Yes I think so too, mostly numbers...
Most old players will tell you, do not look at Highscores at all, they mean nothing
Sure, there is a point per unit system also
Meaning level 1 gives less points then level 5... but its still not correctly calculated
Nazguls and Berserkers do not have as much points as they should
Usually HoH is full of Halfers as their armies are most numberous...
But mostly when Halfers reach Orc or Troll army they die.

afaik (this is going back a long long way)

 

Level 1 troops = 1 point

Lvl 2 = 2

Lvl 3 = 3

 

etc etc mages counted as 1 and i think famers as 0.5 and other units are worth different.

 

Its vastly out of date but its something like that

Actually.... Zeta has tweaked the HOH board a touch when he added most ruthless. Yes, halfers are still up there.... but I'm fairly certain that OP and DP are part of the calculations now. At the very lest, you now see a lot more of the other races than you used to.

Still, Zerks and Naz are under-represented.

We asked for OP and DP to be implemented but I doubt it was...
It might be tweaked a bit, but I am pretty sure level 3s are still considered all the same... I mean Ponies 6/4 have same amount of points as Knights 11/11
So in my oppinion, HoH means nothing but number of troops :)

No, it was tweaked to include OP and DP a bit more but nevertheless is still very largely based off of numbers.
