He was intelligent, a creative kind of intelligence. He was careful as well though, and often thees two traits conflicted with each other. He liked animals, and often wandered in the gardens, looking at the birds and other animals, such as shrews.

He prefers the company of books to that of people, and always seems detached from the world around him - somehow unconcerned with the rest of the world. He appears fairly short, and walks in a habitual stoop, but would be far taller than he seems if he ever straightened out. His vision, remarkably, for someone who spends most of their time peering at musty tomes, is in excellent shape, and he is deceptively stronger than his frail frame suggests.

He is a pretty tall man of around 6 foot. he has very impressive and mysterieus blue eyes. walking is going a bit difficult lately because of the age that he has reached His personal activities or history are not known to anyone, because he has never been seen not doing his job. though secretly, there are rumours that he comes from a very rich family who he has abandoned for his love.

He has at his waist a thin sword, which he is not very good at using in combat. He likes to travel, and has apparently gone as far as the northern ice wastes and the endless rain forests of the Green Divide (a feat which he may have accomplished or simply made up)
