Tbh i sincerely doubt anyone aspires to anything besides having a pastime for the few moments spared during stresfull working hours/studying hours/pickyourpoison. It's just good fun to see what the game has developed into. As usual some of it is really nice, some of it is "meh" and a few things are downright appaling.

Winning in VU was never a difficult thing. Having fun in it, now there's a different story. The boards are more or less dead. I can sense no real rivalries between any of the current KD's. The once great spirit of conflict and feuding between grand factions is utterly and completely lost. Even jibing Ford, the monkey that he is, has lost it's appeal and only serves as a reminder of good times gone.

With that said i think i have answered both you, Swifteh, and Ford in his everlasting quest for personal redemption (sorry mate, you were, are, and will be considered a... well... Ford). We are here, because it's fun to poke our nose back in every now and then, for the bleep of it.

ive always found that my most loyal friends usually end up being peoplee ive fought.

*sigh* you all are pretty boring... even when it comes to flaming... :S *misses the old flame wars :'( * and i totally miss the old vu style.. i miss all the rivalries ...and old alliances... it seems like these eras never produce a type of brotherhood of war... where you knew who you were fighting and why you were fighting them and even respected the history of the previous fights you had w/ that person.... seems this game has dramatically deteriorated imo...

Totally agree with Raist on this one...we came back to have some fun... with the old gang... our intentions were not to create a new DB and win the era... what you people outside the circle of DB fail to realize is that this kingdom isnt just a kingdom, its a group of friends who've played a game together for YEARS.. (sad but true)... i mean i wouldnt even be playing this era if it werent for them... (espically since ive been out the game for nearly a year and half).... so drop that "aspire to DB" crap.. because clearly your perceptions of DB is not ours... and there is no point in arguing when these perceptions are so vastly different...

Now as far as this era goes, yeah sure... we didnt do too well... so what... its not us who come around and rate us to be "top kingdoms for the era" ... its you, who think we will be a threat... which again, comes from the miss-perception of what DB is...

As far as why we arent doing so well, its obvious that due to the fact that atleast half of the players that the HEMA rooster produced were people coming back from a long time away... which combined with no OOP war and only farming until worlds opened... resulted in inactive players... only a few people trained decent armies or even contributed to blocker defence... this is what Quiet was getting at when she was complaining about activity... shes been like a nagging mother to all of us :) (<3 you q) about upping our activity.. so when i read her comments... i cant help but feel bad because she put in time and effort and then has to come in here and read crap about the kingdom she tried to create/motivate...

as for the new people that i dont know... dont care to know.... um..... good fight? a word of advice... dont gloat.... or ask for praise... thats a sure ticket lottery that next era youll get kicked in the shin/balls and lose the era.... :) just passing down wisdom... :P.. enjoy your victory ... inside... and take what you learned this era and apply it to the next...

Then after the new one started pretended to hes members that he had to nap us becuase he promised Binh. After that it was not hard for Hemawtf to start telling eachother how great they are and how they could beat us.

When it comes to the community. It's still a game I play for fun and don't take it personal thats why I always will enter a convo with anyone that's willing too. Even if I fight em I mean why wouldn't I wanna get to know the newer guys are they not worth anything ? If you would take your time you would see that there are enough cool and good guys there.

so in both cases I've  been with your kd and I've been away for a time period too. Later on I rejoined LGC but I think that was after DB was gone.

We kept communicating with FLL ask them and we helped eachother out. On freezes and on attacks they knew exactly about all our movements and we didnt hid or left them in the cold ask em.

Ford I believe that I already addressed that topic like pages back now! I did say that probably if anything we overestimated ourselves did I not?  That doesnt change the fact that we are still infact, fighting mulitple kingdoms some of which were working together against us.  Do we take on more than we can handle rather than mass nap? Ofcourse we do...we always have...that's the way it goes... This for now is all what I'm going to comment on for now. Deno, as usual you are incorrect and poking your nose into our thread where it is not welcome. I can't believe Binh even has you around, you piss off so many people including current members in your KD and ones who have left.

People like you degrade our community, you're more annoying (less of the youtube links and tardish chat about things of little importance and having a noobs level of VU understanding) than anyone I've met on the game. Except maybe Justin in his earlier years. Haha just kidding Justin <3.

Let me put you in the know, for a supposed vice who does alot of work (due to the 24/7 nature of you playing VU. Life, get one?) you don't know much of what happened. I gathered the few players from DB/Prosapia/Juicy that stayed in the KD (I wonder who drove the others out, yeah you, getting the feeling not many people like you?) and I told them of the plans. Ali told me that I should inform Binh since hes a friend and I was taking members from HIS KD (yes his, not yours) so I did.
Then out of friendship I offered a NAP and Binh agreed to it. However, come era start we had no terms. So I messaged Binh and a couple vices (but I purposely avoided you) regarding it. Eventually, I took it upon myself to make the NAP terms and sent them to him.

Your KD may beat us, you have many great players such as Stirlin, Ez, Rox, Brashen, Val, Argyle, Binh, Rad...infact almost all your KD are great players. However, we here in Hema don't approve of massive KDs like yours. We'd rather a core set of players WHO GET ON WITH EACH OTHER, unlike whats going on in Hema I hear. I wouldn't be suprised if the RVL/LGC lot leave at era end. Binh should really see how you force away everyone hes ever been friends with.
Where did any of us state that we could beat you? Sure, some of us wanted war (me included, if I didn't get a NAP with Binh out of respect, I'd of been first on the front).

Regarding the town swap: Spiral Wall.

I guess technically it was a town swap in that one kd had it then another took it. However, the blocker was originally FLL and was captured and left undefended in the oop wars.

Once Hema began moving towards our core through that undefended blocker it seemed like a wise decision to take it before the enemy did.. apparently FLL leadership agreed. I did not consult OD regarding Spiral Wall until I had captured the city and bounced the army. So it was not really collusion even though it benefited both of our kds.
