16:48:29 Dec 26th 07 - Mr. Killer: *The snow falls heavily, all the while the soldiers continue onwards. There would be many across the lands, seeking to take over more land and grow more powerful. Killer observed them from his chair far above them, where they would not see him. This will be interesting, he thought.* Right, this is a game where you try kill the other guy. You have soldiers at your disposal, and so has the other guy. Each troop can only move so far... Can move 1 space at a time. 2 = Archer, can hit up to 5 squares away, has 1 defence, and 1 attack. Can move 1 sapce at a time. 3 = Crossbow man, can hit up 3 squares away, has 2 defence, and 2 attack. Can move 1 space at a time. 4 = Knight, can hit one square away, has 4 defence, and 8 attack. Can move 3 spaces at a time. 9 = Commander (you, the person thinking about the attack and stuff.) Can hit one square away, has 20 defence, and 5 attack. Can move two spaces at a time. If (s)he dies, you lose | = Wall of (insert colour here). 5 defence. A = Rock, troops can't move past, can shoot past, indestructable. B = Tree, troops can't move past, can't shoot past, destructable, having 3 defence. The reds are against the golds. You have to get past the wall, or kill the commander. Only ranged troops, that can shoot over one square, can shoot past objects, as meleé fighters can only hit one space away. There is also weather, which affects the battle. This one is snow. Troops slow by one space, with a minimum of moving one space(unless you don't want them to move.) You don't have to move all your troops, or any of your troops. When attacking, the attck hits against the defence. E.g. if you had a spearman(2 attack) atacking a knight( 4 defence) you have 2/4(a half) chance of killing the knight. The knight can't kill the troop at the same turn, only when it's his go. Another e.g. A knight( 8 attack) attacking a spearman ( 3 defence) will have 8/3 chance of killing the spearman, in other words, the spearman will always die, as if it is over 100% chance (1/1, 2/2, 3/3 etc...) he will always kill the other troop. So... everyone understand? There will be more troops, and some of those troops may not be there, different batlefields, and YOU(hopefully). As many can join as they want, 24 max.(this many won't join, so you will be able to join, in case you were wondering about my reasoning.) I might get someone else to look over battlse as well. When moving, you just show all your movements on the field, with colours and stuff still in the right spot and troops. However, when attacking, unless it is over 100% chance, even if it is 99% chance(it won't be...) tell me who you are attacking, with what troop, and then I'll complete the board afterwards(I'll work something out to show what troops are where, maybe something like on a chessboard, with letters and numbers on the side. Of course, this might be difficult when I'm planning to have 3 or 4 people on the battlefiled if there is enough players. Also, I suggest leaving each move at least 5 mins after each post, as the other person may edit it... You just have to copy it down, and move your men. And Wraithish, you won't have many knights, they are more expensive than the others. And as for bonuses... ugh... too hard to work out with them in, I'll just forget. If one more person joins, I'll play too, and if two more people join I won't. We will start then. And, I've decided that you will only be able to move a certain amount in each game, so you won't have to do as much, depending on how many men you have got. | ||||

There will be different troops other than these ones, but you'll get the idea.. And also, new troops, ones that fly. They can move over other troops, but cannot end a turn above another troop. Only other flying troops and ranged(troops with more than 1 range, e.g. archers, catapults) troops can hit them. In the following game, the weather is fine, no hinderances to any troops. Both players can move 10 troops at a time. Troops can only move OR attack each turn. Sorry about that big OR, I had to grab your attention for that part :P. Read all of this text as well, otherwise you might not understand it. Post any questions you may have. First, here is the prices. Each player, red and green, get 15,000 gold. Here's the troop prices... and descriptions. Prices, attack, defence and movement may vary between games. In the case of a real game, there will be markings, like a chessboard, along the board, and you will say, say R18(sorry, had to use a far off one so you wouldn't think it like a chess board, just the same style with more letters and numbers) attacks R17. I will then see who wins, and will post the board then. Anway, this archer here has a 2/5 chance in killing the enemy, as he has 2 attack, and the foe has 5 defence. He wins, and kills the enemy. Now, although I would love(...) to go through the whole game, it would take far too long. It is now green's turn. Now, as you can see, the green catapult(7) can hit the red eagle rider(8), BUT he can hit the red commander(9) as well. In the case of a diagonal, a ranged shooter can't simply shoot that way at all, and neither can a non-ranged one. Also, if you look up in the top tleft-hand corner, you will see a green spearman(2) He is about to attack the wall. So... the green catapult(7) shoots at the red commander(9), with a 20/25 chance, as the catapult has 20 attack, and the commander has 25 defence. Or, if you wish to break it down, 4/5 chance. This is pretty good... BUT, he misses, so the board is the same. However, I suppose you forgot about the lowly spearman(9) in the top left corner. Tch... Well, he has a 2/5 chance of breaking through, as the spearman has 2 attack, and the wall has 5 defence. He attacks, and doesn't manage to break through... Unlucky green... *Killer peers down from his position. He sees his forces gathering. He sees the others' forces gathering too. He flies down upon his Pegasus from his chair, and lands in the middle of his group. "Let us go to war!" he yells.* Right, here's the line-up for the matches. I won't start them all at one time. I'll go last, so if someone wants to join while the others are starting they can do so, in my position. These are completely random, apart from my own, but the person playing me is random. You're colours are assigned according to what colour it is in your name. I also wish to know if anyone is colour-blind. I'm not too sure what colours they could distinguish, so tell me(if you happen to be colour blind) what colours you can distinguish. 3 colours is necessary in each game, the other one will be black on the boards. The colours are shown, but if you're off by a shade, it doesn't matter. I'll try to get the oppenent's colours as different from each other as possible. Huh... you edited your post... Well, it's a sort of knockout. The losers of this round won't get to play again at any rate. I was hoping for the next round there would be the four winners all playing each other, and two would go through, and then play each other. However, if more people join I might, if I get them in, make it different, with 3s in it, or maybe even 5s, if there is enough people. | ||||
