Weird: Why is V getting accused of casting armageddon? Uh, because they did actually, uh, cast armageddon. Read what you write before posting.

"LGC's domination" hasn't been ended simply by arma being casted. All V have achieved is to make 90% of their kd go dwarf, explore for less than 2 weeks, and cast arma as soon as they feel threatened by their core.

Simply ridiculous to have arma cast 13 days into the round. What is this game turning into?

Actually, the majority of posts thus far are from disfatisfied non-LGC members, disgusted at V's practice of ending the round so early. Once again, V seems be to making more enemies than friends.

Now Sloth, I know you may be slow, but the levels of tardiness you're displaying is astounding. "It wasn't much later than when armageddon was cast last era". Later? We're 1 and a weeks bit into the round so far, 13 days to be precise, and you've already cast arma out of fear of dying. Last round, arma was cast in week 4, much, much later than yours, and most importantly: it had been cast once V was utterly destroyed and had ran from fantasia.

It's obvious to me, and most other kds, that V is just scared into casting arma, hoping for an early-round exit. Judging by the amount of messages we're receiving from kd's who now want to crush V for casting it so early, it seems to me an awful decision on their part. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of V's members are angry by the decision to end the round, either.

That's what I was thinking, it's probably going to be like a lot of the premature castings in the previous eras. :)

Architect, what's there keeping you all from letting that arma stand if, heaven forbid, Legacy breaks through your turf and kills all your towns but you all throw everything you have into that one?

It's happened once, and I'm sure it can happen again. So come in here and spout all the 'spin' that you all want, but I'm sure that if things don't go your way that my prediction would come true.

Lots of Legacy response.... however, they know as well as we do it's an arma block, even though they'll call us names. Sticks and stones!!!

who the hell are you supposed to be blocking? who is going to cast arma?

they cast arma so no one else can then they can control when the era ends

Hmm, so much to respond to, so little space. So I'll be brief!

Legacy has cast arma in every one of the last 4 or 5 eras and decided the fate of the game. They have been extremely dominant. Really, they should be welcoming the challenge, not calling names and other such pointless bickering.

Of course we want to control when the era ends. What should we do, wait for Legacy to cast it? lol!

Now, for the information of everyone:

This tactic is called "Armageddon Block". Only one city can have armageddon cast upon it at one time. Armageddon can be stopped by destroying the city. The most astute will notice that the city only has 1 building in it. Therefore, within 2 ticks we can raze the city to the ground and start over.

Legacy employed the exact same tactic last round. They cast armageddon, then reset it when time almost ran out and cast it again. That is also what V plans on doing.

Shouldn't you be flattered that we are just using your same tactics? Imitation and all, right?
