| 23:17:06 Apr 16th 08 - Mr. Killer: *Killer wakes up. He decides it's time to build a city. First off, he would need people... And to get people, you needed other people. Killer saw the flaw in this, as there wasn't any people for miles around. He sighed. That was the problem of being on an island miles from anywhere, even if it was a big island. Well, the least he could do was build a few houses, he decided. This he did, and for several years he built many cabins, as they couldn't really be called houses. Still, they were nice cabins. He also ploughed the land, sowed seeds, and killed those evil weeds. He decided he needed people to get any further, so he built a boat. He started out to see in it, and it fell into little pieces, and he just managed to reach shore. He sighed. He decided the only way to get more people was through his only means of communication, through computer. He sent messages all across the world through VU that he needed people. Soon he had 5,000 people(admittedly more than in VU, probably, but they invited other people), and they built houses, and farms. He saw that all was well, and gradually it grew into a town from a village, with a population of 10,000 people. There were 1,000 houses, 500 apartments and 100 farms(100 acres each). Over time, other buildings were set up, banks, mints, post offices, shops, and all the other stuff. He decided it was time to resign from residing over it, and leave the people to their own devices, and get a nice large amount of money to buy a house with...* Alright, basically players(YOU!) have jobs and have to live. There are a great variety of jobs. There's an army, navy, air force, rubbish workers place thingy..., banks, advertising company, lots of stuff... You just earn money, advance in work, and pay taxes. You can also become a leader, and s/he(they) decide what to build and such. You can kill people(There are police though...), steal, work etc... Population increased to 50,000 over the years... The buildings(and other things) as now are(open to suggestions. No ridiculous ones to be taken) :

Now, as you have seen the last one, priest, implies Religion. And that's exactly what there is in this game(You don't have to follow a religion. You can create your own religion, but you have to build temples and whatnot, and you mighn't get any followers whatsoever.) Please do not take offence. CURRENT RELIGIONS: 50,000 people Zetanism(Believe in the one true god, Zeta, followers are Zetians) 20,000 Grinalsty(Believe in many nature gods. Followers are Grinalstians) 10,000 Hrylotism(Believe in a person, Hrylot as god, who created the religion himself, followers are Hrylots) 5,000 Proastanism(Believe there is nought but suffering and hate, and many evil demons. Have you any particurlar skill in any areas of teaching(only boring geography, history, languages and such...)?"* *A superintendant looks up at the man in front of him. "Hmmm, do you have any qualifications? You don't need them for traffic warden, or any other rank, but ummmm... Yeah, sure, you're in."* Ok, I'm going to explain how the leadership thing works. First off, there are parties. Anyone can set up a party with enough funding, and they then have to recruit(Well... don't have to, but it would be an idea). A party should be 20-50 people or more. You have to get elected, and to get elected you need people to vote for you. To get people to vote for you, you have to give speeches and put up posters and such. There are 50 seats. You need a majority to make sure laws get through, but any ridiculous ones and the public will start to get angry, and if 1/2 the people(in the whole place) call for another election, there is one,(They do this by starting a campaign, and getting people to sign stuff. You'll be severely punished if found to be cheating this...) or else just against the law(Only 1/3 people needed for this). There are: Ministers, Prime Minister and President Ministers are just voted into power at each election(held 1st of every month(hopefully...)), and just go around making sure everything is alright, passing laws, earning lots of money, etc... Prime Minister is the person with the most votes in the election, and earns more money than the rest... President is elected by the Ministers(Prime Minister's vote counts as 10) and can choose not to pass laws. Earns lots of money. Present Parties are as follows: The Conservatives(80 people) The Greens(40 people) The Death Dudes(20 people)Very popular... The Progressive Democrats(30 people) Ruler ranks(You can even make yourself dictator, but beware of the public, one law that is impossible to change is the one mentioned above. The ones not voted into power earn nothing(apart from their other jobs, if any)) Minister(2,000 gold) Prime Minister(5,000 gold) President(10,000 gold) | ||||
