01:33:53 Feb 16th 08 - Mr. Killer: *The winds is blowing. A little too much, Killer thought. The trees were swaying and threatening to break. If he wasn't in their shelter he would be blown away. He wondered where this school was. He'd got a map from the school through his parents. Apparantely, this school taught magic. People who wanted to be learned in magic before had to be tutored, which was expensive. Only rich people used to be mages, or wizards or whatever they called themselves. But now, you could go to this school apparently, and any poor person such as himself, could get taught magic. He wondered what it would be like. However, he couldn't find the place as it was, and he had better hurry, only the first thousand or so would be admitted apart from nearby tutored persons, who had some magic, would be accepted, until the school was built bigger. It was apparently a very large building, and Killer thought it should be easy to spot. He stumbled across a group of young people, around his own age. They were grouped up to find the school, he though, at a guess. There was two adults among them. Killer knew adults would also be going to the school, for this opportunity to get taught magic, which they never would have got before. A cloaked man came across to them in a stride, and asked them politely if they were going, perchance, to the school of magic. They said they were, and followed after them. Killer padded after them. They travelled for a while, and finally came to a huge building. Killer gaped. The man led them in. here, he grandly announced: "This is the school of magic, the first in this country, the great Alclamant, the second in the world after Grywisygwl. There will be others soon, but we can teach magic slightly ahead of them, and so make this country better than other." Killer made a face at this. The man continued, oblivious "This school will teach magic of all sorts. We will now go and register each of you, and then the main donator of money to this school's building, and one of the teachers, will give a short lecture about magic. You will not require any books for this school, but will probably need parchment unless you can commit all to memory, which would be tough indeed without many times practise at it. Some of the magic will be dangerous, some not. All should be used to benefit people, not harm them," with this, he led them to another room...* Ok, so you are basically new to magic(anyone signing-up, no exceptions.) So, SIGN-UPS(I'll explain everything more fully tomorrow, basically you learn magic, and then buzz off and do something else with your magic)

22:36:53 Feb 16th 08 - Mr. Killer: Ok, I'm going to explai it now, you can join again if you so wish. Basically, you spend a bit of time in the schools, learning magic. You won't have to do anything specific for a day usually, but all the students have to work, on a nearby farm, or doing other things to pay your fee. You can use your magic, but if anything goes wrong with you magic there could be svere penalties. Duels Ok, an important part. This is set in around the sort of time before gunpowder was used, but in a different world, but it's basically like that. So, there is swords and bows and other weapons you can get, but it's hard. Anyway, the main thing is magic. So, you fight with magic, to the death if you so wish, to uphold your honour(or other things...). No teachers will stop you, but both participants have to agree to it. So, duels are fought out with the magic you have, and then one loses and one wins. One rarely dies. Jobs While your in the school, you have to some work around he country-side, mostly farming, You don't have to mention it much, but it takes up some of your day. After you leave the school, you can get a job as anything you like, as long as you make it reasonible for the time. Magical Artifacts Right, there is a few magical artifacts, not many, firstly 1. Wands. These help cast magic, slightly not much. It's just a small piece of stick with runes inscribed on it. Most beginners have one of these. 2. Staffs. When you get more experienced you get a staff. These are better than wands, by far. It's a long piece of stick, with runes on it, and a gem on top. These are hard to get though. 3. Talismans. Increase your magic level, of one or all elements(<-- All the magical categories, if you get me, more about it in my next post anyway). 4. Amulets. Defend against magical attacks. Two types, passive, which defends you from magical attacks only, and active, which defends from magicaly attacks, and takes some of the magical power and gives it to the wearer. | ||||

Fire - Fire spells, and heating spells. Water - Water spells, and freezing spells(I know it's not generally associated with cold, but ice is...) Earth - Earth spells, and nature spells. Wind - Wind spells, and teleporting. Energy - Electricity spells, and energy spells(Like, gives you energy to run longer...). Healing - Healing spells. Mind - Mind spells. That's it. I'll give some spells tomorrow, and explain imps/djinnis/demons. I'm just going to use latin words for the spells, which I'll just translate on one of these translator things on the internet, so accurate or not, I don't care. It is between 1 and 100, your level, for each of the above 'elements', and you can cast the spells only once you've reached whatever level. Whenever you're casting a spell, just say the words given in latin, or a jumble of words, which I will use when I can't get even a crap translation. | ||||

16:01:07 Feb 17th 08 - Mr. Killer: 30 mins = half an hour. Yes, you can practice more than one element, you can practise all of them if you so wish. There is no extra classes for an element, all one class each a day. You can't have more than one class of something, but you can look over an element's spell everyday, get more points for an element that way(not many). However, you can go to another school that will be opening once you finish basic training in this school. The next school is a more advanced school, and you can learn whatever you want in it, but you have to get level 10 in all elements, and at least one 40 level element. | ||||

17:11:22 Feb 17th 08 - Mr. Killer: I'm not going to bother with the Latin for the spells. I'm going to explain summoning now. Summoning Right, this is for summoning imps/djinni/demons. Necromancy is under darkness spells, and is different. You can also summon a creature for each of the elements with spells, but that's different too. This is for summoning imps(level 1-40), djinni (level 41-80) and demons (level 81-100). They are either of all the elements, or of one elements only. It takes a whole day to summon one, no matter if it's a level 1 imp, or level 100 demon. You can summon each imp/djinni/demon(they're all the same really, just get more powerful in ascending order. Imps are pretty useless, djinni are good, and demons are excellent. They can cast spells the same level or lower level than themselves of their one particular element if they are of that one element, or if they are of all elements, they can cast spells 10 levels below them or spells below that, in any element. They can also shape-shift, and I'll give the different things they can shape-shift into, usually animals of some kind. There'll be different ones for each element, and the ones of all elements can shape-shift into any of the shape-shifts of the other elements, as long as the level for the shape-shift is ten levels below them. There'll be, five or so for each element. | ||||

You get 50 mp per day, and for duels you get a new 50 mp, but only for the duel. No, you can't spend extra mp on a spell or summoning to make the effect/summoned creature more powerful, as some of the spells take only a few seconds to cast. As for summoning, you can dismiss whatever summoned creature you have, but not enhance them. However, over time(a long time) imps/djinnnis and demons increase their level, but it's a long time, and you might be lucky to see a level rise every week, but more probably if it's a low level. If it so happens that it increases over your elemental/average level, you lose the imp/djinn/demon. I also forgot to mention that each imp/djinn/demon takes up a certain amount of mp per day, like so. 1-20 level imp = 1mp, 21-40 level imp = 2mp, 41-60 level djinn = 3mp, 61-80 level djinn = 4 mp, and 81-100 level demon = 5mp per day. | ||||

Otherwise you could get a hell of a lot for one day. *The school opens officailly. The snow is beginning to fall outside. The head count of students is 2,495 and of which, 1,729 are complete beginners. Killer wandered into the hall along with all the rest, and listened to the head teacher ramble on for an hour about how he was appreciative of how they came to the school, and Killer just tuned out after a while. He then explained what magic was, which he'd already heard the other day, but listened again. He, and half the other students sat up intently when the old teacher began explaining duels. "Duels are a part of this school, however, whenever you are duelling you must be careful not to kill the opponent. It's generally harder than you think anyway. Weapons other than staffs and wands are not allowed in the school, and if you use a weapon other than a staff or wand in a duel you will be severly punished. You are only to use spells in duels in this school, and can use imps, djinnis and any demons you may have summoned. You must duel in the duelling halls however, and they will not be open until next week. I will give you a demonstration with one of the other teachers when they open," and he winked at this. "You may decide on the rules and prizes between whoever you are duelling with. We may have a duelling competition every once in a while. "School will officially begin tomorrow, but all we will do is show you around the school tomorrow. For the rest of the day, you can feast, have fun and sleep. You will be shown around the various workplaces in the nearby towns that you will have to do to pay your fees on Thursday, and then begin next week. Now, for some grub." he exclaimed, as the masses of food were brought in. "Have whatever you like, but it won't be like this every day, not by a long shot." the teacher finished, sitting down to a roasted chicken leg. Killer wondered what he would eat, and just grabbed everythig in reach and ate until he was sated. He then wandered outside where a dozen kids were already. He was older than all of them, the older ones stayed inside. He picked up some snow and pelted it at the others. He was looking forward to the year ahead, as long as they didn't have to learn too much.* | ||||

Shield spells are all at level 1, and become stronger as you level up. They only protect against the element of which it is, and so your less vulnerable to attacks of your own element(as the shields are stronger if you have a high level in that element) The levels at the left are the level needed to cast. MP used to cast spell is shown at the end. Shields last the whole day, but aren't particuraly strong. Other spells last various amounts of times, not very long. 17:42:09 Feb 20th 08 - Mr. Killer: *The students are ushered into their classrooms. Killer sits upright, looking carefully at what they write and listening carefully to what they say. First off, it's light. The teacher goes through what light does, and Killer dozes off, after having a sleepless night because of excitement, and bad beds. He wakes(well... not wakes as such...) to a shining light in front of him. He hurls himself backward out of the brightness. "And that, is how effective light is." the teacher says, and the students giggle, paart from Killer, who has a sore head. "I trust you'll listen in future." the teacher says annoyingly. He goes on to blather a bit more. "Now, I have you for two classes, as we are explaining the magic of elements, and everyday use, in the first class, and in the second, you will get a demonstration. Now I will start the demonstration of a light shield, as that's all you will be able to do." The teacher speaks a few words aloud, and a bright shieldy thing appears all around him, and dims beyond seeing. The students attempt to do the same, a few managing it, Killer was one of the majority completely lost. They managed to get it, most of them, after the teacher said the words again. They were of some strange language, and the teacher explained why. "A foreign language is needed to create magic, and it is very difficult to comprehend..." the teacher grinned at the faces around him. "But you can use any language, as they're all foreign to somebody, and it doesn't matter what language anyway. However, you have to speak the words while concentrating on the magic as well, though it's easy to create a shield. You have to speak the proper words though, or near enough to what the spell is though, and it helps to use a language unknown to the opponent. It's mostly the concentration on the actual magic though, and it's easier for some than for others," he added meaningfully, looking at Killer, who was one of the only ones that hadn't got the spell right. Killer then managed to get it right, and a nice yellow glow came around him, then faded. He smiled at the teacher's expression, then quickly took it off. The other classes went just as badly, darkness as bad as light, and water and fire were little better. Killer wondered if he would fare any better tomorrow. Still, one class left, lore. It was the lore of magic, basically the history of magic, and talking about imps, djinni and demons, as well as magical artefacts. Killer found that he enjoyed it, but knew it would be pretty useless for magic, probably... He ate after the classes and went to bed, tired. | ||||

You also end up slightly disorientated afterwards, so teleporting behind someone mightn't gain you an advantage. There is also teleportal barriers around places and objects, so you can't use it to get into them, e.g. banks etc. It doesn't set off any alarms apart from for banks though, so you can try it... You sort of get a view of where you're teleporting, just a blurry image, apart from when there is a teleport barrier around it.) 01:39:26 Feb 21st 08 - Mr. Arvious IIII: Why did I learn darkness? I didn't want to learn that. Or are you supposed too? Arvious awoke at twelve and couldn't get to sleep. The rain was thundering on the windows, like little alarms going off everytime a drop hit the window. He got out the books about light and fire and healing and water and wind and mind. So far, his avorite classes were light, which he succedded in makingh a light shield the first try, healing and wind class. He hated the darkness training for its history with evil wizards. Earth and energy was just too comlicated. The mind teacher just kept rambling on about stuff. And then, there was his roommates. Killer, Demonsul, and Meowman had been chosen as his roommates. Killer was nice and never argued with them. Meowman didn't do anything but think of pranks all day long, which brought up everyones spirits. Demonsul, however, argued with me. A lot. Probably because of my learning interests and love in light magic. He loved the darkness class, which was held in the dungeons. He also loved energy class, and successfully was able to produce a spark. Arvious read through the chapter for light class again and then read the page about the level 60 ray of light. "Useful against the undead and other enemies." Arvious blew out the candle, and went back to sleep. | ||||

As He Steps Forward The Window Shatters In Front Of Him And Looking Up Once Again He Sees A Brick Wall In Its Place...He Decides To Visit A Doctor And The Next Day Hes Sent To A Mental Asylum.
