don't most people play the race they like the best despite all the improvements? I'd have to go with a no - better question would be will they still STG :p

For all I know it was their main advantage. They might exist for the flavour of them, but not for their strengths in play.
I suppose we'll see mostly Orcs, Trolls and Elves in the future. A LOT less humans.
So... almost yes. Not die, but vanish slowly.

well the only way StG is now benificial for humans is that their KD mates can easily feed them cheap stone with less competition, because of the less market time, enjoy super feeding your human, but thats about it.....

also enjoy the stone market dynamics changing.... human will be on the same profit level as all other races making elf StG'ers more efficient, so if there are no humans taking everything off the market before an elf.... his profit level will be huge....

If someone told me that 10 eras ago, mabye I wouldn't be such a failure! I actually have little care for magic as most people who try to rof, freeze, or tele my armies know. :(

Feeding will be a bit easier but with competing humans from other kingdoms all madly clicking the market button the STGers will still be fighting over the 'cheaper' stone with eachother.. Elves will still get the left overs.

lol it will really depend with human StG now... now you can't sell over .95 for stone the majority of the era because of the lacking discount and now it will be a lucky dip of how many active StGers you have from where... for example if you have two active StGers in an opposite time zone pretty much means that no elf will be able to StG due to the earlier time for market appearance.....

If this is implemented, the dynamics of the market will make humans, average due to lacking discount, but at the same time eliminating any chance of any self respecting elf to ever get a chance to StG.... pretty much nerfs humans unless fed.

also the fed stone will obviously be put up at good hours for the caster who knows its coming any will be paying full attention to the market until it comes up...

Well the only reason anyone would play Human was for StG.

Now people will simply choose Elf for AM + StG because they have cheap magic. The reason people chose humans was because if there are other humans, then people would have to choose human to compete. Now stone will not sell for over 1 gold so anyone with lvl 4 magic has an even shot.

hehe, the only thing I don't understand...I think the early market time unless it's uber short actually nerfs elf StG more than human :P

Take now for instance(well, this era, I think most of us have stopped casting); stone goes up for .9..sometimes it's up there for 30-45 seconds before Random/Pengy see it and grab it - I as an elf have a chance to grab it. Even when the stone was pushed up to high prices >.99, every now and then, someone would put it up at .9 and I could snag it. If the delay for non-humans next era is say...5minutes...non-humans would NEVER have a chance to get that cheap stone.

I'm not sure you will see much difference other than the market price. It will go from being stuck at 1 with a human hoping he gets a discount to say .95-.97

yes, stg is one of the main benefits of being a human right now. getting rid of cheaper resources is really gonna hurt, even if they can get it before everyone else. that means to be a good stg human ur gonna have to be super active. gonna hurt the game cuz some ppl have a rl on the side :)

well, humans might not be totaly dead. Zeta introduced a new way to attack blockers with Cats. if he does this humans could be one of the best races for taking blockers.

Elves still have crush walls, which can break a blocker in 1-2 casts if powerful enough. You have to stop and siege the blocker(Which means your army is stronger than the defenders to some degree) and break the walls(No idea how effective or fast it is).
