in their time. And if you have played 18 eras, then you played at the time when dwarves completely dominated the top rankings. In those days, if one didn't play dwarf, one had no chance of sniffing even top 20! Your observations are categorically a failure that reflects on the mental capacity of the observer himself.

Going on your angle of observation, that means, comparing an apple to an apple, Fate are superior farmers to Rebirth, who farmed away not less than half the era, but couldn't produce the quantity and quality of troops that Fate has. (Or maybe you are just such a sucky player, you get jealous of better players than you and see the need to whine about it).

That's why Rebirth will probably do smashingly well in a lower world, but will definitely struggle on Fantasia. I remember Rebirth in its first two eras.... it was a splendid war kingdom, full of potential. Sad to see all that potential wasted now.... That's not nescesarilly true, I've seen trolls and halfers and elves win when dwarves were the "dominant race"

although the top 20 always consisted of mostly dwarves, yes.

Why does so many dislike Fate? well i got a theorie.

I think most people can agree that Fate is big KD with some of the very best and active players in the game. They have done splendidly the last 4-5 eras (maybe more, havent payed that much attention to the history), and won a few.

I think people dislike them cause the way they win. I think people would like to see Fate take on many good KD's every era, and with honest brutal pawnage.
Instead they from time to time manage to do things that splits the whole VU comunity apart. Forcing people to think new on whats acceptable gameplay and whats not - honorable or not, if you like.

In my opinion, Fate is a great KD and they does what it takes to win. They manage to walk the fine line between whats honorable and whats not. I don't like it, but it looks to be working.

I'm not up for any debates, as i have grown tired of them. A good reminder of why, is the last ridiculus page of post where people simply just blowing of steam by insulting eachother and claiming their right instead of trying to compromise and finding things to agree on. All darkned by their love for their KD or hate for the oponent. (i suppose i aint any better, but i am trying)

1. Yes some races where strong back then too, but as lew(sugah) pointed out, never like elves are now. yes dwarves where always in the top rankings, but not strongest in military, a major difference. Now its elf in both rankings AND military, and thats where you fail to see the difference.

A troll won last era. A dwarf won the era before that.

2. Fate did more or less farm when the "fought" (ie steamrolled) the kds on valhalla, you can´t even compare fatre with kds from the lower worlds.
And you never even fought or soo rebirth fight/farm, so better draw your mouthzipper shut. Ask Dom/BoW/LH/RoC if they thought we farmed for "half the era".

NP "farmed" OOP last era. Saw no complaints. Other kingdoms NAPed their map. Saw no complaints.

I have fought Rebirth 2 times before. They lost both times. Badly. This might make it a 3rd time if the era could last long enough.

Dom / BoW / LH / RoC do think you guys farmed for half the era.

3. I can´t comment on rebirths past, but inactivity has caused some significant problems in the kd this era, wich sadly have affected our general performance.

4. I have never claimed that I am a very good player, but I can´t be that "sucky" either since many honorable and good kds have welcomed me into their ranks, ask those who have played with me what they think of me, I have never heard a bad word from any of them so far. You on the other hand seem have pumped up your ego among the the great players in Fate, so much that you have started drifting around in the clouds.

Every kingdom needs canon fodder. The guy who would help "weaken" the opposing armies so that the kingdom's strongest army can kill it off. You serve your role well for those honourable and good kingdoms :)

And finally, I love drifting in the clouds.... it is fun to look down on riff-raff like you :)
