06:52:12 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Arvious- Name: Herek Lambert Clothing: Simple Grey T-Shirt, brown cargo pants, that are ripped up from daily life, tan jacket, tan cap. Weapon: Walton .40 Semi-Automatic Pistol Other: Whistles Herek woke up on the streets of the Nargress slums, laying in a dumpster. He wiped off some pieces of trash, and got up. Falling out of the dumpster, Herek stood up and walked among the several people around the slums. Several times, some poverty stricken people would start to plead at himself for some credits. He might have considered it, if he even had a credit to spare. His bank was empty. So, Herek brushed them away, occasionally kicking at some, so as to dissuade the poor person. Herek passed through the upper levels of the slums, passing buy some stripper holograms. Several men were looking at them, sliding their full T-Cards in the machine for a 50 Credit session. Herek snorted, and continued on. Suddenly, a shot rang out from an alley, as a man in front of him fell over, a bullet in the head. Several men ran off screaming, and Herek got a glimpse of a shady figure running off suspiciously. He shrugged, and saw what he could do to salvage what was on the body. Surprised, he found a Walton .40 Semi-Automatic Pistol and a T-Card. Looking around, he ran off with the jacket and cap the man was wearing also. He walked into a nearby bank, and swiped the card onto the automated teller. The machine displayed that the card had about 300 credits on it. Herek was surprised. It wasn't much, but it could keep him alive for a while. He had the money transfered onto his own moldy card, and walked off, keeping the dead man's card for his own. He looked at the card and found that he was not far from an apartment. Herek strolled a few blocks, careful not to attract too much attention to himself and found the apartment complex. He swiped the dead man's card at the main door and it unlocked, allowing him to go inside.
06:52:29 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Charley- Name: Dominic Kaine, Martin Deallus Weapons: Look above...cbb Clothing: Look in post Other: Dom is good, Martin is corrupt. "How's it goin' today Martin?" asked Dominic as he looked up from his paperwork. "Some old, same old. Some old lady was robbed by some thugs earlier today, but I found out who did it and sent them to the police," replied Martin. Dominic Kaine was the head detective of the "Kaine Detective Agency" that he started only a couple of years ago. Dom had short brown hair and sharp green eyes that always seemed to creep Martin out, but he had gotten used to it. Martin had longer black hair with piercing hazel eyes, but they never seemed to bother Dom. "So how much did we get for it?" asked Dom. "We were able to get about 1000 credits. I was hoping for more, but since it was a rather simple job, it wasn't going to give us anything outrageous," groaned Martin. Right as Martin finished talking, his phone rang and he pulled it out of his pocket. "Hello?" said Martin. "How is your mission coming along?" asked the man on phone. "Ah, Mrs. Dawny, everything is going along fine. I have not found any leads as to who stole your car, but I promise you I will find it soon enough," replied Martin. "Keep your eyes on him. We don't need him snooping around too much," replied the voice. "I will keep looking for that car. Don't you worry ma'am," replied Martin. He then said his goodbye and hung up the phone. "Who was that?" asked Dom. "Just a neighbor of mine who had her car stolen a few days ago. I have been trying to keep her updated on finding it, but the city is pretty big," replied Martin. Dom scribbled on a piece of paper for a few more minutes before sighing and standing up. "I am going to the police station to give them my report. Want to come along?" asked Dom. "Sure, I need to get out of this cramped office. We can leave Hugo in charge here until we get back," said Martin. "Hey Hugo!" shouted Dom. Several seconds later, another door opened and a younger man with a 5 O'clock shadow popped out. "Yeah boss?" replied the black haired man. "Hold down the fort until we get back from the station. Won't take long," said Dom as he walked towards the door. "No problem Mister K," replied Hugo Anderson as he sat back down at his tiny desk and got back to work. Dom had grabbed his brown overcoat as he walked out the door. Martin followed after him and grabbed his black trench coat as well. "The winters here sure are f'kin cold eh Dom?" mumbled Martin. "Sure are...seems colder every year," replied Dom.
06:52:52 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Septim- Name: John Miller Weapons: Combat knife, baseball bat (others in storage) Clothing: Black leather jacket, jeans, black T-shirt, black ski-mask, tennis shoes. Other: Corrupt cop at the office, vigilante in his spare time. Miller walked into the bathroom, following a small-time thug that had murdered a woman while stealing her car. As the man was urinating, Miller began washing his hands, then, as the thug began walking out the door, Miller grabbed him from behind and slammed his head into the wall. The man yelled in pain, and Miller smashed his head into the wall several more times before the man kicked off the wall and sent both Miller and him into a stall. The man then sat there, holding his head, and Miller pushed him out of the stall and stomped on the back of his head before grasping the sink and pulling, ripping the sink off the wall. Before he delivered the blow, the man yelled one final cry of panic before having his head smashed by a sink. Miller brought it down one more time as the door opened up and several thugs rushed in. Miller pulled out his baseball bat and smashed one thug's head, followed by another's ribs, before being tackled by the mob of thugs. They held him up, and each took turns beating the crap out of Miller. As the thugs beat him, however, one found his badge under his shirt. "Shit, he's a cop!" exclaimed a thug. "We can't kill him," said the leader, "Fuck!" They, however, didn't hesitate to beat him some more. And when it looked like he had taken enough, they backed up and the leader kneeled next to him, grabbing him by the hair and looking him in the eyes. "Don't try this shit again...or we WILL kill you," said the leader before getting up, kicking Miller in the ribs, and walking out the door with the others. After several minutes, Miller managed to roll over and lift himself up. After collecting his teeth from the floor, Miller managed to stumble down the street to his car, where he got in and opened up trunk, finding a few basic medical supplies. After taking painkillers and cleaning the wounds, Miller closed his trunk, got into the driver's seat, and to the local late-night dentist. Name: Vincent Chase Weapons: Terzom-4 handgun Clothing: White suit, red shirt with the collar unbuttoned. Other: Ladies man, loves his car. "How was the tail, Vince!?" asked Vince's friend, Matt, as he approached from the bathroom where he had just screwed a young dark skinned woman. Vince didn't know her origins. "I've had better," said Vince before ordering his drink, after slamming it, he turned to his friend, "We'd better go..." "Why?" asked Matt. The woman suddenly walked out of the bathroom, looking around and seeing Vince with rage in her eyes. "That's why!" said Vince as he rushed out with Matt. The woman grabbed the bartender's baseball bat and ran outside after them. As Vincent started up his car, the woman brought the baseball bat down on his windshield. Vincent got out, grabbed the bat from her as she swung at him, and began punching her before taking her ear-rings and ring to pay for the damage. He then punched her again, knocking her out, and got back into his car. "Crap...Vince, is she okay?" asked Matt as they drove off. "I don't give a shit," said Vince, examining the cracks in his windshield.
06:53:30 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Charley- Dom and Martin had driven from the low levels of the city up into the middle sections. After about twenty more minutes of driving, Dom stopped his car in front of the police headquarters. The two men got out of the car and walked in the main doors. Dom took his handwritten documents, along with a computer data drive copy and handed them to an officer sitting behind one of the main desks. "Name of your agency?" asked the officer. "Kaine Detective Agency," replied Dom. "Ah, good evening Detective Kaine. More guys going to be put away huh?" asked the officer and he began putting the files away. "Someone has to clean the streets in the slums. You guys are overworked as it is," replied Dom. "Too true, I am lucky I got this desk job for two of my six work days because it lets me rest up for the other days," replied the officer. While Dom and the officer were talking, Martin walked off on his own into a dimly lit office nearby and closed the door. "Does he suspect anything?" asked a man. "Nothing that I can detect, but he could be hiding something from me," replied Martin. "Well, our latest operation has just begun. It should go smoothly if no one sticks their nose where it doesn't belong. We will keep you informed. Keep your eyes on him," replied the man as he walked from the room using another door. Martin then turned and left the room just as Dom was finishing up his conversation with the officer. "Alright, here is your payment for turning in paperwork and keeping registered," said the officer as he handed Dom his Tysos Credit Card(T-Card) to him. "Thanks, I will be back here soon enough I am sure," said Dom as he waved for Martin to follow him out the door. The two men hopped into the car and drove back to their agency after a thirty minute drive. Dom pulled the car up in front of his building and walked in the front door with Martin right behind him. "Hugo, did anyone call?" asked Dom. "Yeah Mister K, some lady came here about an hour ago. She wanted me to give a note for you without reading it," replied Hugo as he walked from his cramped office and handed Dom a slip of paper. "Thanks Hugo," said Dom as he opened up the slip and read: Go outside of your office ALONE and look at the street drain. There will be a letter attached on the underside of the cover. Dom scratched his head and began walking outside. "Hey Dom, where are you going?" asked Martin. "Just to get some fresh air. I seem to be feeling dizzy right now," replied Dom as he moved his hand up to his temple. Martin shrugged and turned to Hugo. "Did you recognize her at all?" "No, she was wearing a lot of heavy clothing and her face was almost completely covered," replied Hugo. "Strange," mumbled Martin as he stratched his head. Dom had walked outside and did as the note had told him to. He quickly found a letter where it was supposed to be and put it in his pocket. Dom then walked back inside after several minutes. "Ah, that feels much better. The cold air seemed to have cleared my head up pretty quickly. I have some extra paperwork to do before going home. You two can leave if you want and I will close up," said Dom. "Nah, that's okay Dom, I have something to do as well, but it will only take a minute," said Martin as he headed into his office. "I guess I will head home then Mister K," said Hugo. "You can call me Dom if you want. This isn't a formal workplace," replied Dom. "Nah, it's okay Mister K. Calling you that seems to have grown on me," replied Hugo with a grin. Hugo was a smart kid and very strongly built as well, but Dom wished he would call him by his first name at least. Dom then shrugged and walked into his office and closed the door behind him. He locked the door quietly and opened up the letter that he had found. Dom then read it silently... I am sure that you may have seen the news by now. Six extremely intelligent scientists who worked for various science groups have been kidnapped. They were leaders in the fields of Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics, and also Weapons Development. The youngest of these scientists, Michael Jameson, is my son. I want you to find him and these other scientists no matter the cost. I cannot go to the police because I am afraid that I will never be seen again if I show my face there. I do not trust them at all and neither should you request their aid. I need you and you alone to work on this case for the safety of both of our lives. I wish to meet you sometime, but it will be alone. Meet me in the sewers underneath the old abandoned subway station on the southside of the city tomorrow. Sincerely, A Friend In Need PS - Please destroy this letter after reading it. Leave no trace if it behind. Dom finished reading the letter and scratched his head. He then stuffed the note into his pocket and planned to burn it later when he got home, but first he turned on his HoloScreen. "-and we are back. This is the Nargess Broadcasting News Network. I am Paul Demory, and this is my partner Nick Sanfron. We have no updates on the kidnapping of six highly learned scientists from various industries and research facilities around the city, but we do have their names. Their names, brief descriptions and field concentration are going to scroll across the screen now:" Timothy Newkirk - Bioengineering -A 62 year old man with greying hair and green eyes. Approximately 5ft 8inches tall and is about 170 pounds. Jonathan Castle - Mechanical Engineering -A 67 year old man with no hair and blue eyes. Approximately 6ft 1inches tall and is about 180 pounds. Francis Vulmar - Cybernetics -A 52 year old man with black hair and greying temples with green eyes. Approximately 6ft 2inches tall and is about 200 pounds. Rudolph Palmer - Weapons Development -A 48 year old man with blonde hair and brown eyes. Approximately 5ft 5inches tall and 180 pounds. Michael Jameson - Armor Research and Development -A 29 year old man with brown hair and green eyes. Approximately 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. "Those are all that we have on the missing persons and more updates will be coming soon. Let's hope we can find these people soon," said Paul Demory before commercials began. Dom turned off his HoloScreen and walked out of his office. Martin and Hugo were both gone and Dom turned out the lights and locked up the building. He punches in a keycode at the door and the security system came online. Dom sighed to himself and forgot that he never took his coat off when he went inside. The cool breeze blew against him and Dom shivered as it began cooling the sweat that had built up underneath his coat. He hopped into his car and pulled the door shut before sighing again. Dom then drove to his home that was in the upper levels of the slums and went to sleep.

Weapon: Walton .40 Semi-Automatic Pistols, Hunting Rifle Other: Whistles Herek Lambert walked into the apartment, looking around. THe room he was in, which appeared to be a Living Room, had a nice sofa extending from the wall, a plasma screen television, and a couple of dim wall lights. Herek put the stuff he salvaged from the dead man on the sofa, and walked through the rest of the place. The kitchen had the standard oven, microwave, mini fridge, and dish washer. The bathroom had a toilet, small sink, and a high-pressure shower. It didn't look like there was a bedroom, but Herek could always sleep on the couch. Finally, he opened one last door, to find a dark room with a computer monitor on it. Herek turned on the lights and gasped. The room had a couple of pistols on a rack, with ammunition clips in a neat pile. A hunting rifle was lying next to the computer, with a large pack of bullets. Herek slowy moved to the computer monitor, where he opened up the flashing Mail icon, and read the following. To: David Lemard From: j0b g1V3R Title: Good work, Lemard. Hello, David. Good job on that last mission I had for you. You've become a reliable person. I've sent a good amount of 1000 Credits your way. I've got a new mission for you already. Ever heard of the Midnight Dance Club? Some important people are meeting behind the place, out of sight. I don't need you to kill them, only listen in on their conversation. I've sent a package to your apartment, send the recordings in your reply. That is all. Suddenly, a buzzer rang at David's door. Herek got up from the chair he sat in, and walked to the door, to find a package laying at his feet. "Well," Herek said to himself. "Looks like I finally found myself a job. I just have to impersonate a dead guy. Great."
06:54:10 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Septim- Name: John Miller Weapons: Combat knife, baseball bat (others in storage) Clothing: Brown trousers, blue shirt, black tie, brown vest, dark brown coat. Other: Corrupt cop at the office, vigilante in his spare time. John rolled out of bed Monday morning, still sore from the beating he had received the few days before. He walked to his bathroom, grabbed his bottle of asprin, and took a few with some water before taking his shower. He then got dressed in his usual work clothes, grabbed his keys, his wallet, his badge, and his other effects, before walking out the door into the parking garage. He walked to his left, steped into Sercom Interceptor and drove towards work. *** "Miller, you look like shit," said Detective Greg Bollrick. "It's what I get after the weekend I had," muttered Miller. "Get drunk?" asked Bollrick. "Drunk," said Miller, pretending to hide truth that was actually a lie. "Your face doesn't look like that after getting drunk." "Fine, I got my ass kicked in a barfight, that what you wanted to hear?" asked Miller. "A bunch of thugs? Kick your ass?" laughed Bollrick, "We'll have to fix that!" "What?" asked Miller. "What'd they look like? Where'd you fight them?" asked Bollrick. "In the lower levels, we don't need to go down there," said Miller. "Bullshit, c'mon, we'll show them not to fuck a Detective," said Bollrick as he grabbed his gun. "Greg, it's not necessary, I'm fine," said Miller. "You're going soft, Miller," accused Greg, "Ain't no two-bit thugs going to mess with you on my watch." Bollrick then walked out the door, and Miller was ordered to follow. *** Around the hangout, the six thugs all sat around doing things such as arm-wrestling, watching television, and playing pool. "Eight-ball, side-pocket," said one of the thugs as he smacked the cue-ball. The cue-ball struck the eight-ball, and the eight-ball collided with a striped-ball of the opponent, causing the striped ball to move to the side. “Shit, Jackie would’ve made that shot no problem.,” said the opponent. “Jackie got his head smashed in by that fucking cop, drop it,” said the man who had attempted to hit the ball in. Suddenly, the door was kicked open and two police detectives stormed into the room, holding standard issue Enforcer pistols at the ready. “Nobody fucking move, not a fucking muscle,” snarled Detective Greg Bollrick as the thugs, who owned no firearms, put their hands up, “Alright, one of you get the fuck up here, my friend here wants a rematch, a fair one.” Miller took off his jacket, along with his tie and shirt to avoid bloodstains, leaving him with only his white tank top. One of the thugs stepped forward, and Miller stood at the ready. The thug ran forward, drew a knife, and attacked. Miller grabbed the thug’s arm, pulled it to the side, and punched the thug in the face with his other arm. Miller then reached down, grabbed the dazed thug’s knife, and stabbed at the thug’s arm. The thug raised his arm, lifted Miller’s arm as it stabbed, and managed to dodge, countering with a punch in the ribs. Miller countered the punch by grabbing the thug’s arm, pressing down on a pressure point, and stabbing him twice in the chest. The thug fell to the floor, clutching his bleeding chest with the hand that still worked correctly, a lung had been punctured, and a mixture of blood and oxygen was beginning to create a foam. “Good one John! Next!” said Bollrick, still holding the thugs at gunpoint. “Can he be taken to a doc?” asked a thug. “No! This is to the death!” roared Bollrick, laughing and obviously enjoying himself. The thugs were horrified, and John turned to look at Bollrick. “They didn’t kill me, I actually managed to kill one of their guys during the bathroom fight,” said John. “They didn’t kill you because you were a cop, had you been anybody else, and they would’ve wasted you on the spot!” spat Bollrick as he looked down at the man who was dying a painful death, he quickly aimed his Enforcer at the thug, fired, and moved it back to cover the thugs who were now rushing at him, drawing knives and readying their fists. He fired twice, killing one and injuring another, before the thugs reached him and began stabbing at him. Without hesitation, John raised his pistol and fired at the thugs who were rushing at him. He then shot the ones who were stabbing Bollrick. They fell to the floor, dead or injured, and John executed the injured before running to the down Bollrick and going to pull out his radio. Bollrick gripped John’s arm. “No,” he gasped, in extreme pain, “Doc…” John pulled Bollrick up and dragged him outside, putting him in his sedan. He then jumped in and drove away from the scene. *** “It was close, but he’ll make it,” said the doctor. “How close?” asked John. “Another minute, and he would’ve died. Whoever did it knew where to stab,” said the doctor, “He won’t be fit to move for another week or two, it’ll be around ten thousand.” “Ten thousand!?” asked John. “He said to use his card,” said the doctor, “It’s already been paid.” “If you need anything, here’s my number,” said John before assuming a threatening voice, “Treat him well.” John then walked outside, took a taxi back to the police station, and began writing his report of how Bollrick was injured, with help from several other officers and detectives who had written false reports before. Name: Vincent Chase Weapons: Terzom-4 handgun Clothing: Black suit, red shirt. Other: Ladies man, loves his car. Drug Dealer Mike Hart walked down the street, wearing his coat over his bullet proof vest. In his coat were several bags of assorted drugs, along with a submachine gun. However, the two items of protection proved useless when a car drove by and several bullets were emptied into his body, many missing, many hitting his head and his arms. The body fell to the ground, and Vincent Chase drove off, unloading his submachine gun as he did so.

Other: Corrupt cop at the office, vigilante in his spare time. John Miller, now an unknown vigilante walking through the southern part of the city, was currently tailing a man he knew was dealing drugs near schools. As he the drug dealer walked however, he looked behind him. Seeing John in his black leather jacket made him turn around. "Hey man, want a fix?" asked the dealer. John approached him and took his baseball bat from his jacket as the drug dealer took out his pistol. John smashed his bat down on the dealer's arm, causing him to drop the gun and begin sprinting off down the street. John picked up the gun, shoved it in his jacket pocket, and began running after him, not wanting to fire the gun and attract attention. The drug dealer ran down the block and turned, running up to a gated subway access. He kicked the gate, and the nearly rusted through chains broke, allowing him to run through. The trick to get away did not stop John, for he had heard the kick. He ran through, following closely, and soon reached the floor, where the dealer ran off into the tunnels. John took out his flashlight and followed, devoted to killing him. "Shit man! Just leave me alone!" cried the dealer as he ran, clearly out of breath. John did not respond, he simply ran after the dealer, closing the distance due to his higher endurance, and smashed him over the head. The dealer let out a yell, and John smashed him over the head again to end his screaming. He then checked the body, looking through his coat and finding several pieces of paper representing those he had gotten the drugs from, and those he had sold to.

Name: Dominic Kaine Weapons: A 9mm Phantom Semi-Automatic Pistol Clothing: Black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a tan overcoat. Other: Dom is a good detective wanting to clean up corruption. He has a cybernetic left eye that helps him in his job. Dom had driven his car to the southern part of the city and parked two blocks from the subway entrance. He made sure he had his gun with him along with several clips just in case of any unwelcomed visitors. Dom then put on a hat to help keep the cold wind from nipping at the skin on his face. As he walked towards the entrance of the subway, Dom looked around and saw no one nearby. He walked to the entrance of the subway station, but found that it was chained shut. Dom kicked in the gate of the station and closed them after he passed through. He then wrapped the chains around the gates to make them hold shut, but no stronger than how he had found them. As Dom was beginning to move deeper into the tunnel, he swore he heard shouting coming from behind him. Dom ignored it for a minute or so until he heard the gates crash open and the sound of footsteps. He drew his pistol out and saw a man rush past him, missing him in the dark. Dom then saw another man chasing after the first one and hit him repeatedly with a bat. "What the hell?" Dom thought to himself. He drew his pistol out and made sure he was not close enough to be hit with the bat. "Freeze! Identify yourself" shouted Dom.

Shit! He has me from behind, probably has a gun. I guess I'm a detective again. John raised his hands and turned around, dropping his bat as he did so. "Detective John Miller, if you'll let me pull out my badge and my identification, who the fuck are you?"
17:29:57 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Deallus-
"Detective Dominic Kaine, Kaine Detective Agency. Turn around very slowly and let me see you pull out your badge slowly. I won't believe who you are until I see your identification. After that, I will want to know why you are here and beating the crap out of someone with a baseball bat," replied Dom as he kept his gun trained on the person he just saw beat the crap out of another guy.
18:18:30 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Septim-
John turned around and realized that Dominic had no flashlight. He did not ask questions, however, and pulled out his badge and ID right away. He handed it to Dominic, still keeping his hands raised, and started repeating a false story. "I was in the middle of an operation, went to a drug den, his guys took my Enforcer. He recognized me from a previous encounter, tried to pull a gun on me. I disarmed him and grabbed a nearby baseball bat as he punched at me. I smashed his arm, and he jumped out the window. I grabbed his gun chased him for a few blocks into this subway tunnel, and I decided to kill him. Big deal, nobody but his junkies will miss him..."
18:19:01 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Deallus- Dom looked at John for several seconds, scanning his face with his cybernetic eye. He then glanced at the identification for a moment before handing it back to the man.

"Let me get a couple pictures of the body for my report," said John as he pulled out a small disposable camera and used his flashlight to find the body again. After finding it, he snapped several pictures. He then put his disposable camera away, picked up his baseball bat, and began walking down the tunnels. After reaching the end of the tunnels. Detective Kaine...might have to look into him. He was able to read my ID, look at my badge, and aim at me in the dark. He might have some cybernetic work done on him. Will leave it be for now, I have some leads to chase down. Once back to his car, John pulled out the sheets of paper he had taken from the body. He memorized the names and copied them to his ancient PDA. He didn't like the newer stuff, bad people in high places could easily get into them. After looking up the names on his PDA database, John found a few addresses. With a smile, he started up his car and drove off.
18:20:20 Oct 23rd 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Deallus- Dom waited for the other detective to leave before moving deeper into the tunnels. He found an open maintenance door that had a ladder inside, and he tried testing it as best as he could before climbing down it. As soon as he stepped off of the last rung, he felt a gun press up against the back of his skull.

Name: John Miller Weapons: Combat knife, baseball bat, Renall 9mm pistol Clothing: Black leather jacket, jeans, black T-shirt, black ski-mask, tennis shoes. Other: Corrupt cop at the office, vigilante in his spare time. John was in his car a block down from an apartment housing a local drug distributor. On the center divider between the two front seats was a partially assembled Renall 9mm pistol. The light modifications he had made to the weapon made it more reliable. It would work for now, but he hoped he wouldn’t get into any firefights, he only had one clip. He put on his ski-mask and stepped out of the car, sliding the pistol into a leather breast holster. He then grabbed his bat and put it underneath his jacket. He walked down the block to an apartment complex and walked to the door, pressing the buzzer belonging to apartment number 105. “Hello?” answered a woman’s voice. “Detective Jack Walker, I’m investigating gunshots in the area,” lied Miller. “Police? Fine,” said the woman’s voice as the gate was buzzed open. John walked through, and up the hallway, past room 105, to the stairs. He walked up several flights to the third level, where he walked out and began walking down the hall, taking off his ski-mask as he did so. It would arouse suspicion, and there were no cameras in the run-down apartment. Standing outside room 209 was a man wearing a black hoodie, a pair of blue jeans, and a beanie. John walked by, then turned around, pulling out his bat as he did so, and smashed the guard in the side of the head. He fell to the ground, and John grabbed his pistol and his beanie when he fell. He put on the beanie, and dragged the body around the corner just as a thug walked out and saw a puddle of blood. “Holy shit!” he yelled, “B! This better not be fuckin’ ketchup!” The thug leaned down and examined at it, then turned around. “Boss! B’s dead!” yelled the thug as John threw a rock down the hall. The thug pulled out his gun and aimed down the hall. “There’s somebody here!” yelled the thug as John ran up behind him, grabbed him,, pulled out his Renall, and pushed the guard through the door. The men inside opened fire, and John rushed in, firing on both and landing seven shots out of ten. Three of which struck the last thug in the chest, one hit the boss in the neck, and the last three hit the boss in the chest. They fell backwards, dead, and John ran down the hall and dragged the first thug called B through the door. Afterwards, he began searching the apartment and the bodies for useful items. He soon found a computer, and he copied the contents to his PDA. Afterwards, he took the dead boss’s weapon, a Firefly 9mm, and put it in his pocket. With the whole apartment searched, John left the building (nobody had called the police, gunshots were usual), and walked down the street to his car. He then drove off, back towards home. *** “Shit!” exclaimed John as he drove by his house. Outside were two men, both of which had their hands in their jackets, “Can’t leave it, I have too much in there.” With that, John drove down the street, parked his car, and walked back with his Firefly at the ready and his Renall as a backup. The thugs turned and drew their weapons as John already had his out, opening fire in a rapid motion. The bullets hit one thug in the legs, and the other in the groin. “YAWHAOW!” screamed the second thug as he fell to the floor, holding his bleeding groin. John ran up and executed them both as he saw a van drive around the block. John grabbed the two thugs’ guns and ran into his apartment building, the men driving the van didn’t follow. John had no idea that all they had were knives. After cleaning his apartment of everything useful and incriminating to either him or others, John ran down the street to his car, loaded it up, and took off.

Dom drove back towards his office from the abandoned subway with many things going through his mind. Who was the man that he had to find with a cybernetic arm? Why had the woman lied to him about who she was? Who was hunting for her? Many things kept spinning through his head, but he forced himself to concentrate on driving. It only took a short time before Dom got back to the office. "Hey Dom, where have you been?" asked Martin from where he was sitting. "Some person crank called me...the bastard," grumbled Dom as he hung up his coat. "Damn, that sucks. Oh, by the way, Hugo found us two men who could be very useful. Ray Xarxes and Gerald Farilor seemed to fit exactly what you were looking for. Smart and reliable men who are looking for a job," said Martin. "Where is Hugo?" asked Dom. "Sitting in his office going over paperwork," replied Martin. Dom nodded his head and knocked on Hugo's door. "Come on in," was the reply. "Hugo, Martin said you found two guys for us," said Dom. "Oh yeah, I have two quick files made up on them right on the corner of my desk," said Hugo as he pointed to two papers on the edge of his desk. Dom picked them up and looked over them. "Yes...very good Hugo. I want you to have them come in. I am busy working on something at the moment, so you and Martin can show them the ropes," said Dom. "Can we put them through initiation?" asked Hugo with a grin. Dom shot him a glare. "No! I don't want you holding them at gunpoint like you tried to do to me! I almost killed you then," replied Dom. "Hey, you have to admit that it was funny until you found it it was me! It was only my left wrist that you broke either way Mister Kay. I could still write with my right hand of course," replied Hugo. "Somehow, you never can find anything negative about anything," sighed Dom as he went into his office. He turned on his computer and began looking up people who had received cybernetic enhancements for their arms. A list of about 100 people popped up and slowly he began trying to work the number down. While Dom was working, he decided to turn on his TV. A news report was being broadcasted and he stopped working for a moment. "This is Paul Demory and my partner Nick Sanfron giving you the latest news update on the vigilante of Nargess," said the broadcaster. "Right Paul, the man's name is John Miller, a police detective who suddenly was found out to have been hunting down criminals on the streets and killing them. While this may seem fine to others, the police have announced that vigilantes are simple murderers with a twisted sense of right and wrong. The Nargess Police have also issued a warrant for his arrest and have ordered all citizens and detective forces to keep their eyes opened for this man and call him in immediately," added Nick Sanfron. Following his talk, a picture of John Miller appeared on the screen. Dom almost choked on the coffee he began sipping when he saw who it was. "Him!?" Dom almost shouted before containing himself. The two broadcasters then began rambling on about justice and the safety ratings of the city in the past, but Dom tuned them out. "So, I was right about that guy. I thought he seemed rather funny, but I was too busy at the time to deal with him anyways. I wonder why the police are going crazy over this guy though..." thought Dom. He typed away at his computer for several more minutes before getting a list of three possible suspects with cybernetic arms. Dom then walked into Hugo's office after knocking. "Hey Hugo, did you check the news about this vigilante guy named Miller? I want you and the two new guys to keep an eye out for him since I am busy. I am going home to sleep so you are in charge here after Martin leaves," said Dom as he pulled on his coat and headed out the door.
15:30:41 Oct 27th 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Septim-
Name: John Miller Weapons: Combat knife, baseball bat, Renall 9mm pistol, Firefly 9mm pistol, sawed off Rellington pump action shotgun. Clothing: Long gray cloth jacket, brown slacks, red T-shirt, black baseball cap, black tennis shoes. Other: Fugitive from the police and vigilante. John was sitting in his safehouse, an old apartment in the lower levels of the city. Away from the eyes of the law, and those who controlled it. He had just finished his better modifications to his Firefly and his Renall, they were far more reliable now, and would probably never jam if he fired correctly. He had dyed his hair, shaved his beard, and changed his clothes. He would capable of going most places without people recognizing him, however, he needed to get some fake identification to make his new identity as Robert Peterson complete. He also needed to get ahold of some more ammunition, he was low in that area as well. However, to get those two things, he needed money. Money to fuel his vigilante activities, and where better to get it than from those that stole it in the first place? *** John walked into Mega-Pawn, an ironically small pawn shop in the lower levels of town. Inside he saw one enforcer providing protection, the shopkeeper, and a back-door. John drew his Firefly upon arriving and fired, the PVC pipe silencer he had built did its job, and somewhat silenced the shot that went through the enforcer's neck. The enforcer began choking and fell to the ground as John turned around and smashed the shopkeeper with his bat, knocking him out before he could see anything. John then ran to the back door, pushed it open, and heard a shotgun blast go off. "Think you can steal from me, huh you fuck!?" roared the accountant as he fired another blast. John jumped around the corner and fired a shot as the accountant was pumping his shotgun. John fired three shots, two striking the accountant. One in the shoulder, one in the stomach. The accountant fell to the ground as John ran forward, kicking the shotgun out of his hands and executing the accountant with a shot to the head. John then grabbed the shotgun and ran over to the small stack of money on the table. He took off his backpack and shoved all the money inside before grabbing two boxes of shotgun shells and running out the back-door. John grabbed the dead enforcer's revolver, along with the bullets, and shoved them in his pocket before running outside and down the street, the shotgun concealed underneath his long coat. *** Once back at his safehouse, John began working at sawing off the shotgun for easier concealment. Afterwards, he modified it to make it more reliable and took a look at the old revolver. "What a hunk of crap," muttered John, "What the hell am I supposed to do with this?" After doing what he could with it, John put it in a drawer and continued work on the shotgun. When it was finished, he made a makeshift holster for it and went to sleep on his cot, keeping his Firefly under his pillow, his Rellton in his nightstand, and his shotgun in his dresser. On his doors and windows were alarms, anybody who tried to break in would have to have some firepower behind them.
15:30:54 Oct 27th 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Charley-
Dom walked out of his detective agency and looked at his watch. It was getting late, but not late enough to delay his investigation more. He hopped into his car and drove off towards the first stop on his list. The Turdam Research Facility was in the middle levels of Nargess. It was also the location where many cybernetic arms were constructed for patients. Dom took about twenty minutes to get to the facility and parked his car. He walked to the front door of the facility and a guard stopped him. "Sorry, only authorized personnel are allowed beyond this point," said the man. "I was just hoping I could speak to one of the scientists who deals with cybernetic limbs here," said Dom as he showed the guard his identification. The guard looked at the detective's ID and then handed it back. "Wait here, I will ask to see if someone wants you let inside," replied the guard as he walked through the doors and locked them behind him. Five minutes later, the doors were opened and the guard walked Dom inside. "Doctor Kensington said he is willing to talk to you, but he didn't want to be disturbed for too long," said the guard as he walked Dom to a small conference room. Inside was an older man with greying hair and a very thin frame. "Here you go, I will be outside the door to escort you outside when you are done," said the guard as he closed the door. "Doctor Kensington, do you happen to have a list of patients that you have given limbs to here?" asked Dom. "I am sorry detective, but I cannot release information like that. It is a very private matter that we like to practice," replied the scientist. "But doctor, I believe that one of the kidnappers of some of those scientists got his cybernetic arm from here," pleaded Dom. Doctor Kensington's eyes widened after hearing Dom's words and then frowned again. "It is unfortunate, but I am afraid I cannot help you even if I wanted to. I would be fired if I gave out such information and who knows what else could happen to me. Good night detective," said Doctor Kensington as he wrote a small note on a scrap of paper and then stood up. "The guard outside will escort you out, but it was nice talking with you," said the scientist as he shook Dom's hand and left the scrap in the detective's hand. He then walked out of the room without a word and Dom put the scrap into his pocket. "Alright detective, time for you to go," said the guard as he walked Dom to the door and saw him leave. He then walked over to Doctor Kensington and grabbed him by the arm. "You didn't tell him anything which is good. Otherwise, you would have ended up on the side of some slum street. Keep your mouth shut and nothing will happen to you," snarled the guard as he walked to the front door again. Dom got to his car and opened up the scrap of paper and it read: Too dangerous to talk here. Meet in Tollie's Cafe tomorrow afternoon.

Name: John Miller Weapons: Combat knife, baseball bat, Renall 9mm pistol, Firefly 9mm pistol, sawed off Rellington pump action shotgun. Clothing: Brown leather jacket, blue jeans, black T-shirt, black baseball cap, black tennis shoes. Other: Fugitive from the police and vigilante. John woke up to gunshots and jumped out of bed, grabbing his Firefly 9mm from under his bed as he did so. He saw nothing, and realized that they were coming from outside. He walked to his window, pulled back a wooden board, and saw that two street gangs were having a melee with baseball bats, axes, and fists. He saw that one had a pistol, and was firing it at enemy gang members. He was quickly clubbed over the head by an enemy, and the gun was taken. The melee lasted for around two more minutes, before one of the gangs caused the other to retreat. John sighed and looked at his PDA. He had managed to get six hours of sleep, it would more than suffice. He got dressed, holstered his weapons, and looked at his bat. His shorter coat wouldn't allow him to take it, so he left it behind. *** John soon exchanged the paper money he had taken from the pawn shop for credits. Paper money was still widely used as currency in the lower levels, and he had no interest in using it, he was glad that he had set up a phantom CredBank account before he had become a fugitive because his official one was likely to had been frozen, and if not, it was being watched very closely. After doing the exchange, John walked to a small building, and a few hours later he had a fully functional identification card. The whole process took five hours, and afterwards, John realized that it was noon. He looked up, and saw nothing but metal. There was no sunlight in the lower levels, no wonder everybody was so pale. John sighed and returned to his safehouse to begin planning another operation.

Dom's drive home wasn't very eventful except that he noticed his extreme exhaustion. "When did I last sleep?" he groaned as he gripped the wheel. Dom rubbed his eyes and started swerving off the road before jolting upright in his chair and centering his car on the road. It took him several more minutes but he made it home without incident. He dragged his way up to his bed and fell asleep without even taking his shoes off. Dom woke up about nine hours later. He rolled out of his bed and hit the floor with a thud. Dom went to the bathroom and shaved off the stubble that was forming around his face and changed into a clean pair of blue jeans and a grey long sleeved shirt. He pulled his jacket on and walked to his car outside and drove to work. As Dom walked in the door, Martin looked up from where he was sitting. "Where have you been Dom? I was looking all over for you," said Martin. "I was working on looking for that vigilante case, but forgot about the time completely. I almost fell asleep at the wheel on my way back to my home," yawned Dom as he stumbled into his office. He plopped down in his chair and pulled up a map of the city. "Tollie's Cafe huh?" thought Dom as he found the location in the middle section of town. He looked at his watch and saw he had several hours to pass before he had to go meet the man. Dom decided to look through his files and see what work he could get done.
15:32:28 Oct 27th 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Septim-
John walked outside, his next objective would be to gather some better weaponry, and some ammo. He had plenty of tax-free credits now, afterall. He walked outside, and to the local subway several blocks down. After paying the automated machine, John walked into the subway train and sat down. *** Gerald Farilor was staring at the man who had just gotten into the train. He seemed familiar, but from where? Suddenly, it hit him. It was the man he was looking for! His hair was blond, he had dyed it! However, to avoid any trouble, Farilor waited. He would tail him until he was in a private area. Besides, the vigilante was probably heavily armed. *** John stepped off the train and walked out the door, looking behind him like he always did. However, this time somebody was following him. John turned and walked into a bathroom, the tail pretended to walk on. John went into a stall, locked it, and crawled under it to another, locked it, and continued until all of the stalls were locked. He then sat up on a toilet and waited. Fifteen minutes later, he heard footsteps, John peeked his head up to see a private detective with his gun drawn. John aimed his pistol at him. "Don't move!" yelled John, "Pull out your piece and your backup piece and slide them underneath one of the stalls. The private detective did as asked while being covered by John, and John opened the door of the stall. He walked out, keeping his gun trained on the detective. "John Miller, right?" asked the private detective. John grabbed the detective's wallet and looked at the ID. "Farilor, Gerald Farilor," said the detective. "I know," said John as he read the ID, keeping his gun trained on Farilor. He handed the wallet back. He then heard the door open, and put his gun in his pocket. "Hands down," whispered John. Farilor did as asked, and a man walked in. The man looked at the two, and walked up to the only open stall. After urinating, he walked out without washing his hands. "Miller, what the fuck do you think you can do about anything in this shithole," muttered Farilor. "I don't care, I just want to kill as many rotten motherfuckers as I can," said John. "I hate corruption too, but you don't see me killing every bastard I see," replied Farilor, "The city is gunning for you, hard." "I know, and I don't care," replied John. "Wow, devoted aren't you?" asked Farilor. "This isn't an interogation, Detective," said John, "You seem like an honorable man, so I won't knock you out if you didn't see me." "Sounds fine to me," said Farilor, "I like what you're doing, Miller, but you ain't going to solve anything by getting killed." "Unless I go out with a bang," said John as he walked out of the bathroom, leaving Farilor to collect his weapons. John was late for an appointment. *** "I got nines, shotguns, rifles, submachine guns, hell, I even got an assault rifle it it you want it," said the arms dealer. "Got any explosives?" asked John. "Fuck no," said the arms dealer. "Got an Enforcer?" asked John. "What do you think I am? A fucking armory?" asked the arms dealer. "I'll take your K-45 assault rifle, a KSM-25 submachine gun, a Longshot, a K-5 rifle, and a Pulchosi-5," said John. "Fuck, going to war or something?" asked the arms dealer. "Something like that," said John. "Need some ammo? I got lots of ammo," said the arms dealer. "I need lots of ammo," replied John. *** John walked into his safehouse with a long bag full of weapons. He unloaded his bag onto the wall and cleaned each weapon. All were in decent condition, he reminded himself to visit that arms dealer again. After putting the ammo into his drawers, John went to the bathroom and began eating a can of soup he had picked up. John then went to bed, with somewhat larger plans in his head for the next day.
15:33:07 Oct 27th 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus: -Charley-
After Miller had left with his weapons, police were on the scene within an hour. "Police freeze!" screamed a heavily armored officer as he crashed into the dealer's lair and within minutes the place was locked down. "Some weapons were sold, but this scumbag refuses to tell us who he gave them to. We cannot track them because the tracers are missing, but if we watch out in the near future for anyone using those weapons, we can nail him," said one of the officers. *** Name: Dominic Kaine Weapons: A 9mm Phantom Semi-Automatic Pistol Clothing: Black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a tan overcoat. Other: Dom is a good detective wanting to clean up corruption. He has a cybernetic left eye that helps him in his job. Dom looked at his watch and saw that it was time for lunch. He walked out of his office and grabbed his coat. "You going out for lunch Dom?" asked Martin from where he was sitting. "Yeah, just got a little bit," replied Dom. "Care if I join you?" asked Martin as he stood up from his desk. "Sorry Martin, I am gonna be hanging out with some old police buddies of mine," lied Dom. He didn't know if Martin accepted it or not, but he sat down in his desk. "Alright then, maybe another time then," replied Martin with a smile. "Old police buddies huh?" thought Martin but said nothing. He then watched Dom put on his coat and walk out the door. Dom hopped into his car and quickly drove around for a few minutes before finally heading to meet Dr. Kensington at Tollie's Cafe in the middle levels of the city. It took him about twenty minutes, but he parked several blocks away and walked towards his destination. The streets were crammed with cars and all sorts of people flowing every which way. Dom found Tollie's Cafe finally and it was a very pleasant looking place with an seemingly outdoor dining area, but it was really protected from the cold. Seated at one of the tables was Kensington having some lunch, but Dom sat at the table directly behind him. A young waitress with long brown hair walked up to Dom and seemed to adjust her dress slightly before he noticed her. "May I get you a drink sir?" she asked with a bright smile. "Just some water please," replied Dom with a smile and the girl ran off to get him his drink. "So, here I am doctor," said Dom. The noise of the street and crowd would have made any kind of listening device or person overhearing useless even though they were outside and the conversation was inside. "I have a list of men who received cybernetic arms along with their home addresses. The list isn't large so you should not have difficulties checking each one," said Kensington as he slipped the list into Dom's jacket pocket. "Thank you for you help, I won't forget this," said Dom as the young waitress walked over and gave him his glass of water. "Would you like to order now?" she asked pleasantly. "No thank you," replied Dom as he drink his glass of water and walked towards the door of the cafe. He slid his T-Card on the machine and left an above average tip for the cute waitress, but nothing extraordinary. Dom then promptly walked outside and back to his car. He drove to his house and opened up the list to find the names and addresses. Two names stood out on the list and it was a man named Walter Devore and another man named Jeremy Bosh. Both of the men were police officers that Dom never really liked and they both become private detectives for unknown reasons. "I guess I know who I will be asking first," said Dom to himself as he folded up the list and then drove back to his office.

Name: John Miller Weapons: -Combat knife -Baseball bat -Renall 9mm pistol -Firefly 9mm pistol -Sawed-off Rellington pump action shotgun -K-45 assault rifle -KSM-25 submachine gun, -KSR-20 "Longshot" sniper rifle -K-5 rifle -Pulchosi-5 combat shotgun -A really crappy revolver Clothing: Black hooded sweatshirt, blue jacket, blue jeans, brown T-shirt, black baseball cap, black tennis shoes. Other: Fugitive from the police and vigilante. Miller woke up and ate a pork chop before grabbing his Firefly, his KSM-25, his combat knife, and his sawed off shotgun. He put his pistol in his ankle holster, his submachine gun in a breast holster, his sawed off shotgun in the makeshift holster, and the combat knife on his belt. He grabbed a few clips and bullets for each and walked out the door. He walked down the street from his apartment, and turned into an alleyway. The person he had seen following him followed him into the alleyway, and John turned around, pulling out his submachine gun. He aimed it at the person just as the person put his hands up. "Hey man! Hey man! I got nothing man! I got nothing!" yelled the person who was following him. John walked up, keeping his gun aimed at the man. "Why were you following me?" asked John. "I got no beef with you!" yelled the man. "Why!?" roared John. "Don't kill me man! I wasn't gonna do nothing!" yelled the man before laughing maniacally, looking over John's shoulder. John turned around, keeping his gun aimed at the strange man, and saw around fifteen deformed looking men armed with weapons ranging from bats to chainsaws. "Holy fuck," said John as he executed the first man and turned around, firing a spray of bullets at the wave of deformed people, however, even when shot, they did not scream. They simply limped on, not feeling the pain. John aimed at their heads and fired, slowly backing out of the alley. The spray of bullets was inaccurate, and few actually hit their mark. John counted nine as he ran out of the alley and into the street, concealing his weapon as he ran. He jumped underneath a set of wooden stairs as the deformed people ran out, looking around, and strangely enough, sniffing the air. One looked right at where John was, and John ran out, rushing down the street at full speed. John smashed into the door of an abandoned warehouse and ran inside. The mutants followed. *** "Come out! Come out!" yelled a mutant bluntly as he walked around. Suddenly, his head was blown clean off by John's sawed off shotgun. The noise attracted the mutants, and John fired off another shell into a deformed's face before rushing down the narrow corridors of the warehouse. They followed, and John drew his submachine gun, crouching and firing on their legs. They all fell down, and began crawling at John. John got up, drew his pistol, and began firing, striking each one in the head. The seven deformed were killed, and John ran outside, wondering what the fuck just happened. Instead of going to kill a corrupt cop, which was his original plan, John ran back to his safehouse, locked the door, and barricaded the windows. He then made notes of everything in his PDA before sitting down in his chair with his combat shotgun at the ready, not knowing that the fifteen he had met were a rarity in the upper-lower parts of the city.
22:18:33 Nov 13th 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Charley- Dom walked in the door and immediately found Hugo, Farilor, and Xarxes near the entrance. "Hey, what's going on?" asked Dom as he moved past them. "Just going out to search for this Miller guy again. Farilor found him but couldn't bring him in," said Xarxes. "Hey, he snuck up on me first but at least he didn't kill me!" argued Farilor. "Either way, we are going to search the lower levels for a few hours," said Hugo. "Did you give them the new weapons Hugo?" asked Dom. "Yeah, the submachine guns we got are in the car. Some shotguns are in the supply closet with another submachine gun stored in there as well," replied Hugo as he herded his two followers out the door. Dom walked into his office and sat down in front of his computer. It only took him a few seconds to get directions to the home's of Walter Devore and Jeremy Bosh. He memorized it using his eye's micro-memory bank and turned off his computer. Dom walked towards the supply closet and also noticed that Martin was not in the office. "I wonder where he is," thought Dom as he opened up the closet and pulled out a Typhosian Repeater, which was a lightweight military designed submachine gun that the police typically used. It was also very compact which made handling it a breeze. Dom grabbed several clips of ammunication and tucked his own Pike sidearm in the small of his back. He then closed up the locker and walked out to his car after locking up the office. Dom hopped into his car and drove off towards Walter Devore's home, which was on the lower levels of the middle section of town. It only took Dom about ten minutes to get to the man's house and was glad when he didn't find him there. He packed several blocks away after driving past and walked to the backdoor of the apartment. Dom checked the door and found that there was a security system active, but it wasn't one that he would have trouble with. Dom pulled out a small device from his pocket and tweaked it slightly until the automatic lock on the door snapped open. He opened up the door and stepped inside now that the security system was deactivated thanks to some technology he invented for breaking into criminal lairs. Dom walked around the house and found several hidden weapons that Walter kept around for protection and placed them in a backpack that he brought along. "Thank you for the pistol's Walter," chuckled Dom as he put three Enforcer pistols into his backpack. He then walked upstairs to a room above the front door and waited for Walter to come home. Dom opened up his backpack and pulled out some water. "This could take awhile," he sighed.

Other: Fugitive from the police and vigilante. John got up from where he was sitting several minutes later and reloaded his pistol, his submachine gun, and his sawed off shotgun before holstering them and walking outside. Everything was normal, he saw not one deformed man, John then walked up to a random woman. "I ran into a few men who looked a bit deformed a while back," said John. "A few? Hell, one is rare up this far. But yeah, the people in the lower lower levels are usually fucked up," said the woman, "You're not pale, means your from above, who'd you piss off?" "Nobody," said John before walking off, glad that he wouldn't be running into the deformed often. *** John drove back home in an old muscle car that he had purchased from a garage. It would need some fixing up, but it would work for his purposed. After driving back to his house, John activated the security system, walked into his house, grabbed his combat shotgun and his assault rifle, along with ammo, put them in a long bag, and walked back outside. After loading both up, John drove off to the poorer section, he had some cleaning to do. *** A large apartment building that served as a crackhouse was across the street from John, and after John heard a gunshot, he decided it would be best to go in. He grabbed his long bag and walked across the street, and once inside the alleyway, John unloaded his bag, slinging his assault rifle across his back and holding his combat shotgun at the ready, he ran in the backdoor. Inside were several men and women, all doing large amounts of drugs. "Holy shit!" yelled one as John walked in, "Don't kill me!" John raised his shotgun and fired three shots, killing the three men and women inside. He then turned, as he heard footsteps, and saw a man walk in. "Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!" yelled the man as he turned and ran, slamming the door behind him. John walked up, blew the door open with his shotgun, and pulled out his pistol, shooting the man in the back. John then walked up as the man attempted to crawl away, and blew his head off. John then heard running, and turned to see a child running away. John suddenly felt sick, and heard running down the stairs. He looked to see a man running down the stairs with a pistol, the man raised it, only to trip. The trigger was pulled, and the bullet struck the child in the head. The man fell down the stairs, obviously high, and John walked up, a burning rage inside him. He pulled out his knife, and ripped out the man's fingernails one by one. "Fuck! FUCK! STOP! STOP STOP!" yelled the man in pain. John then chopped off the man's fingers, hearing screaming coming from him, and grabbed the man's mouth. Holding it open, he put his knife inside and cut out the man's tongue before cutting out his eyes. Leaving the man there screaming, John reloaded his gun, grabbed the pistol, and took the ammo clip before taking off the slide and throwing the pieces in opposite directions. Upstairs, there were several druggies, which he slaughtered. He then saw the final door, it was a pair of double-doors, and John decided to be careful. He went to the side, and shot the lock. The door opened up, and gunshots were fired wildly. When John heard the gun click, he jumped around the corner and aimed his shotgun at a man in a silk suit. "Holy fuck! Dude, listen, I gotsome money!" he yelled before John grabbed him and dragged him to a window. It was only two stories down, that wouldn't do. *** John dragged the drug dealer up several flights of stairs as he screamed. On the top floor, John opened it up to see a single druggie passed out on the floor, John blew his head off, and dragged the dealer to the window. It was five stories now, much better. John blew the glass apart with his shotgun, lifted up the dealer, and threw him out. A loud scream was heard, followed by a crunch. John looked out the window and saw the dealer down several stories, dead. Glad for the lack of police in the lower levels, John walked down the stairs, and after completely cleansing the building, he got back in his car and drove back home, somewhat disappointed that he never used his assault rifle.

Other: Dom is a good detective wanting to clean up corruption. He has a cybernetic left eye that helps him in his job. Dom sat in a chair by the upstairs window and was almost asleep when Walter pulled up in his car. Dom got up and stretched his arms before readying his pistol and walking to the bottom of the stairs. He had turned the security system back on partly, but made it so that he was undetected by it. His eye could also detect any sensor points that would trigger alarms, but most were at the doors and windows. The lock of the front door clicks and the security system turned off seconds after that. Walter walked into the apartment and closed the door behind him. He took off his black jacket and revealed a white t-shirt and khaki pants underneath. Walter then walked to his kitchen and opened up the refrigerator. Just as he was pulling out a soda, Dom placed the barrel of his gun against the back of Walter's head. "Don't move or turn around Walter," said Dom. Walter remained completely still, but began to crane his head around until Dom moved the pistol to be right in his face. "I said don't turn around," repeated Dom. "Who are you and what are you doing in my home?" asked Walter. "I came to ask some questions," replied Dom, "A few days ago, some scientists were kidnapped. A witness reported seeing you following one of those scientists." Walter froze and Dom could sense the man's mind racing. "I don't know what you are talking about. It could have been any man. There are many people who look like me!" replied Walter. "Ah, but the witness reported seeing the man having a cybernetic arm. Kind of like yours," replied Dom. Walter twitched slightly and then spun around rapidly. Dom fired his pistol at Walter's head, but the officer's cybernetic limp moved up and blocked the bullet. Dom fired several more shots as Walter charged at him, but only one dodged the enhanced limb. The bullet went between Walter's fingers and glanced off of his cheek, and the man spun to the ground out of reflex. He then threw himself into the air using the superior strength of his arm and then whipped his arm backwards, catching Dom in the gut and throwing him across the room. Dom broke through a wooden table and groaned as he quickly got to his feet and drew two of the Enforcers that he stole from Walter. He began firing one after the other at Walter as he charged, and three bullets tore through his legs. Walter dropped to the ground and began crawling until Dom aimed both of the pistols at him. "Talk Walter or die," snarled Dom. "You are in way over your head. I recognize you now Dom," said Walter. "Then I guess you better talk before I kill you then," replied Dom. "The people in charge of this operation are big players Dom. You don't have a chance of doing anything even if I confess," replied Walter. Dom said nothing for a moment and then shot Walter in his shoulder where his limb connected to his body. The limb went limp since the muscles and circuits were not connecting and sparks began jolting him. "Goddamnit Dom! The man who sent me to kidnap one of the scientists was a mob boss named Vincent Culthson. He is a big guy you don't want to mess with! Those scientist were kidnapped for a reason and what they are working on is huge, but I don't know anything else, I swear!" pleaded Walter. "Is Jeremy Bosh one of the other kidnappers?" asked Dom. "Yeah he is! Just let me live, please!" begged Walter until Dom put a bullet in his head. He then wiped down his pistols and sprayed them with a special product to kill any DNA that could identify him. Dom then proceeded to quickly search the apartment for five minutes before leaving the way he came. Any wounds to his body were hidden by his clothing, but he had a slight limb that he worked to hide. Dom hopped into his car and began heading off towards Bosh's house to pay him a visit.

Other: Fugitive from the police and vigilante. John woke up that night and got up, looking at his bulletin board. On it were pictures of several men he had killed, along with several still alive. Among the still alive was a man he was planning on killing that night, Jeremy Bosh, a corrupt cop and a man who had made life very difficult for John as a vigilante. John grabbed his sawed-off shotgun, his combat knife, his Firefly, and his Renall, holstered and sheathed them, and walked out the door. Name: Vincent Chase Weapons: Terzom-4 handgun Clothing: Black jumpsuit, black ski mask, black gloves. Other: Both a ladies man and a hit-man who loves his car. Vincent was standing outside the home of Jeremy Bosh, a man who his superiors wanted dead. Vincent never asked questions, because it was why this man would die, he probably knew too much. Vincent had walked from the subway to his destination to avoid his car being identified, with a smile, Vincent waited for the light in Jeremy's bedroom to go off.

Other: Dom is a good detective wanting to clean up corruption. He has a cybernetic left eye that helps him in his job. Dom drove quickly from the house of Walter Devore to the house of Jeremy Bosh. He stopped his car several blocks away and walked towards the back door of the house after cutting through an area behind it. Dom grinned as he saw the exact same security system as Walter's and disabled it, but only for a second. Bosh wouldn't know unless he had his security panel right in his face, and the chances of that were rediculously low. Dom then slowly opened the door and drew his Pike from his back holster and began searching for Bosh within his two story home.
21:36:13 Nov 16th 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Septim- John approached the house, and not noticing the man watching from across the street, John walked around to the back of the house, seeing a small area cut open. "What the hell?" thought John as he crawled through the area and saw the back door already open. John drew his Firefly and held it at the ready, walking up to the house. *** "Who the fuck is this clown?" asked Vincent as he drew his Terzom and ran across the street, he pressed a button on his wristpad that disabled the security system, but he discovered that the system was already disabled. Vincent kicked open the front door and saw a man not five feet away with a Pike pistol. Vincent raised his pistol, the man raised his, and they stood aiming their pistols at each other. *** John walked through the back door and saw two men aiming their pistols at each other. John shot the one who had his face towards him, hitting him in the arm and causing him to fall out the door and run off. John then aimed his pistol at the man who had his back turned to him. "Don't move," ordered John. Suddenly, a man came running down the stairs and the man who had his back turned to John turned and shot him in the shoulder, causing him to fall down the stairs and land at the bottom, still alive. "Drop your gun, now!" roared John. The man dropped his Pike pistol, and John walked up, searching him and finding the Enforcers. He grabbed all of the pistols and backed away a bit. "Well Detective Kaine, I wonder what you're doing here," said John.

04:30:24 Nov 18th 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Charley- "I could ask you the same, but since you have your gun on me I guess I have no choice. I am following a lead to find out who kidnapped those scientist and this man is one of the kidnappers. If you would let me interrogate him first before you go killing him, that would be very helpful to me," said Dom as he held his hands where John could see him.
"I see that you are the detective who the police are after as well." -Septim-
"John Miller, at your service," replied John, "Go ahead, but don't try anything else."
-Charley-
"Right..." mumbled Dom as he slowly moved towards Bosh, who was bleeding from his shoulder.
"Alright scumbag, talk or I will make this a living hell for you," said Dom as he dragged Bosh into the middle of the floor. "Gah shit! I can't feel my arm!" screamed Bosh who was quickly kicked in the face to shut him up. "Keep your mouth shut or I will have the detective here shoot you in the knees. Now, tell me who your superiors are," ordered Dom. "Gah...alright alright! We were told to do this job by a man named Dalone. He is one of the larger boss intelligence guys. Someone gave him a job to do and he hired us, okay?" replied Jeremy as he winced through the pain. "Where are the scientists being held? Where did you take them?" asked Dom. "I don't know...some play in the fringe high levels. Some place on the fringe of the city. Some park way up on the rooftop. We just left them there and some masked guys took them. Then we were paid and sent on our way! That is all I know, I swear!" said Jeremy Bosh. "Which part of town was this fringe area?" asked Dom. "I don't know...north I think," replied Jeremy. "Alright, that is all I need to know," said Dom as he moved away from Bosh. -Septim-
Bosh's head exploded as John pulled the trigger on his recently drawn sawed-off shotgun. John them pumped it and aimed it at Dominic.
"Alright, I've pieced together a bit. I know you head a Detective Agency, any of them know?" asked John. -Charley-
"Any of who know? My co-workers? No one knows I am here but me. If you are talking about someone else, I have no clue," replied Dom. He then paused for a moment before glancing at John, who was still aiming at him.
"If you plan on killing me, then you are only helping the man you just killed," added Dom. -Septim-
"I don't plan on killing any good cops," replied John, "It's a safety thing, me aiming this gun. I plan to avoid prison, and now that I know the things that you didn't want your co-workers knowing, you might not be beyond killing me. You did good by not telling your guys, this city is rotten to the core, never know who you can trust. However, I know now, that means several things, but one thing it means is that I can help."
-Charley-
"I am sure some of the people who work for me can be trusted, I just don't know which ones would be willing to help us if that is what you want. I just want to find those kidnapped scientists because I feel something bad coming. I am trying to figure out what they could all do if working together, and the only thing that comes to my mind is a weapon. Do you think the two of us would be able to figure out what is behind this? I now know two names: Vincent Culthson and someone named Dalone," said Dom as he continued to watch the shotgun with unease.
04:30:49 Nov 18th 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Septim-
"I'll dig up what I can," replied John as he lowered his shotgun, "I'm sure you'll search this house, you can find me at Lucky's Apartments in the lower levels if you find more, I know where to find you." With that, John ran out the back and through the hole that Dom had left in the fence, leaving Dom to search and clean up the scene. *** Vincent Chase walked down the street, his arm in extreme pain. He hadn't taken an emergency kit, a stupid decision, he had thought that the job would be easy. He fell against a wall on a street corner and pulled out his cell phone with his good arm. He dialed in several numbers and held it up to his ear. "Yeah, boss, this is Vince," gasped Vincent, "Job went bad, I need help." "Who? I don't know a Vince," replied the familiar voice. "You fuck! You know who I am! I need fucking help!" yelled Vince. "Goodbye," said the voice before hanging up. "Fuck!" yelled Vince as he dialed another number. "Hello?" asked Dr. Joe Zerim. "Doc! I need help," gasped Vince once again. "Vince? Shit! Where are you?" asked the Doctor. Vince gave him the address. "I'll be right there! Try not to die!" ordered the Doctor. A few minutes later, a makeshift ambulance-truck arrived and Zerim, along with another man, ran out to the bleeding Vince. They picked him up onto a stretcher, put him in the van, and drove off.
04:31:40 Nov 18th 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Charley- Dom watched John leave and then worked at pulling his bullet out of the wall behind where Jeremy had been when he shot him. He put the bullet in his pocket and worked at cleaning up the area for five more minutes before racing back to his car several blocks away. Dom then drove home normally and remembered that John stole his pistols and cursed to himself. He then took his submachine gun with him into his house for safe keeping and washed up before sleeping.
-Septim-
Instead of going to his safehouse to rest, John went in another direction, to Kaine Detective Agency. Outside, he approached a payphone and slid his card, he dialed a number, and an automated voice came up. "Name of business?" asked the voice. "Kaine Detective Agency," replied John. "Kaine Detective Agency, Detective Anderson speaking," said a man's voice. "My name is Roger Barlem, I'm at 3449 Trelos Road in the middle levels, men are in my home!" screamed John, faking an alarmed voice with decent accuracy. "Call the police! We'll be right over!" yelled Anderson before hanging up. John backed away from the payphone and stepped into a shadowy corner. Two men stormed out of the Agency, a man that John assumed to be Anderson and Farilor, the Detective that John had met in the subway. They got into a car and drove off, and John walked across the street and into the alley next to the agency. He then jumped onto a dumpster and looked through a window. The office within was larger than most, and the security system was deactivated at the moment due to the single Detective inhabiting the building. John slid a thin piece of well cut metal into the crack of the window and jiggled it around before pulling the window open. He then jumped through, landing softly, and placed a package containing a few Enforcer pistols and a Pike pistol in Kaine's desk before jumping back out the window and walking off. *** "You happen to know of any buildings with garden-roofs in the fringe? I've always wanted to visit one," said John as he sat in a bar. "Not many of those around, and not many pay attention, my memory is a bit slow," said the bartender. John slid his card and pressed the "50 credits" button. "Ah! Now I remember!" exclaimed the bartender, "Only one in the fringe that I can think of is the Greendome Building." "Good, thank you," said John before walking out. *** John walked up to the Greendome Building, it was just opening, not many people were inside. John knocked on the glass door, now wearing a business suit that he had purchased down the street. A woman approached, and opened a sliding grill slightly. "We're closed, come back in an hour," said the woman. "I'm here to arrange a meeting for my superiors," said John. "Superiors? What are you?" asked the woman. "An associate of an organization that you'd best not know the name of," replied John. "Open up, I need to see the dome area." The woman opened up, and John walked in. "You look familiar," said the woman. "I get that a lot, I've been on the news a few times," replied John. "Famous eh?" asked the woman. "You could say that," replied John as they stepped into the elevator. The elevator took them up, and once at the top level, John stepped out and turned to face the woman. She had a look of shock on her face. "You're...you're...you're..." she was saying. "A very scary man," replied John before grabbing her, throwing her to the floor, and pistol whipping her in the head, feeling quite bad about doing so. He then began searching around the dome quickly, finding several cigarette butts and a matchbook. He took all the evidence he could get and ran to the elevator. *** The escape was narrow, a few seconds after he left, police swarmed the area, but he was confident. One of the butts looked handwrapped, and that meant there was a possibility that he could gather DNA from the cigarette butt. When he returned to his safehouse, he began going through the process.
06:06:39 Dec 9th 09 - Prince Charley The Kitten: -Charley- Dom woke up early in the morning and turned on the news. The first thing he saw was a sighting of Miller at the Greendome building.
"Son of a bitch! That asshole just had to go and steal MY lead!?" raged Dom when he finished watching the report. He punched the wall of his room and almost broke his hand doing so. "I will fucking rip his balls off for this!" he shouted before dressing himself and getting into his car. He quickly drove to work and arrived before anyone else was there. Dom walked to his desk and went to search for one of his backup pistols when he found all of his weapons. He thought nothing of it and pocketed all of them and left immediately. Dom thought about where John would be and began driving towards it. After about fifteen minutes, he pulled up several blocks away and walked in a back door after disabling any security devices set up. "Where is that fucker? He thinks he can steal information from me and then go after MY leads!? We may be allied, but he sure as hell isn't going to kill my investigation due to his fucking stupidity," thought Dom as he moved inside. -Septim-

Other: Fugitive from the police and vigilante. "Detective Kaine, I was wondering when you'd show up," said John as he walked in from outside, having waited for Kaine to go in. "I was wondering where you were hiding. Since when did you think it was your job to go after my leads?" replied Dom. "If I had attempted to follow my own, it would have taken more time. Valuable time to certain people," said John. "I do not need you possibly causing the trail to those scientists to be lost. Your face is well known in this city now because of your murderous rampages in the slums as a vigilante. I am not well known, and if someone asks a question, they will just hear that I am a detective. You cannot go many places without drawing attention. What will the kidnappers think if they know that you are going to their meeting places and drop points?" asked Dom. "What will the kidnappers think when they find out that two of the people who kidnapped the scientists are dead?" asked John. "They can think anything they want, but they will have no connection to me. They will probably assume it is you again since you are the most well known person killing off all of the people connected to corruption. I cannot afford to have those scientists endangered because of the growing attention. We need to keep a low profile and hunt down things quietly or someone up top is going to turn his attention on us and nothing will protect you or myself then. They control the city and hiding in the slums won't protect you," replied Dom. "What would your approach have been at the Greendome Building, might I ask?" asked John. "Not to go in there and knock out people! It takes technology to fight technology. There IS equipment out there to combat surveillance devices," replied Dom. "Roof-top gardens in the middle leves are rare, and odds are they get good business. That means they have good equipment, and if they have good equiptment, odds are you wouldn't be able to get through them. Say somebody discovered that the security system was malfunctioning and sent out an alert. The police would be dispatched, and there's a good chance you would be identified, if not caught," said John. "John, I am not sure where you have been for the past ten years or so, but technology has become VERY advanced. Heck, I made made some of my own and found that it is very effective at infiltrating places for detective work. I think you need to come by my apartment so I can fix you up with some gear, but first I need you to make sure that you do not go around getting more attention," replied Dom. "I don't know how effective I would be at a low profile, Kaine. What the hell would I do? Sit around and clean my guns?" asked John. "You would just have to keep your killings a little more secretive. Try to kill silently instead of running around having gunfights. I can help you along with that since I have had to learn stealth as a detective and ex-police officer doing undercover stuff," replied Dom "I've made a few supressors, and I've used one once," replied John, "And I'm not going to be doing much slaughter anymore. Doesn't solve anything, these guys replace themselves quite easily. To really hurt corruption, I need to work at those who are actually pulling strings." "And the effective way of doing that is by not killing the middlemen like you or I may have done. We have to aim for the head, but first we need to figure out who that is. We also need to find those scientists...something doesn't feel right," said Dom as he began thinking and pacing the floor. "I watched the news, and have been thinking. With all of their professions, they could either be designing a weapon, or working with cybernetics. I don't know why they'd be kidnapped for working on cybernetics, so I'm guessing it's a weapon they're designing," said John. "Take these," said John as he pulled several sheets out of his coat, "At the park, I found several cigarette butts and a napkin. The napkin had been used to wipe prints off of a weapon, and that means that the area I searched in was probably where the deal went down. There were no fingerprints on the napkin, but there were on a handrolled cigarette butt. They're on this sheet, I need you to run a scan on them, find out who they belong to. I don't have access to the police database anymore." "Right, I will see what I can do," said Dom as he took the sheets from John. "I'll wait quietly for you to contact me," said John before walking up the apartment's stairs. *** Once Dominic had left the safehouse, John began cleaning his weapons. After that was done, he began building supressors. After each of his weapons had three, he leaned back, bored stiff, and decided to go to sleep.

He found that he had arrived just before Martin. "Hey Dom, early start for you isn't it?" asked Martin, noticing that Dom had come from the opposite direction of his home. "Just woke up early and got breakfast. Couldn't sleep in any longer," yawned Dom as he unlocked the office and disabled the security system. "So what have you been up to lately? You have been running all over the place," asked Martin curiously, not wanting to seem like he was pressing Dom. "I have been getting calls from people wanting to deal with me and no one else. For once I wish they would call you guys. I have been called to do things that a detective shouldn't do, but it is getting us money as you see," replied Dom. Martin did know that a number of groups had made payments for help that Dom had given, and he was working on tracing who they were to make sure. "Sounds like you are the person that does all of the odd jobs," replied Martin with a chuckle. Dom walked into his office and closed the door before sitting down at his desk. He pulled out the papers from his pocket and began working at finding who the fingerprints belonged to. It took about two hours before he got a name. "Michael Felmont...deceased as of two years ago?" muttered Dom as he read the description to himself quietly. He wrote down the last known residence of the man and cursed silently. "So, a dead man rolled the cigarette...? Can't be, these records must be false," he assumed before putting all of the papers and information into his pocket and erasing his search records. Dom then began working on finding out who the men named Vincent Culthson and Dalone were. -Septim-

The guards were also on high alert looking for him, as he was probably the most wanted man in the city. Staying alive and free was something that was difficult to accomplish, and going out into the mid-levels wasn't helping his chances.
