The Journeys
18:44:34 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Killer:

Ok, I'm making  yet another RP thread. This is pretty basic. There's a bunch of apprentices(you, and whoever else joins) wandering around, doing various things. You can either be an apprentice healer, mage, warrior, rogue or ranger. You can be a mixture of some of them, or all of them, but then it will take you longer to get better at each skill.
A healer heals people, with magic, and herbal medicine. A mage practises magic. A warrior fights hand to hand. A rogue is sneaky, and uses knives and daggers mainly. A ranger uses the bow as his/her one weapon(well, s/he can use other weapons, but will use the bow mostly) and also can be skilled in tracking.
A healer has no weapon for the most part and won't be very skilled with any weapon he may have(if you become skilled at more than one thing you can have various weapons of each of the skills). A mage has a staff or wand to help them cast magic, a wand being  just a short piece of wood inscribed with runes, and a staff being a long enough piece of wood, with a gem or crystal on top of the staff. A warrior uses mélée weapons, such as battle-axes, swords, hatchets, knives, etc. A rogue uses knives and daggers, either to throw or to stab, and ranged weapons apart from the bow, such as a sling or crossbow, and has a good aim throwing something. A ranger uses the bow(and arrows) as his weapon, and can be a skilled tracker.
So, you can take your pick as an apprentice of any of them, and become skilled in that(those) area(s). You can NOT start off as a powerful warrior, or any of the others. You can NOT have any uniqure traits. You can be SLIGHTLY stronger or quicker or intelligent, etc. than most. All who join this start off as apprentices, and are not skilled at any thing, just wish to become skilled in an area or two. You can NOT have any weapons to start, other than a rudimentary bow or dagger or wand. Nothing too good. You will get better weapons as you go along.
Describe yourself, and you can have a weapon to start off with, just not too good.

So, sign up...

18:53:05 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Killer:

Killer

A young man, recently became fifteen. He hopes to become an acclomplished healer, mage and ranger, but mostly a healer. He doesn't remember the names of herbs, however, and is pretty useless with herbal medicine, but he can cast minor cures with magic.
He is 5 foot 6, and weighs 8 stone. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He carries a small knife, with which he made a rudimentary bow, and wand, with which he inscribed his name, as generally apprentice mages do to begin with, but he inscribed it in runes of an ancient language, which he found he the alphabet of on scrolls in a cave he found while wandering, along with many texts in the language, which he could not make much of.

Demonsul

He is a mysterious rogue's apprentice. He hardly knows anything about is master, but worked hard to get as his apprentice. He always remains hidden inside his black cloak and appears to be about 5 foot 9. Whenever threatened he always resorts to an iron dagger hidden at his waist. He is usually extremely secretive, and cannot be trusted as much as others.

19:35:15 Feb 1st 08 - Sir Revenge:

Revenge

A young man at only 16. Beholds his fathers bow and his quiver . His father passed them to him and now cherishes them beyond all other. The bow is made of the fine wood and the quiver of brown leather. He knows only of the bow
He is around 5 foot 7, and weighs around 8 and a half stone . Dark brown hair that sits down too his shoulders and brown eyes too match. His dark clothes falt at his arms too allow for a greater pull back and his black boots dirtied in the mud of his country

19:42:11 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Wraithish:

[If you are a pure profession do you have better skills than a mixed person?]

19:46:15 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

well im pure rogue so i hope so

19:51:33 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Ding:

Ding

As a child his father died when he was 5 and his legendary skills of warrior and healer he took to the grave so now ding must train himself and become skilled with many a weapons wether it being magic or melee. At the age of 17 he now holds his father's basic sword and the basic heal spell. He wears a black, red hooded cloak and is seen mysteriously swinging his sword in many strange ways at a tree. He seems to be 6 foot 3 but no-one knows. Also his weight is a mystery, Many wonder could he be around 10 stone but no-one knows his build, although he does appear to be quite muscular. Dark brown hair now falls to his shoulders and green/red eyes but also a rumour has been heard his eyes and hair change colour to his mood. His body is mostly covered by the darkness of his cloak but you may see his black, leather boots showing underneath which are dirtied with the gloss of polish.(<---oxymoron, that's why that bit sounds weird, look it up)

(soz, my first proper roleplaying post)

20:01:02 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Ding:

what do we do now? meet up?(i mean as role playing)

20:08:13 Feb 1st 08 - Sir Vengence:

  1. Killer (apprentice healer, mage and ranger)
  2. Revenge ( Pure Ranger )
  3. Demonsul (apprentice rogue)
  4. Ding (apprentice healer, warrior)
  5. Vengence- will be called Alban next era- [character called Cassius if permitted.]

ok, I gues I may aswell post, but be warned I may be slightly inactive...btw, is it ok for me to call my character Cassius?

Cassius was born to a poor family. his father would often beat him for no reason while in a drunken rage, after staggering into the house late at night. eventually Cassius had enough. he left and looked for work. he found some in a blacksmiths, nothing much, just handing the tools to his master. he wanted to do more, but at this time was only nine. When he became older, he began to be interested in the use of a bow. he had seen a ranger practicing with one, and he had decided that he also wished to be a ranger. he managed to find somewhere in which he would be trained. he was encouraged to learn to be a healer also, and he decided to do that. now he waits, sitting in his room, thinking through what he must do.

he is quite strong after working in the blacksmiths, but not hugely, just slightly more than most. is not stupid, but not very clever either. quick on his feet when needs be.

He has black hair, that falls down over one blue eye. he wears leather traousers, black leather boots with steel toe caps and a black cloak that he always wears with the hood up. quite tall, about 5 '9'. muscular after long hours work in the forge at the blacksmiths.

He made a bow for himself, but it does not allow for powerful shooting and arrows do not always go in the desired direction, and the bow is not straight, and does not bend back very well.

Hope I havent given him anything I shouldnt have, I think you said that they could have a weapon as long as it wasnt very good..

20:08:35 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

[meet up, ding? why not]

Demonsul was waiting at the crossroads for his master. However, one hour late said he was not coming. Demonsul was confused...he set off into the wooded path where he thought his master would have come from...but he saw someone else..."Don't move!" shouted Demonsul and ducked for the cover of the trees. He began to edge his way towards the newcomer...

[act fast, the newcomer is one of you!]

20:10:17 Feb 1st 08 - Sir Vengence:

Cassius walked along. he did not know why he was out, he had simply wanted to get some fresh air, maybe practice with his bow. the air was ice cold, and he shvered as he drew his cloak tightly around him. up ahead he saw a figure, standing there. thinking the person may be lost, he walked up to them in case they needed to know where to go.

20:14:04 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

Demonsul paused in the shadows. Why had the newcomer not reacted? Now he was closer he could see him in more detail. He was quite tall...leather trousers...black hair...who was he? Demonsul had never seen him before. However, he had also noted the bow carried on the newcomers back, and was still wary of this stranger...

20:19:38 Feb 1st 08 - Sir Vengence:

Cassius continued forward, now wary of this stranger. he did not look like someone who was going to react kindly to his approaching him. so, at a distance, he called

'Who are you? ae you lost or something? it is just that I saw you just standing there, and thought you mught be. I mean you no harm'

after saying that Cassius waited for the reply. A bird in a tree above him was chirping noisily. annoyed, Cassius loosed an arrow at it. he missed, hitting the branch to the left of the bird. in a flurry of feathers  it took off. Cassius recovered his arrow, then loked over at the stranger

[[OCC: what ya think of my intro?]]

20:23:00 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Ding:

Ding was currently up in a withered old tree practising his warrior skills when he looked down and saw two strange figures, one with a hande made bow attached to his back and one with dark brown hair standing behind his tree, The stranger behind the tree was holding an iron knife and looked to be preparing for an assualt. And suddenly he saw an arrow fly past his face and hit a branch.

20:23:07 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

[very nice]

Demonsul recognized that the newcomer was not at that moment hostile, so he sheathed his dagger. However he was still wary so he called out; "My name is Jonathan!" A lie. The newcomer was obviously not as friendly as he thought, shooting at wildlife. Demonsul had always enjoyed wildlife, it was a side to him not even his master had known of. "and thank you, I am lost. Could you point me to the nearest inn?"

20:24:54 Feb 1st 08 - Sir Erunion Telcontar:

  1. Killer (apprentice healer, mage and ranger)
  2. Revenge ( Pure Ranger )
  3. Demonsul (apprentice rogue)
  4. Ding (apprentice healer, warrior)
  5. Erunion (apprentice mage, ranger.)
Erunion is 15, five foot nine and uses a simple yew bow (he's not particularly good with it) for both ranging and as a concentrator for his magic.

Erunion had always loved doing things out of the ordinary, and had grown up on tales of brave archers. When his town was raided he was studying with the town mage, along with a few other students. The mage had heard a clatter and stood up to see what was going on when an arrow took him in the eye. Thinking quickly, Erunion grabbed his yew stave and used a simple spell to block the door, while the other students blocked the window. When the raid had ended, half the town was dead or gone including Erunion's family.
After the raid had ended Erunion struck out on his own to see the world.

Walking through a wood wrapped in his own thoughts Erunion heard a bit of a clatter then a figure duck behind a tree. Then he heard a voice cry out; "Don't move!." Erunion quickly ducked behind a tree then saw in the distance, down the path another person walking by...

20:26:44 Feb 1st 08 - Mr. Ding:

Ding jumped down and suprised both these strangers, but now they were not strangers to him as they revealed one of their names, "hello, jonathon" called ding, "I was just up in this tree and i saw you two meet up, I know where the nearest inn is, just about 1/2 a mile east of here."

21:46:54 Feb 2nd 08 - Sir Vengence:

[[OCC: damn it, this pc is crap. I had alreaady writtnen a bit for us going to an inn, but the pc was being so crap that it didnt let me post it.]]

22:10:15 Feb 2nd 08 - Mr. Killer:

What the hell... Have you started without me?... Tchhh... You can call you character anything you want, but more than likely I'll forget, so excuse me if I call you by your VU name. If you are a pure apprentice of something, you will learn to be a master of your skill quicker. Just so you know, magic takes a long time to learn, and only when you are fairly practised in it will you be a serious threat to your foe, but you will be better than the rest of the skills, after a longer time.

*The trees were swaying slightly with the breeze. Killer wandered along the path, hoping to reach a town soon. He saw a tent pitched up. As he neared it he saw it was in fact two tents. He walked quickly up to it, hoping to meet a friendly person or two. He had only recently taken to wandering, as his previous life was in ruins. It wasn't much of a life, as he was an orphan from birth, and worked on a farm, but it wasn't bad. But recently the raiders came, and burned the place to the ground.
He reached the tents, and approcahed the first. He called. A huge giant of a man clambered out, near 7 foot Killer reckoned, and muscular. He spoke to him gruffly after examining him "What do you want?" he asked, not unkindly. "Sorry sir, I was wandering along this path, hoping to reach a town, but I do not know where I am." The man thought for a while. "Well, I am not sure where the nearest town is, as I am a wandered myself, but what are you doing out here in the middle of nowhere?" Killer told him his story, and concluded that he had best reach a town to work at something. The man sat deep in thought. "If you will, you can come with me and my apprentice. If we pass a town we can leave you there, but it may not be best for you, unskilled in anything as you are. You might manage a meagre existence, but not do much better. You can come with me, and leave when you wish, but we are off to find treasure, and you can tag along. I will ask that you carry your share of the treasure, and you might get a small portion yourself. By the way, I am called Bearnor. I am a warrior. And with this swrod I could cleave you in two," at this point he unsheathed his sword, "so you had best not try and do any arm to me or my apprentice. We will start tommorrow. I often take in various wanderers so do not e surprised if many come along. I will set up the spare tent I have for you, and you can sleep there." He does this, and Killer rests there for the night.*

Right, anyone joining, somehow come along and stumble across this guy. You can join along the way at anytime. Inactive people will die, and perhaps some others if you really bug me, or want to die.

11:14:56 Feb 3rd 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

[Just so you know, I AM called Demonsul, Im just not letting your guys know that-Jonathan is a fake name I just made up on the spot]

The group of Demonsul aka Jonathan, the man from up the tree [ding] and the strangers [cassius and erunion] progressed along the wooded path. Demonsul was incredibly confused. How had he ended up traveling with this bunch of misfits? Anyway, they were on their way to the town, which was actually a bad thing for Demonsul...his master was a wanted man there. No doubt they would recognize him as the apprentice.
But then, they came across a campsite...

12:23:01 Feb 3rd 08 - Mr. Meowman:

  1. Killer (apprentice healer, mage and ranger)
  2. Revenge ( Pure Ranger )
  3. Demonsul (apprentice rogue)
  4. Ding (apprentice healer, warrior)
  5. Erunion (apprentice mage, ranger.)
  6. Meowman ( Rouge and Mage)

Meowman is sixteen, going on 17, and was recently apprenticed to a mage who has experienced hard times and therefore also knows the art of the rouge. Therefore, Meowman can cast basic spells with his rune encarved wand and can throw his  2 dagges quite accuratly. However, about a week after he was apprenticed, his town was burned and pillaged by dwarves from the far eaat, and he was one of the few survivors, with his master and relatives among the dead. Meowman has survived for nearly&nb*beep*onth now on party tricks performed for a few copper peices, but longs to again be able to hone his skill..

He is trudging, depressed, along the path to a town one day when he bumps into a campsite. 'Oh dear,' he thought, knowing that the wanderers who walk the downtrodden paths between the cities are very  rarely friendly. As he was sneaking away  he was grabbed by a thickset hand, who asked gruffly, and without preamble: "Who are you? A traveller, or a theif? Out with it!" Seeing he had no other choice, and not seeing what harm it could bring, Meowman told the man his story. "Well, you have an honest face," said the man. Meowman couldn't hide his releif. "So I'll beleive you if you do one thing." Meowman's face fell instantly. "Do me a bit of magic." "Of course, sir!" Meowman replied, drawing his wand. This was the first time his life had depended on succes as magic, though he had a sickening feeling in his chest that it wouldn't be the last. "Telomonicus," he muttered, pointing his wand at a blade of grass. It turned purple. "Well, your gonna have to be able to do more then that if you're to be any use to me, but what the hell, I'll bring you along anyway," said the man, who indroduced himself as Bearnor and led Meowman to a tent...

15:49:35 Feb 3rd 08 - Mr. Ding:

They, Ding and the strangers, Were walking down the old rotten wooden path on they're way to the town and inn while Demonsul, one of the strangers, was acting strange as if he did not wish to enter this area. Demonsul began to twitch and start to cover his face with a mask and his cloak. "Why do you wish to be unidentified?" asked Ding, There was no reply. Ding shrugged and becan to pick up more dead leaves, Then he brought some extremely dead oak leaves in front of him and started to practise his skills to try and bring this leaf back to life. They soon came across a camp site and Saw a Large, scruffy, troll like man and a cat like boy of around 17 enter a tent, Ding paused along with the others. And Ding muttered "What shall we do now?"

16:10:52 Feb 3rd 08 - Mr. Killer:

*Killer peeped out in the morning. The camp seemed to have got a lot more active. There was a few people hovering a bit away. Killer went out to greet them, but Bearnor was awake first, and sprang out of the tent sword in hand. "Who are you, and what do you seek here?" he asked, his voice short of shouting. The others told him each their stories. Bearnor thought long and hard. "Right, well, you can come along with us. We are gathering treasure, which me and my apprentice Drallon," pointing to a young man, of around twenty, who, any would think was a warrior already, with his powerful limbs and thick steel armour covering him, which must have weighed a lot. Bearnor continued on, "found in a cave somewhere. It will just be a case of gathering it, as it is secluded and hard to get to. Two other youths have also found thier way here, last night... Seems to be a lot of activity here. Do you wish to come with us?" One by one, the others nodded. "Alright, after breakfast we will start off." Bearnor said, and all could see he was looking forward to it already.
They had a huge meal, or at least Killer thought, of many fruits, meats and breads. He ate but a little, he never had a great appetite. He watched in wonder at what the big man ate, and also what some of the others ate. Bearnor ate half of what Killer would eat in a week in that single meal, which was quite a sizeable amount for a single meal. Drallon also ate a lot, as did some of the others.
They headed off after the meal, each carrying a fair load. They continued down the forest path, and walked manys a mile. Killer wondered when they would stop...*

18:03:13 Feb 3rd 08 - Mr. Ding:

Ding was now captured with the others by this humoungous troll like guy, Bearnor and his skilled apprentice Drallon. While heading down this forest path Ding noticed alot of strange things such as no birds in the tree's, Too many bushes for his liking and alot of corpses, well that's what Ding though was alot. A while later he saw a rustle in a bush, Draw his sword and swung it round as fast as light and sliced a native in half, who was hiding in a bush. Then alot of archers stood up in the tree's and pointed straight at the gathering. Ding was quick at mathematics that his father tought him.

~"1+1=2" said Bing, Ding's father. Ding, aged 4, pointed at the digit one then the same digit again and then two. "well done son".

Ding jumped back into reality and continued to count the natives that sprung from the undergrowth. 10 axemen were ready to slice open them and the archers were ready to fire. When. Bearnor spoke "Mowar?" "Bearnor?" replied one of the natives. "Good old freind Mowar!" shouted Bearmor, The great troll leaped for joy and hugged the native. The rest including Ding and Drallon were puzzled "??", This was strange as Drallon, Bearmor's apprentice, was told everything about his master except that he was great freinds with the tribe of mohawks!

18:30:05 Feb 3rd 08 - Sir Vengence:

[[OCC: why is everyone missing me off the list?!]]

20:24:10 Feb 3rd 08 - Mr. Killer:

Because Erunion skipped you... though I can't say I blame him :P
You're a ranger and healer, right?

  1. Killer (apprentice healer, mage and ranger)
  2. Revenge ( Pure Ranger )
  3. Demonsul (apprentice rogue)
  4. Ding (apprentice healer, warrior)
  5. Vengence- (Character Cassius, ranger, healer)
  6. Erunion(apprentice mage, ranger)
  7. Meowman(rogue and mage)
Ding, I'd appreciate if you hadn't said there was a lot of corpses... And hadn't brought these other guys...

*Bearnor casually regarded the tribe. "Well, we'll be on our way if you don't mind." Mowar replied, "Of course." Bearnor and the group of apprentices went on, without the tribe. They walked a few more miles, having a quick snack on the way, and Killer decided that Bearnor and Drallon obviously ate  such a huge breakfast to last them through the day. They continued on until evening, and there stopped, and had another big feast, or at least Killer thought so. They pitched up the tents, of which there were only four, and only room for two in each. Killer offered to sleep outside, with a blanket, of which there were ten at any rate. Bearnor accepted this eagerly, so he wouldn't have to say would sleep outside a tent. Bearnor and Drallon slept in one tent, Revenge and Ding in another, Cassius and Demonsul in another, and finally Erunion and Meowman in the last. Killer was a bit cold outside, and hugged his blanket to him, which kept out the chill. It was a thick grey blanket fortunately, or else Killer might not have lasted. He huddled up, and drifted off to sleep.
He woke during the night, to the sound of the bushes moving. Someone or something curious was coming at the tent. Killer got a glance of one of them, and the sight chilled him to the bone. It was a man, or the like of man, twisted and distorted beyond belief, with many cuts and scars visible. Killer lay where he was, unseen with the blanket around him, or thought to look like a stone, perhaps. Beorn leapt out of his tent, with Drallon on his heel. Beorn drew his sword, and it gleamed in the starlight, and he and Drallon, who wielded a battle-axe, slayed the majority of the creatures, but many came out of the bushes, and several went to the tents. One came across Killer, and he sprang up, drawing his knife, and slashed at the creature. It hurt it, but not badly. The creature knocked the knife out of Killer's hand easily. Killer drew forth one of his arrows from a bag which he had lain beside him with his belongings(apart from his bow and staff, which lay beside the bag unprotected from the elements) and stuck it into the creature, which was hurt by this, but still no serious harm was down. The creature drew a weapon, a knife or the like, and was about to plunge it into the creature when it's head was chopped off. The blood spattered onto Killer. Drallon, with his axe, and hewed the neck of the creature. He had no time to spare, however, to help the others in their tents. Killer looked about him uselessly, grateful that no more creatures spotted him, and they were nearly all gone. He hoped the others fared better or much the same as he...*

20:58:28 Feb 3rd 08 - Sir Revenge:

As Revenge sat in his small tent, he heard a large hit and the sounds of swords clashing, he took his bow to his arm
He saw a few glows of torches, he ran over wth his ruck-sack
He aimed his bow, he didnt know who to aim at, however creatures looked un-known
He aimed his bow, he was not a great bowman but his fathers bow alinned his sight
He fired smashing into a creatures head and putting it too the ground
He ran over too the men...

00:33:01 Feb 4th 08 - Mr. Meowman:

"AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! Holy Kasailoth!" exclaimed Meowman as one of the things jumped into his tent. He drew a dagger and threw, aiming at the eye, and glad of such a close target. More by luck then skill, he hit, and the creature fell, writhing, to the floor...

17:19:52 Feb 4th 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

Demonsul was out of his tent the moment the ambush started. Next, he was slashing out with his dagger at the strange creatures. They were only being knocked back, even when he stabbed at their heart, and so he was starting to panic. Where had these things come from? The only way to kill them was to behead them, and Demonsul's dagger was not long enough to do this. Backing into the trees, chased by the monstrosities, he turned and fled. He knew the odds were stacked against him, and he stood no chance against the creatures.
He ran in a circle so he would eventually return to the campsite. While he was running, he had time to collect his thoughts. But the terror of those monsters had scattered his mind, and all he could think about was how had Ding known his name? It hardly mattered, but he focused on that thought to block out the terror of the...things.
As he reached camp, he drew his dagger again, and prepared to help in some way, when he found one of the decapitated creatures lying in the mud. By it's leg was a medium-length sword. Demonsul picked it up. It was incredibly light and thin, but still sharp and dangerous. A perfect rogue's sword. It was odd that the monster would have such a fine piece of weaponry, but here it was. All for Demonsul...at least now he could kill the things.
Demonsul turned around, headed the remaining few meters back into the camp, and launched himself into the fray...

[I hope I can keep the sword : ) ]

21:02:59 Feb 4th 08 - Mr. Killer:

No, it's too good. You can make it worse, and why is so many people writing in italics?

21:39:57 Feb 4th 08 - Sir Erunion Telcontar:

Erunion woke up just as one of the creatures burst into a tent. Fortuitously, a dagger took it in the head. Standing up in the tent, Erunion grabbed his bowstave and strung it, fitting an arrow to it's head. He aimed his bow at one of the creatures and fired, taking it in the leg. Seeing that the wound was not lethal, Erunion fitted another arrow to his bow but this time, as it fired he cast a small burning spell that lit the arrow in flame. The arrow took the creature square in the shoulder and set it alight.
One less to worry about.
Erunion fitted another arrow to his bow and started scanning the area for targets.

17:55:01 Feb 7th 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

its just an ordinary sword...a bit lighter, maybe, but just average...
it was written from my characters point of view, and hes never used anything better, so he thinks its amazing
also its actually quite blunt (because you said make it worse and im just making sure i get it)

23:59:41 Feb 7th 08 - Mr. Killer:

Ok, you can keep it... It's still sort of difficult to hold though, and he won't be bale to use it well for some time.

*Killer surveyed the scene. All seemed in order now. Bearnor and Drallon were panting heavily. Bearnor checked all was in order. He looked at the apprentices despairingly, they wouldn't be able to survive an attack like that again. "We will set off immediately. There is a town nearby, we need to get to safety quickly, away from these beasts." he said, after a pause, deciding what to do. They set off, and Killer dragged weary foot after weary foot. He wondered when they would reach the town.
They reached the town at the break of day. Bearnor halted at an inn, 'The Traveller's Inn'. Killer didn't think this a catchy name, and there was others with catchy names, but Bearnor had obviously been here before, and led the way in. He booked a room, and gave a few gold coins to each of the apprentices. "Spend these wisely, on food preferably, in this inn. I am going into town, you may go where you wish, but be careful where you go, and if you are not here tomorrow at the break of day, you shall be left here. Drallon, try and keep these in order," he whipered aside to his apprentice, knowing he would not hold them back from going where they wished, just not let them make a fool of themselves in his sight. Bearnor left, into town for the day...*

00:02:15 Feb 9th 08 - Mr. Killer:

*Killer decided to rest in the inn, not to expend his energy wandering around. He wondered what the others would do for the dya in the town. First though, he though, a nice hearty meal. He tramped down into the food part of the inn, and ordered a pie, which was much bigger than he had anticipated. Bearnor had chosen well. He payed for it, and took a bite, and burned his tongue. He asked for a glass of water and looked at the pie warily. It was only pastry and meat of some kind, tasted a bit like Vérognal, a type of animal, rare, but easily caught. You couldn't breed it in towns though, and you might only just manage it in secluded places with any human around. It was delicious, at any rate.
However, the heat of the pie was annoying. Killer waited for a while, while the pie cooled, and sipped at his water, his tongue still sore. A man, drunk he seemed, came over. "Are y'eating that pie or no?" he slurred. Killer looked warily at him. He didn't want to start a fight with a man twice his size. "Aye, I am," Killer replied. The drunken man seemed annoyed ar this, and took the pie from him. He dipped the fork in and was about to take a bite, when Killer drew his knife, hidden in the folds of his clothes. Killer shook a bit, but pointed the knife at the man. "Put down the pie!" he said, his voice loud and quavering. The man did this, and backed away. "Don't be hasty. Just spare some food for a hungry man." Killer glared at him. The man quickly went away. Killer sheathed his knife. The inn-owner came over to him, whispering "Sorry, but I can't have this in my inn. Please, take this up to your room, or leave." Killer took it up to the room, to eat it in silence.
Killer quickly ate the pie when it had cooled. He ate around the sides, as he usually did. The flavours coursed on his tongue, there must have been a few herbs in it. He came to the centre, with the sides gone. Still, a third of it was left, yet he was full. He poked his fork through the rest of it absent-mindedly. He drew with his fork many pieces of metal, sharp and deadly. Killer looked worried. He knew he hadn't eaten any, he would have known. It must have been put in the centre only. He examined the metal closely. It was just copper, but it was sharp and threatening. He warned the others, and layed in his bed, uneasy...*

04:47:05 Feb 9th 08 - Mr. Meowman:

Meowman lay down to sleep, ready to slumber in a proper bed for the first time in weeks with a bit of lent money from Beanor. As he faded from consiousness, he wondered of the manner of the treasure that was being hunted, and how far away it was. He was nearly asleep when he spotted some string lying on the floor. Figuring it was better to be safe then sorry, Meowman tied one end around his toe and another end around the doornob. He went back to his bed and collapsed, asleep before his head hit the pillow...

15:22:27 Feb 9th 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

Demonsul was wary, as he had seen on his way into the town a sign saying;

Wanted Dead or Alive:
Mysterious rogue and his Apprentice.
Reward of 2000 double coins (500 for apprentice)

That was a huge reward, equal to 200,000 gold coins! What had his master done to deserve such a reward? And why did Demonsul get dragged to it? This was a hostile town, so Demonsul decided not to leave the inn.
Instead of spending the money given to him, Demonsul decided to practice his skills as a rogue to obtain funds. He walked down one of the corridors between rooms and came to a door that was ajar. He stealthily slipped inside to find a man who was asleep-probably due to the many empty beer glasses around the bed. Demonsul crept up to him and slipped his hands into his pocket, but it was empty. He had obviously spent all his money on the beer. Disappointed, Demonsul extracted himself from the room without waking the drunkard, and walked back to his own room to sleep. When inside, he locked the door behind him out of habit and lay down, and fell asleep immediately. The attack had tired him more than he had realized.

[Will the apprentices notice the wanted poster? Will Demonsul get caught? To be honest I don't know-its up to you lot]

16:12:09 Feb 9th 08 - Mr. Killer:

Errrr.... there's only gold coins as the currency, nothing else. And, I'd really appreciate if you didn't put in such absurd stuff. 200,000 gold coins is a lot, even 2,000 gold coins is a lot. There is no wanted poster up. Otherwise Bearnor would be caught, and then what would the apprentices do?

16:50:25 Feb 9th 08 - Mr. Demonsul:

fine-replace double coins with gold coins
i was going to use silver coins but realized your earlier use of gold coins as not much
it is still a lot though-Demonsul's master do big steal and get into lot of trouble!

00:16:27 Feb 10th 08 - Mr. Meowman:

[[Killer I think he was talkin about his old master, before Beanor was found?]]
