To those criticising FATE, just remember VU is a strategy game and not only a crazy OOP fight. Only KDs with good leadership can win VU World, and this is what FATE is doing (or at least trying to do). FATE is a good Chess KD player. It is not FATE's fault they have so many NAPs – if you are a large KD with ambitions to get FANTA assets – don’t accept FATE’s NAP – this is what FATE did last era with Juicy; FATE has no option but to look for many friends as their assets worth much more than others. Instead of highlighting what you think is ‘bad’ at FATE, try to see the good things: e.g. for those having good view of their core, can you see how well they’ve managed to seal (with blockers) their large KD? That’s not very easy, but it is so important. | ||||||||
| 06:34:40 Jul 30th 09 - Demonslayer The Infidel Killing Kitten: ...So who will they be fighting? :| I am curious about how a 36 man KD will handle going to war with other "strong" KDs when they NAPed every competitive KD except for 2-3 others... : Fant won't be a battleground with KDs on probably every side covering the borders against Fate's enemies... I remember when having more than 2-3 NAPs was something people spoke up about...now 6+ doesn't attract much more than a glance? :\ I understand it rises greatly because of KDs that are supposed to rush Fant to get a high end of era score, but Fate has the era won unless an ally tried to out pump them on their own turf... :\ | ||||||||

| 07:12:26 Jul 30th 09 - Mr. Alterax: if you perceive FATE is a likely era winner,whtehr by war or farming, then by NAPing them you are pretty much relinquishing any chance for era win yourself. for small kingdoms this may not be an issue, but for larger ones it is them who ought face any criticism for not warring for a win. FATE is just playing it smart. so its not FATE not wanting to war, its other kingdoms not wishing to war FATE. | ||||||||

| 07:58:25 Jul 30th 09 - Sir Justanius Fontainius XXII: "FATE is just playing it smart. so its not FATE not wanting to war, its other kingdoms not wishing to war FATE." but it is fate not wanting war....firstly they are the strongest kd around, they dont need no nap to stay alive the other kd does.....secondly there strong enough to fight instead of the nap and it would be yes more risky but if they pull it off more rewarding.....and thirdly fate has enough members to fight many multiple wars if they were so well organised iv seen 20 member kds fight on 4 major fronts on the usual....they should be able to fight on what 6, 7 or even 8 if there so "good" | ||||||||

Are you thinking you could do better? You have no room to throw around statements that you yourself would have no ability to even attempt. You have been around for how long? 2-3 eras maybe? You have some nerve even posting in anything related to us losing OOP to Fate when we were outnumbered easily 2-1 with Choco who was plagued with all sorts of problems. Take RVL for instance, they just been smacked to kingdom come but were very strong last era. but they are great players and they dont whine that their enemy is impossible to beat. i wouldnt be surprised if they come back hard in a big way later. Everyone assumes FATE is so indestructible, i dont see FATE making this claim. NAPs are just that, if FATE had MAPS with all these alliances then the argument would hold water but in EVERY game i have seen a small group of insanely motivated individuals can take on the big guns and win. I was smacked around hard last era by some of these very same players, they actually taught me to play by default lol. Now i am using everything they used on me to improve as a player. i thank them for it. these guys complaining on here should go into a corner, make some armies and try again. If they fail, so what? do it again and again. have fun. other then that i mostly agree with what you say crissxcross. | ||||||||

PKS had fewer than that and has been growing while Fate got rid of a couple members and picked up others. The original arguments weren't about KD numbers until we talk about how many wars could Fate actually handle. I don't know who PKS or MAD are fighting, but I know that Fate can't be fighting anyone dangerous except maybe Rebirth. As for your second post, I said it was obvious that more NAPs would be used since the worlds were merged(Ignore that or didn't read?) but 6+ seems rather excessive... | ||||||||
