I didn't say you had a lot, but you had some. Coming from the south(east). And then Valar coming from the north east.. We would've had a two front war and eventually lost.

We did see a bunch of armies coming out as soon as valar started pushing on us.

Our armies were in our cities trying to defend. So our armies were probably coming out once we solidified the relations with Valar.

I usually don´t keep my whole army inside an armory in the inner core while the enemy is knocking on the front door, but I guess thats personal preference?

Sitting inside a city doesn´t help much, pretty crappy leadership if the kd can´t divide its forces up and allocate players to were they are needed.

My point still stands, the situation would have been pretty even without that lame nap. Us and valar would have been forced to allocate a lot more forces against each other, and we only had 3 players fighting with zerg just inactively farming.

Hope next era doesn´t get ruined like this.

I agree, what gets me is 2 kds having to NAP to stop 3 players.. Thats what made me mad, that and how the UK sucks and has many racist people at the border agency who screwed me from logging in for 4+ days

i had 100k axers in nogrod, one of our front stations. 50k axers in underground. my cities were taken first and i walled and closed em with 20k cavers each. i lost another 50k axers in crosswind when it died and i took about 6 cities in the front. i got a late start and had to play catch up, but i held off that 200k AM army for at least a RL day.
i ended my life at over 300k axers. i was like the Chiwawa of the group but i put some bites in.
cant a mofo get a pat on the back once in a while? i mean come on, i aint gonna get any better with you always putting me down. just cause i'm pretty dont mean i aint got feelings.

But seriously, we have 3 strong armies there that killed sleepless and was fighting candlewax. Nothing more.. and tyr was split defending a blocker. We had tons of late starts.

And never claimed it was that made you drop the policy. We fully understand that this is your relaxed world and so on. But doesnt mean we dont like that you guys NAPed against us while we did a lot of fighting to your farming.. I mean imagine if you fought non stop only to have my kd come and NAP a kd and roll you over. Put our shoes on for a change.

Also, you have Endless (whos had countless flames with me), Chade (knows first hand i just annoy people for the pleasure as i laugh while thinking of what to type), TBL (who knows as well), plus others.. flame bait keeps my lonely forums alive. I cant help it if people cant tell a joke (i use faces for those, if no faces then its more serious unless the comment if obviously highly sarcastic) from me being serious.. its just a game to me.

On a serious note, the assertion that just because Zerg was just "inactively farming" does not mean any serious self-respecting kingdom should completely discount them for the rest of the era. Especially not with the names on their roster as well (well only one name anyway..... :P).

If anything, the fact that VZ and Zerg had a NAP / CF / Peace whatever made Valar's switch in strategy all the more pressing. At the time Valar established relations with Candlewax, VZ was bigger then Valar and Zerg was bigger then Candlewax. Add in all the 90Ks that Zerg was able to build, the massive magic city that Binh was building and the fact that Candlewax was completely not a factor in VZ's threat perceptions if Zondy could continuously use his MUs to EQ our cities. If one was in Valar's shoes, it is clear as hell that it would be extremely mind-bogglingly stupid (see all the superlatives I am using) to split our forces to fight Candlewax and not concentrate everything on fighting VZ and Zerg instead.

Threat perceptions are different from Valar's / Candlewax's and VZ's / Zerg's angles.

Aye yes they are. We havent denied that. Simply didnt agree with the nap you guys made. We CF Zerg (no clause, breakable at any time from either side without notice) just because they were to farm all era. And that was the only reason, well also they had fordius!

But i understand your side.. i mean we talked about it all era :P

I simply just wanted others to see our side as well. If Binh, Fordius, Venom, Azaruc was all attacking from start and planned to fight.. then obviously things on the field would have been way different and the nap between candle and valor would have been okay in our eyes.

But by no means, with the knowledge known (spoken or not), was is fair. War is never fair, thats truth. But everyone not on nirvana reading this should be aware that the Zerg kd wasnt fighting. Simply seeing how many 90kers they can build. Once we got wind of NAP, i mailed Binh and told him start spamming. Fordius simply told me to suck it.. i declined (again). And then I was gone, so we had no magic support. But we did lose, but we also had lots fun warring. Its much better than the farming tactics, for us anyway.

And the reason Valor power was low was due to the lack of troops + their mines being EQ again and again where as we were gaining land from fighting a kd and winning the war.

And people complain when Valar is forced to establish relations with Candlewax in order to take down the strongest VU player of current times.

Kingdoms do not change entire strategic calculations. Binh alone changes entire strategic calculations.

We were the smallest kingdom with pretty much only 3 active players and only had relations with Candle who farmed all OOP while we fought Zerg and Zenith. Then Valar decides to war candle and us, but changes their mind entering into a NAP with Candle while still warring us. This was kinda a messed up era where we got stuck in the middle of every kingdom. It is what it is and Sleepless will fight to the end as always. I even gave Chade a go at the end after restarting :) Too hard to fight off two already established kingdom mates at the same time by yourself...
