The Return of Kerait |
03:40:34 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
This is a sequel to WarTorn. I will not spoil any of the plot, you can guess what it'll be like if you read the end of WarTorn, but I doubt you'll be right (unless you're Delran...)
The Return of Kerait
Septim's pod opened and he fell to the floor. He then coughed out a green fluid and wiped blue liquid from his eyes. He looked around to see his fellow Keraitians coughing up the same liquid. "I never...want...to do that...again," said Admiral Wolfe. "Neither do I," said Septim before getting up. He stumbled to a door and turned around. "When you guys are ready, c'mon!" said Septim. Through the door was a locker room, he walked up to one and opened it to find a set of Keraitian combat fatigues, a KS-9 pistol, and a K-55 submachine gun. There was also a duffel bag with civillian clothes and several clips of ammunition for both guns inside. He suited up and holstered his sidearm, he then readied his submachine gun and waited for everybody else.
[[OOC: You can either take the role of a Dragon "An elite special forces operative", a civillian in another shelter, or a soldier. Charley, Delran, and Arvious all have their characters alive from the previous story. Manwe's will be an NPC since he said he didn't want to play, but if he does want to play, he can take control at any time...there'll be no sign-up period, join whenever you want.]]

03:54:25 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:
Captain Dak Perkins suddenly opened his eyes and he felt himself floating in some pod. "Where am I? What is going on? Wait...when am I? I cannot breathe. I need out of here!"
Dak pounded on the door of the pod until finally someone opened it up from the outside. The liquid flowed out onto the floor and Dak fell to the ground, coughing up a liquid. He wiped more of the liquid from his eyes and saw many other Keraitians waking up also. He saw General Septim move through a door and followed him, barely noticing his squad was stumbling after him. He got into combat fatigues along with his men and found some sidearms and equipment. He almost automatically chose which gear was his, still beginning to remember everything that was going on.
He found his old sniper rifle, which was still laying where he tossed it whenever he went into the pod. He picked it up and blew some dust from it and emptied the chamber. He loaded in five rounds and closed the bolt on his rifle. He walked over to Septim and saluted, his squad assembled behind him. "Red Squad is ready and accounted for."

04:05:32 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Delran:
Delran's pod opened a few moments after Septims. He got out coughing a green fuild and a little dizzy from the time spent in it and need several moments to get back in control of his senses and movements. He spotted his gear next to it: his sword, a KS-9 pistol, KA-15 assault rifle, a KI-5 combat knife and kevlar vest. He was still wearing his uniform he had 100 years ago at the ceremony. He looked for a new uniform and found a set of them. He picked one fit for alround combat and put it on with all his equipment. He saw the other men arround him exiting the pods, coughing and trying to regaing themselves and after that looking for their equipment. He spoted Septim and went to him. "Sir, what happened? And what do we do now? I await your command." Colonel Sharpe and Delran's other men already got their gear on and approached them. "We are ready for everything Sirs!"
[[OOC: You can also pick a place in my unit. Read the ending of WarTorn. My men will be forming another elite group. Didn't picked up a name yet. Most of them are officers trained in allround combat and leadership. Sharpe is unavailable as I will be posting as him. Also there are several characters played by Septim. You can call them NPC's. Do not worry if you missed the start of the rp when the pods open, your pod can open a little harder (being delayed, technology still new when it was first used, never been fully tested, and after 100 years ...... you can figure it out). Good luck to us all and may this rp last longer than the tavern. ;) ]]

[[OOC: Charley, Septim is a Chairman of Kerait since Yerchico was killed.]]
|
04:29:07 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:
[[OOC: Dak still likes calling him general XD...and was not around for most of the time he was Chairman since he was on a mission. Dak has also barely been around you since he has been under the direct command of Septim.]]

04:31:34 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Delran:
[[OOC: And what about that? Dak hasn't been arround me? Dak first saw me at the ceremony when the nuke strike began. Whats that got to do with it?]]

04:37:23 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:
[[OOC: Dak really still thinks of Septim as his commander. I was just saying he still calls Septim by his rank, not Chairman.]]

05:07:18 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
"At ease soldiers," said Septim to Dak, and pretty much every other soldier in the room, "It's been one hundred years since we went into those things, the world should be alright for recolonization. But if it's not, the pods will still work for another century. We have several Radiation Suits to protect people from the outside, but not enough for everybody. I want Brown Team to scout around up there, they're the best at recon. The suits are in lockers seven-oh-five through seven-one-seven. Go ahead, we have enough food to last us around two years, and enough pure water to last us the same amount of time. Good luck Brown Team." Captain George Johnson saluted Septim before walking to the entrance of the shelter.
***
"Good Lord," said Johnson as the vault door opened, an enormous amount of rubble was between him and the surface. Suddenly, a motorized drill drove past him and began drilling at the rubble. Within ten minutes, the way to the surface was clear, and the ten men of the Brown Dragons walked out to the surface. The vault door closed behind them. They pulled out their Geiger counters and began scanning. The land was clear of radiation, but it was a wasteland. All desert, no plants grew on the once fertile island. "Biggs, call HQ, tell 'em it's clear," said Johnson, "But also tell 'em to bring supplies, 'cause it's a hellhole..."
***
"Sir," said a radioman, "Johnson's calling in, there's no radiation up above, but it's a wasteland. He says to bring supplies." "Fine by me, bring them supplies for three days and tell them to go scout out, I want Blue Team and Black Team on it as well. Then I want Delran and his men to guard the entrance, go go go!" said Septim.
|
05:25:26 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Delran:
"Al right men! We need to organize ourselves! Everyone in my unit gather around! We will call ourselves Storm Cohorte! We have all been trained in all arts of warfare and combat. We will split into 3 teams: Centuria 1 to 3. i will lead Centuria 1 made of about 20 men, Colonel Sharpe will lead Centuria 2 made of 15 men and Colonel Tumar wil lead Centuria 3 - 15 men. Now gear up and Centuria 2 guard the door! Others be on stand by ready to support them if we came under attack! Go go go!" "Yes Sir! Centuria 2 gear up and follow me!" "Centuria 3 gear up and await further orders!" "Centuria 1! What the hell are you waiting? Gear up and be ready!" Everyone rushed to execute the orders and Centuria 2 went to guard the doors.
|
05:26:38 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:
Captain Perkins, not having any order for his team, set them running about and beginning to do some simple calisthenics. "Comon men! One hundred years can do strange things to the body and we need to get our bodies back in shape. Now stretch your bodies out and then do ten laps around this place as a warm up. Now move it out, double time!"
Dak did not simply order his men to move and not move himself. He was up in front, working just as hard to get his body back in shape. He continued his men working for several hours before taking a break. "Alright, take a breather. We can only do so much in a day and we cannot get 100% fitness immediately. We will continue every day we can."
|
06:34:20 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Three days passed before the three Dragon teams returned. They had scouted the whole island, and it was a desert, but from the coast, they saw that the bridge was still intact, and the water was pure. On the other side of the bridge, there were green fields. "That's strange...alright men, I've got a garage full of vehicles and I want 'em used!" said Septim as he led his men into a locked garage full of vehicles and fuel. There were twelve KT-5 transports, six KAT-3 APCs, six KLA-25 light attack vehicles [[hummers]], and four heavy tanks. There was also enough fuel for the whole convoy to reach Olkai. "I want women and children in the APCs, men and soldiers in the transports," said Septim. There was a total of four hundred people in the shelter, fifty Dragons, fifty-three of Delran's men (including himself), Admiral Wolfe and his twenty intelligence officers (who were trained in the use of small arms as well), one hundred fifty elite soldiers who were going to recieve the Medal of Kerait, thirty-six tech officers in charge of maintaining the shelter, Grand Admiral Xarxes and twenty of his best men (all trained in ground combat as well), General Rell and twenty pilots (all trained in ground combat as well), and fifty-eight civilians ranging from children to girlfriends/wives of the soldiers. The women and children boarded the APCs and the men boarded the transports. Afterwards they loaded up as much food, water, and fuel as they could carry (there were still a couple of empty transports). When everybody was in their vehicles, the large group of vehicles took off out the vault door. Upon reaching the surface, they organized into a standard convoy formation and went off towards the bridge.
***
They reached the Kerait Bridge a day later and saw to their surprise that the bridge was indeed still intact, and there was a small group of people gathered near it in Keraitian transports. Septim got off of his transport and approached the group. "What shelter are you from?" asked Septim. A man who looked to be a lead scientist got off of the transport and approached Septim. "Chairman, I am from Gelluvo Research Facility, we awoke four days ago. In our group is around fifty scientists, a hundred engineers, and three platoons of soldiers," said the lead scientist. "Join our convoy," said Septim before turning to his convoy, he gave the signal and a few of the vehicles made room for the new vehicles. "Green team, go up ahead and check for mines and traps," said Septim. Green team got off of their transport and carried out their orders, an hour later they came back and reported no mines. The convoy crossed the bridge, but only a few vehicles at a time. Afterall, it was an old structure, and it wasn't as strong as it used to be. But, they crossed the bridge with few problems and drove off into the green landscape. Only one small settlement was on the horizon, and upon driving up to it they were greeted by a man in strange clothes. "Hello stranger, off to an antique show? Where'd you get those fancy clothes and cars?" said the man laughing, "Must've been a fortune, 'specially those tanks there." "I am Chairman James Septim of Kerait," said Septim. "I can see why they hired you to act as him, you look just like the busts," said the man with a snort, "What are you doing here?" "What is this place?" asked Septim. "This here is Nukesberg, city of Herval used to stand here back when Kerait was still around," said the man. Herval...there was a shelter here... Suddenly, a drill shot up through the road, and a large vehicle came from the ground. The man turned around and his face went pale. "What the hell is that?" he yelled. A few seconds later, a team of forty Keraitian soldiers walked with their weapons at the ready, they saw Septim and his convoy and immediately saluted. "Sir!" they yelled. "At ease boys!" said Septim. "I am Lieutenant David Smith," said the lead soldier. "I'm Chairman Septim of Kerait," said Septim, "Do you have any vehicles down there?" By now the man watching the events unfold was nearly having a heart attack. "We have about a hundred tanks down there, and around eighty APCs, we have plenty of fuel, food, and water too," said Smith. "Makes sense, this used to house a major tank factory," said Septim, "How many men do you have?" "Eight platoons, two of 'em can drive tanks," said Smith. "Right, Dragons! Secure the area!" said Septim.
|
06:49:08 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Delran:
"Storm Riders, If they do not have the man power to drive the tanks, join them. Also, anyone who drove a tank help them." After giving the orders, Delran got of his tank and went to the Lieutenant. "I am High General Delran Dark of the Kerait Military. I am pleased to see that many of the Kerait best soldiers survived. Mann your vehicles and enter the column men. From now on you are captain of the Kerait Military Smith! Congradulations! Any other ranking officers down there?"
|
07:07:32 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:
Captain Perkins and his red team split up into groups of two. Dak and Harrison both went up into the tallest building and looked around with their snipers. Phil, Finn, Tom, Jason, Rick, and Ulren moved to each part of the town and then reported back. "Nothing hostiles has been seen." Dak radioed Septim with the report. "No enemies detected by my squad. I am moving back towards your position unless you have new orders. Over."
|
07:19:52 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
"Come on back, Red team, anybody else find anthing?" asked Septim. Each of the Dragon Teams reported back with a negative, and Septim smiled. "Good," he said before coming up with a plan. Each of the shelters had been given supplies and vehicles, he knew that, he also knew where the shelters were. He just needed to know how this area had life, and Kerait Island had no life. Septim approached the man from before and smiled. "Why is this land filled with vegitation, yet, Kerait Island is a wasteland," said Septim. "A long time ago, Iellus Corp. came in after the war with a P.A.W.C.U.K., a Post-Atomic War Clean-Up Kit, they gave 'em out for free, I got one myself, in less than two weeks grass was growing once again. It's some sort of miracle divice, seeds the ground, fertilizes it," said the man. "Give me yours," said Septim. "Why?" asked the man. "I need to "clean-up" Kerait Island," said Septim. "If you do that, the Empire'll come down on you, hard. It's a very strictly enforced rule," said the man. "I'll take my chances," said Septim. Septim took the P.A.W.C.U.K. (which turned out to be a large boxlike object) and had it loaded into the back of a transport truck. He then turned to Delran. He handed him a map and leaned close to him. "I want you and your men to find the shelters, the map has the passcodes for all on the back in case they havn't opened yet. When they do, I want you to recruit the men and women and tell them to take their vehicles to Kerait Island. I don't want much attention drawn, so only take about ten men. You can take two of the cars in this village to blend in, make sure to get some clothes too, good luck," said Septim before walking away. He got into a transport truck and the convoy drove off to the ruins of Kerait City.
***
On the way back, they had discovered two groups of Keraitians, one of them was a group of soldiers from Fort Gelva, the other was a group of citizens from the city of Harvona. They all made their way back to Kerait City, where the scientists activated the P.A.W.C.U.K.. A shockwave spread through the land as thousands of seeds fertilized the desolate land. Within a year, the Island would be normal once again. Septim then ordered the construction of a new city.
|
12:34:52 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Delran:
"Storm Cohorte! In formation! Alright men! We are moving out! Unfortunately, I am taking 9 of you in a mission and the rest will stay with the convoy! So I need volunteers!" The entire unit moved forward. "I can't take all of you! So I will just have to pick you! Private Masterson! Front and center!" "Sir!" "Private Repnin! Front and center!" "Sir!" "Sergeant Urahara! Front and center!" "Sir!" "Captain De Silveur! Front and center!" "Sir!" "You men will form the first team under my command! Align behind me! Move it! Move it!" "Private McDuff! Front and center!"
"Sir!"
"Private Umbane! Front and center!"
"Sir!"
"Sergeant Di Stefani! Front and center!"
"Sir!"
"Lieutenant Von Roch! Front and center!"
"Sir!" "Colonel Sharpe! Front and center!"
"You men will form the second team under Colonel Sharpe's command! Align to my left behind Colonel Sharpe! Move it! Move it!" "Al right men!" said Sharpe. "Move out!" "The rest of you will head back with the convoy! Colonel Tumar will take command in my absence! Tumar! you will only take orders from the Chairman! Understood?" "Yes Sir!" "Move out! And take all the vehicles with you!" Delran and the rest of his men headed towards the city, taking with them only their knives and pistols, 2 submachine guns, 2 assault rifles, 2 sniper rifles, their supressors and two heavy machine guns in case they need some serious fire support. "First we need to find some new clothes to blend in and two cars!" They traded their clothes and most of the unnecessary equipment for clothes and two vehicles that seems to look like range rovers. Also received some food for them and went off the city desguised as civilians. They hid their weapons in the cars so that they would atract less attention. Several miles from the town, in a plain field, Delran called for a stop. Everyone got down from the cars and formed arround him. "Now I will explain you our mission! Within the old borders of Kerait, more shelters, just like the ones we were in, are scattered. Many are on the sites of our former cities. Many hold equipment, vehicles, supplies and our comrades and fellow country men. Our mission is to search the for survivor. If we find any we tell them to go the island. In case there are no survivors, we are to seal the entrances back and head for other shelters. The resealed shelters will provide us with equuipment and suplies if anything should happen. Understood?" "Yes Sir!" "Well than, what are we waiting for? Move out!"

16:01:07 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Over the next month, the once proud metropolis of Kerait City was rebuilt from metals and other materials found around Kerait Island. The city was not beautiful, for it was made with what they could find, but was home. Using tractors and tools found in several shelters they built homes, several barracks, a main HQ, a store, and a hospital. The HQ was built over the shelter, and the shelter was where they stored most of their guns, ammo, food, and water. Septim stored the vehicles in a parking area south of town. By the end of the month, the proud city of Kerait City was standing once again, they called it New Kerait. Over the course of that month, Kerait's Island began growing once again, many saplings grew out of the ground as well. Farmers began working on the first crop right after the ground was fertile enough. Septim was proud of the new civilization.

17:13:35 Nov 20th 08 - Sir Manwe:
[ooc: i will be playing, but rarely]
Ryo stumbled to his feet. Coughs racked his body and he shuddered. Burgling, he coughed up fluid of a bluish color. Wiping his mouth, he looked around him. Climbing up a set of stairs, he came to the surface and saw a barren desert. Sighing, he looked at his watch, wondering what time or day it was. 11:00 am. Then he looked at the date. Gasping, he stepped backwards.
No, it can't be...
Slamming his fist against a wall, he silently wept for everythingg he had known. although he had not had many friends, there were a few that were very special to him. But now, they were gone...GONE!
|
19:06:30 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Septim made sure that every person had a bed to sleep, and had three thousand extra places to sleep after finding several thousand bedrolls in several shelters around Kerait Island. He then began the construction of a Fort near the Kerait Bridge to guard the Island's only link to the mainland. After stationing a company of soldiers there under the command of Captain David Smith, he began his wait for news of Delran Dark.
[[OOC: Manwe, you were in the same shelter as we were. Right now New Kerait City is built over the shelter...and Kerait Island has been restored with grass and small saplings...you should have emerged to the Kerait Military HQ's basement...want to repost. ;-)]]
|
19:23:58 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Delran:
Delran headed firstly north with his men. They scouted each major town there and found many Kerait soldiers and civilians already at the surface patrolling in the vicinity of their shelters. All those encountered were sent to Kerait Island with all the contents of the shelters, supplies, vehicles and equipment. Delran wandered the north side of Kerait for about a month in search for shelters. After finding each and every last one in the north, he proceded to the south. The south scouting also took about a month, and, after finding all shelters there and send everything towards Kerait Island he went into the wilderness.
|
19:41:59 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Soon after the second month, two thousand one hundred soldiers and an equal number of civillians drove across the bridge in a convoy that stretched for miles. There were two hundred tanks, four hundred APCs, five hundred scout vehicles (hummers), and five hundred transport trucks. They had with them around five thousand assault rifles, seven and a half thousand pistols, five thousand submachine guns, three thousand light machineguns, ten thousand combat knives, a thousand sniper rifles, five hundred missile launchers, five hundred flamethrowers, four hundred radio sets, and as much food, ammo, fuel, tents, bedrolls, and water as they could carry. Septim now had enough weapons to arm an army, but he was severely undermanned. But, that could wait until later. Delran did it! Where the hell is he!? "Where is Dark?" asked Septim. "They went off, we don't know where," said one of the soldiers. "You the ranking officer? Name and rank?" asked Septim. "I'm Lieutenant Colonel Winston Graves, sir," said soldier. "Well you're a Colonel now," said Septim before turning around. Septim approached Captain Charley Deallus and his Red Team and smiled. "Major Deallus, that's right, you're a Major now. I want you to head to Nukesberg and recruit as many of those guys as you can, if you get more than half of the population to join Kerait, we can declare it a part of our nation, got it?" asked Septim. After recieving his answer, Septim got into the lead car of the convoy and drove off towards New Kerait City.
[[OOC: Where you going, Delran? Oh well. Charley, you have a transport truck for your mission. :-) ]]

20:07:45 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:
Captain Dak Perkins continued getting his squad back into combat shape. Regular exercises, mini wargames and other things were setup to sharpen their dulled skills. He waited for more orders from a superior, but none had come yet. He expected that nothing would happen unless an enemy revealed itself, but he wanted to be ready for that situation. He drilled his men over and over with combat situations and room clearing exercises. Shooting practice, infiltration scenarios, and stealth training were priorities.
He then recieved orders from Chairman Septim to recruit the people of Nukesberg to Kerait. He did not know what to expect, since he had not been a recruiting person. He was promoted so that he was now Major Dak Perkins. He was happy with his rank and decided he would give recruiting a try. He hopped onto the transport truck for his mission and drove into the town with his squad. He then had his squad split up and begin going through the town with promises of a strong leader and rebirth of Kerait. Dak set up a platform in the middle of the town and began shouting to all those that would hear. "The country of Kerait lives again to bring about a golden age for all. People of Nukesberg, lend me your ears and give Chairman Septim your support. Together we can rebuild Kerait into the strongest country in the land!"
He continued the speech for several more minutes and word began to spread through the town. They had barely been functioning as they were and really desired someone who could lead people. By the end of the day, almost three-fourths of the city had pledged their alliegance to Kerait in either military or economic support. Dak then radioed HQ with his results. "We have a large majority of Nukesberg pledging their loyalty to Kerait. The small minority are afraid of something and refused to join. There was also a small number that want to support us secretly."
|
20:19:53 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Colonel Winston Graves answered the radio and turned to Septim. "Perkins called in, he said that three quarters of Nukesberg's population agreed to join with the new Kerait. "Good, send a company of troops with three tanks to garrison the city. Put David Smith in charge of the city's defense. Also, tell Perkins to give the people the option to either change their city's name to it's old name, Herval, or to keep their current one, then tell him that he can come home," said Septim. "Yessir," said Graves before turning back to the radio, "Good work, Perkins. Now, tell them that they have two options. One is to change their city's name to Herval, it's old name, or to keep their current name of Nukesberg. Got that?"
|
20:28:21 Nov 20th 08 - Sir Manwe:
Ryo watched from the desert as the column of people left Nukesberg for what was left of Kerait. He had awoken after everyone had left the shelter, and now watched as the people returned to where they had been before. (i'm kinda confused about what happened to me) Sighing, Ryo checked his pistol, and found that the trigger had been smashed and it was now useless.
Huh, i guess we'll have to go old-style.
Pulling out his knife, he checkd it, and when he saw that it was in good shape, he turned toward the desert. Slipping his knife under his belt, he loped off in the direction of the bridge.
|
20:56:50 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:
Major Perkins waited for his orders and then they came. "Alright, understood."
Dak went and spoke to as many people as he could. "Would you like the city to be named Herval, it's old name, or Nukesberg?"
Quite a few people thought that Herval would be great for a name, since Nukesberg seemed so odd. Dak then got back on the radio and sent in the results. "Most people here liked the old name, Herval, so that is settled. Red squad is heading back sir."
Dak regrouped his squad and they hopped on their transport back to HQ.
|
21:24:28 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Septim was sitting in his command chair at HQ when Nukesberg's name was changed to Herval. "Good, are the power plants up and running yet?" asked Septim. The solar power plants that had powered Kerait Island had just been restored, and power was running through most of the facilities. Lights and radar were now operational, along with most of the computers in the Command Center. The old water system was also operational, and water was being pumped through New Kerait City. "Yessir," said Graves. "Good. We're going to need to reclaim the our raw material sources. We'll also need salvage teams to go to our old cities and collect as much as they can, anything is useful. Get on it, Colonel," said Septim to Graves. "Yessir," said Graves.

11:59:58 Nov 21st 08 - Mr. Delran:
Delran and his men have been wondering through the wilderness fro two weeks when they saw a small town at the horizon. They pull to a stop and everyone gathered in front of Delran's car. "What is that city there, Sir?" asked De Silveur. "Don't know captain. It's not on the map." Suddently, engine noise was heard. Several WarHummers were speeding towards them. "It's no point in trying to run, they would catch up to us soon. Hide the wapons and act naturally. We are a bunch of friend that come from Nukesberg and we just want to travel. Got that?" "Yes Sir!" The WarHummers arrived there in 5 minutes and soldiers wearing Kerait uniforms got down and surrounded them. "Who are you?" asked one of them. "My name is Henry. These are my friends." said De Silveur. "Who wants to know?" "Captain Mansfeld! Kerait Military! What are you doing here?" Upon hearing the name, sergeant Urahara came closer to Delran, as De Silveur responded to the questioning ans wispered in his ear: "Sir they are our men. Captain Mansfeld was in my regiment when we invaded Olkun'ut shores." "You sure?" "Yes Sir!" "Enough of this!" said Delran raising his voice. Captain Mansfeld, I am High General Delran Dark of the Kerait Military. Report!" "Sir! So glad we weren't alone! We have 300 soldiers, 20 WarHummers, 10 trucks, 8 tanks and 20 APC's. When we came out of the shelter we found ourselves in a town, that one over there. They are descendants of Kerait's people and as soon as they saw us, they were so glad that without a word from us they proclaimed their apartenece to Kerait." "That is good! Try and contact Kerait Island by radio. Chariman Septim is rebuilding it and has gathered there most of the survivors of the old Kerait. As soon as you made contact ask them what they need from the shelter. You will leave here 100 men, 3 truck, 2 tanks, 5 APC's and 5 WarHummers along with supplies and equipment needed for one year, as garrison. The reas of you will load everything onto trucks, get in the vehicles and procced to Kerait Island." "Understood Sir!" "Very good. Also tell the Chairman that I am almost done." "Yes Sir!" "Move it, Captain!" As the soldiers departed, Delran and his men took a smal break to eat. After that they got in the rovers and went on into the wilderness.

15:39:35 Nov 21st 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Over the next two weeks, Septim had built a radio tower to pick up both radio signals and to broadcast the new KNR across Kerait Island. The station would play pretty much anything good it could find out in the rubble. They had also gotten several different mines up and running around Harvel, along with a few mills. They were now producing raw material, and within another month, they could start producing weapons and vehicles. Suddenly, Colonel Graves looked up. "Delran has just reached the town of Erus, we've got three hundred more men and a few vehicles heading back to us," said Graves. "Good, let the men at Fort Kerait know," said Septim. "Yessir," said Graves. As Graves relayed the information, Septim took a walk out through his city, his name was cheered as the man who had rebuilt civilization, but he knew he couldn't have done it without the people (and the P.A.W.C.U.K.), it was then that he thought about Iellus for the first time since they were mentioned in Nukesberg. How did they survive the bombings? Why didn't they want Kerait Island fixed? Somethings not adding up... Septim then approached Graves. "Colonel, I want you to radio Harvel in the morning. I need any and all information on Iellus, and they're going to be the ones to ask, got it?" asked Septim. "Yessir," said Graves. "Good," said Septim.

20:57:06 Nov 22nd 08 - Mr. Delran:
Two weeks after Delran's party encountered Captain Mansfeld, they were still searching for something in the wilderness. The place they were searching always eluded them, until one day. On the horizon, as they were heading north, towards the bridge, they saw a ruined town, that predated Kerait. "There it is." said Delran. Full speed towards it!" No sign of life appeared in front of them as they passed through the town. But they were not searching for life above the ground. In this place, an ancient capital of a long forgotten civilization, a group of architects and builders, Keraits best, were sent to restore them to restore the town to it's former glory. In order to restore Kerait, they would need these men. They got in the center of the town and got down from the vehicles. "Alright men! Scatter and search for the door to the shelter. It should be in he center of the town. So we should be near it." "Sir! But why hadn't they come out?" "When their pods would open, their orders were to remain in the shelter and await for someone to come for them. Now move it!" After on hour of searching, Sergeant Urahara found a massive steel reinforced gate. Everyone gathered arround. "Now we have to open it! Step back!" Delran approached the door. On his right he found a small panel. He opened it and introduced his access code. Imediately a beep was heard and someone replied. "Identify youself or you will be killed!" "High General Delran Dark of the Kerait Military. Access code CD 848004 AS-157997. Who an I speacking to?" "Major Karl Venar! Sir we are glad to be found at ;last." "Use the driller to get out. We have secured the perimeter." "Yes Sir! Step back please." A few moments later the door was thrown into the air as a driller came behind it. Major Venar came running out side and saluted Delran. "Sir we have here 200 soldiers, 100 architects and builders, 10 APC's, 10 trucks, 20 WarHummers and 4 tanks, along with supplies and equipment!" "Load everything into the vehicles and get out, we will be escorting you to Kerait Island." "Yes Sir!" "And I want uniforms for me and my men! I got tred wearing this civilian rags!" "Understood!" One month later, the convoy reached the bridge to Kerait and the soldiers there stopped the convoy.

21:09:08 Nov 22nd 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
When the convoy arrived and the soldiers stopped it, Septim walked out. "Welcome back, Delran, you did a good job. I'm sure that after this long away you'd like a rest, and by all means take it! You've earned it!" said Septim with a smile, he then turned to the men he was escorting. "Welcome to Kerait Island, I want you guys to start building immediately. As for the soldiers, reinforce the garrison her-" Septim was interupted by a man running from the fort. "Sir, we've got information on Iellus. According to the civilians in Herval, Iellus now rules the world. Their capital is where ghost town was one hundred years ago! They havn't gone far out of where Serillia now is, as a matter of fact. The people of Herval in fact left Iellus forty years ago after their leader learned what really happened to the world one hundred years ago. Olkun'ut did not nuke us, Iellus did. When they saw the end of the war coming, they decided to nuke us in order to take power, as their only source of income so far had been weapons and military vehicles. They then used the P.A.W.C.U.K. that they had been developing to clean up the continent. The only place that wasn't nuked was Serillia," said the soldier. "My God..." said Septim.

01:46:11 Nov 23rd 08 - Sir Manwe:
Ryo wandered through the desert, as he had been for the past two days. He had lost all sense of time and direction, and now walked aimlessly through the barren land. His throat was parched, and his skin burned. He hadn't eaten for as long as he could remember, and he felt empty and weak. Stumbling, Ryo fell onto the sand. A hot wind blew over him as he lay, ruffling his hair. Pushing himself up on his arm, Ryo spluttered as sand flew into his face and collapsed again. He again tried to lift himself, but fell and his vision faded, turning to black.

02:03:36 Nov 23rd 08 - Mr. Delran:
"This makes sense! We need to rethink everything. This action of theirs requires a bloody reaction. The blood spilled 100 years ago, both keraitin and olkun'utian, all those people who died.....only to make some bloody traders rich and give them power? Every victim cries for revenge! And by God, I shall give them that!"

02:12:50 Nov 23rd 08 - Lord Cedric Deallus:
Dak waited back at the HQ and continued training his troops. He was close to getting his men back into perfect condition, which would help out in many areas. He worked hard with his men, feeling proud of their progress and determination. He also itched for an opportunity to go on a real mission...

02:20:39 Nov 23rd 08 - Sir Manwe:
[ooc: k, i'm too busy with school and stuff to participate very much, so i'll kill off my guy]]
Ryo recovered consciousness minutes later and tried to drag himself through the sand. Any movement was important to keep him alive, for he knew that if he passed out again, he was gone. His skin was dry and cracked, and his eyes bloodshot. His hair was bleached and full or sand, and his face was cut and scratched. As Ryo pulled himself through the sand, a flickering image of a convoy of trucks passed through his vision. Pulling himself up, he was encouraged by this and ran towards the mirage. Plodding through the sand as fast as he could, Ryo bled from his feet. As he ran, his foot slipped and he fell. Ryo's head struck a rock and in that split second, Ryo knew his fate. Then the world turned white and he knew no more.

03:17:04 Nov 23rd 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
"I realize this, Delran, but first we need a plan. Let us proceed to headquarters and hold a meeting. We must have nobody but Admiral Wolfe, General Rell, you, Grand Admiral Xarxes, and myself. We can then make our plan," said Septim.
|
07:10:23 Nov 23rd 08 - Mr. Delran:
"Very well than! Lead the way! I am not familiarized with this town. Just got here!"
|
07:18:11 Nov 23rd 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
Septim got into one of the transport trucks with Delran and the convoy went off towards New Kerait City, upon arriving they walked to the HQ and into the meeting room where Septim summoned Admiral Wolfe, Grand Admiral Xarxes, and General Rell. When they arrived, they took a seat, and for the first time in one hundred years, the Keraitian Council was having a meeting. "Gentlemen. I have recently learned the horrible truth as to what happened that night, one hundred years ago," said Septim. "We have too, sir, the Dragons sent the information to us first, then it was relayed to Fort Kerait," said Admiral Wolfe, "Now, I am guessing this meeting's purpose is to discuss what to do about it." "Before we launch any form of attack, we need to plant spies in their ranks. We also need to know what technology they have, and how to make it, or we'll never be able to compete with them. After we have a modern army, and we know what we're up against, we can attack," said Septim. "And I suppose I will be in charge of the intelligence gathering," said Admiral Wolfe. "Of course," said Septim. "My team and I will be off to Iellus City tomorrow. I will be taking at least five of my intelligence officers, and around five of our soldiers," said Wolfe, "I hope we don't look any different than the average Iellusian, or we'll be in trouble..." "We cannot continue planning until we have your intel, good luck," said Septim. Wolfe got up and walked out the door without another word.
|
07:35:12 Nov 23rd 08 - Mr. Delran:
"Well, that being said and done, now we must focus on our defensive plans. In case Admiral Wolfe fails in his mission, or the Iellus launches an attack against us before he could get there. Our top priority now is to survive. And we must make contact with Olkun'ut. Anyone knows anything about them?"
|
08:34:36 Nov 23rd 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
"I doubt many Olkun'ut survived the nuclear war. They didn't know the destructive power of the atomic bomb, they more than likely had no shelters," said Septim, "But Iellus bombed us the hardest, that I know, so it is likely that a few areas in Olkun'ut might've been spared, it's worth it to look into it, but we either need ships, or we need to go through Iellus, before we can make contact. Going through Iellus would be *beep*ic, so I guess we need to make a ship," said Septim. "I'll get engineers on the construction of a navy right away," said Grand Admiral Xarxes. "We don't need a whole navy, yet, no sense spending materials on an obsolete design. Build a Deathblow landing craft, but make sure it's able to get back to Kerait Island. That should be enough for our mission," said Septim. "Yessir," said Xarxes. "Any other matters before we end this meeting?" asked Septim.
|
11:19:37 Nov 23rd 08 - Mr. Delran:
"Defense! What defensive measures do we take in case what I said earlier happens? And I sure have my finger crossed for Wolfe."
|
18:26:17 Nov 23rd 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
"All we've got are weapons that were used a hundred years ago, more than likely obsolete tactics, and vehicles that were used a hundred years ago. But, we must make do with what we have. I want reconstruction of our wall to begin, I also want patrols around the Island. That's pretty much all we can do," said Septim.
|
02:42:11 Nov 24th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:
"Well, with that said, I must take my leave for a few other important matters," said Septim before he got up and left the room.
***
Admiral Howard Wolfe was getting old, at forty-eight he was losing some of his old stamina. He couldn't stay up as late, and he sure as hell couldn't run as long as he used to, but he was still as sly and creative as ever. He and his men had split up, and had agreed to only meet under extreme circumstances. Before going into the city they made sure that they looked like Iellusians. They got the correct clothing from civilians farming outside the city, and had copied their hairstyles. Now, on the way in, Wolfe was unrecognizable to anybody who knew him, for he was sure that Iellus knew who he was and what he looked like. "Name?" asked the guard at the gate to Iellus City. "Rowell Nuvena," said Wolfe. "Occupation?" asked the guard. "I've done about every job around in my lifetime," said Wolfe with a grin. "If you want to be a smart-ass, then you can just stay outside..." said the guard. "Fine, my last job was a mechanic," said Wolfe. "That'll work, head on in," said the guard. Wolfe walked into the city and looked around. There were no flying cars, or masses of robots, there were only citizens walking amongst strangely built buildings. The TV's were thinner and bigger, and the cars looked different, but little had changed. I doubt they are going to let the civilian population have space ships. Iellus probably has all the high tech in guarded buildings... As Wolfe walked around, he sensed somebody following him. Such senses were made in his business. He did not turn around, he walked into a bar and sat at the counter. He ordered a water and drank is slowly. He then got up and walked to the bathroom. Before going to the bathroom, he opened the only window in the room and walked into a stall. Shutting the door and holding his feet in the air, he waited. A minute later, a man walked into the bathroom and then ran to the window. He jumped up to look outside and Wolfe opened the stall quickly and aimed his KS-9 pistol at the follower. "In the stall, now," said Wolfe. "Don't shoot!" he yelled. "In the stall...now" said Wolfe. The man who had followed him looked to be twenty-five years of age. He had an athletic build, brown hair, and blue eyes. Wolfe pushed the man into the handicap stall. "On the floor," said Wolfe. The man knelt down on the floor and Wolfe shut the stall door. "Who are you?" asked Wolfe. "I am Batha Vel-Dumar, don't shoot me!" he yelled. "Who do you work for?" asked Wolfe. "I work for the Serillian Revolutionary Army, I am an ally!" he protested, "Please don't point the gun at me!" "So far I have seen no proof that what you have said is true," said Wolfe, "So the gun stays pointed at you...why are you following me?" "You are a Keraitian! You can help us!" said Batha. "I am not a Keraitian, they died long ago," said Wolfe. "You are a Keraitian! You use a KS-9!" yelled Batha. "Keep your voice down, or your brain matter will be on the toilet. I found this in some ruins, I know not what you are talking about," said Wolfe. "Please...you must help us!" said Batha. "Do you have anything to offer in return for my services?" asked Wolfe. "Yes, we are planning on taking a Iellusian base, there are blueprints on their database! You can have them!" said Batha. "Fine, I will help you," said Wolfe. Wolfe put his gun away and let Batha get up. Batha and Wolfe then left the bar and walked off into the city.
