Firstly it is an honour to fight RoC...full of quality players and infact my leader in another world9who truly values my contribution there) is in RoC as well are many of the other members of RoC. Grudeg was in the same alliance as me a few eras back and will probably end up winning an era one day. I have been fighting RoC since OOP and it has been a war of attrition which means i have fought a lot(hence on most fearsome) but my economy is rubbish and so it is not hard for people to walk over me...dem the breaks. still i made 72 milllion in total from taking one of your cities and left the production awful for you and my troops that were in there were a lot less so i profited handsomely from the deal and left you less than when i took it. i am fighting (and i am almost dead) RoC without the benefit of blockers and so yeah...i will die so what? it has been a fun era and vuggy i have seen very little that is impressive from you. | |||||||||||

And I figured you weren't that stupid to come this far... so I left it undefended to make a bigger army to go south. Plus I figured our friends up north wouldn't leave a blocker open... so eh. When i took your city we were at war with Anubis...we were not at war with RoC and infact we had a deal with them at the time....vu is a funny place and politics change but i had no other enemies to fight in range anyhow...thus i took your city....the benefit to me was greater than the losses from the army from when you took it back...plus all the income in the meantime. my economy was awful and this gave me a much needed boost which helped me with RoC later on but it was of course too late....still i would have suffered far worse and more quickly without taking your city. summary: i gained far more than lost by taking it and it was tactically the right thing to do. my entire area was without blockers and indeed i gave two cities two RoC in good faith i had previously taken as i considered we were allies and they were surplus to my needs...RoC did what they had to do as they were quite boxed in but of course i am a little disappointed it happened and i received the brunt of it(and barely affected any other Music player) but that is the way of the game and i will survive this era and it has been a real challenge and i think RoC can appreciate what i have done with so little. i have not farmed even one week of this era and it is always healthy to do some of it...i have played this era to the full whilst travelling from southern russia, to moscow, to denmark, to london and now provincial england....so i think my team mates and most of my competitors can say i have had a good solid era. though certainly a difficult one. | |||||||||||

I actually kind of smirked when I read the portion in bold. Why would you claim what he took "is nothing compared to what you had in your stockpile at that moment"? That doesn't make you look any better, it actually does pretty much the opposite. I don't have anything against you though, and while I would normally giggle at the excuse of someone claiming that computer wasn't working; it is probably valid because I think that you are actually a pretty good player; although not so much a strong forum warrior. | |||||||||||

| 06:58:38 Sep 9th 10 - Emperor Palpy Thinks God Has Lost: i lost a lot of my cities to RoC who we warred AFTER i took your city...i was completely surrounded by RoC without any blockers and at the time we were friendly....yes i could have kept my army inside my cities all era but we were warring anubis so that is why i took your city...the slaves , over 300k worth, were the most profitable from the exercise more than the stone or gold. i am most certainly still playing and still smacking and burning your team mates rather nicely. | |||||||||||

| 15:35:44 Sep 9th 10 - Emperor Palpy Thinks God Has Lost: losing a 90k city not hurtful to you..oh ok...maybe not...but it was certainly beneficial to me to have it, sell off the pezz as slaves, get a fair whack of gold and stone for the sake of losing a cheap army....plus of course watch you march all the way back from the frontline to take it, so our guys could counter attack nicely. General farming has done a splendid job of fighting us as has belgaroth and anubis....you have been mostly running around in circles most of the era or sitting in one city. i am sure you are more than competent as a player vuggy...you have some nice real estate and you kknow what you are doing...but it isn't really you to judge the benefit to me in taking one of your cities...it was indeed worth it. | |||||||||||

Zondy has more troops than my by more than double, so he could have easily used up troops to match my armies strength and still have a stronger one to attack with. The 90k was hurtful, but it didn't kill me. I was continuing on my path because I was told it would be taken care of, and when it wasn't I took my own actions. Plus, I was the only one from our KD fighting Hell Hounds, and I did a damn good job of keeping them in their area, not ours. Since then I've really just been running around with a big ? on my head. | |||||||||||
