00:13:41 Jun 21st 08 - Mr. Arvious V: Oswen was reading through the 'Artifacts' section of his library. The old man could almost know where anything in the world would be just by reading the history of the item. He had found several in his lifetime, and know, he was trying to figure out the greatest mystery known to us. The Crown of Countries. According to legend, just wearing it gives you complete control over the elements, and immortality. The Original text said, "The King of the land An his final sleep Oswen had trouble understanding most of the text, for it was writen on a tapestry many centuries ago, rewritten in the exact language the King's nation spoke. Then, suddenly, a man in fine clothing came in. "Hello, how may I help you?" Oswen said. "I see you have your eyes on what I have mine as well," the man said. "Tell me what you have so far discovered." "Well, sit down, and I'll get to it." After a couple of minutes, Oswen said, "Well, the only thing I've discovered is that the Hallow Horse is not a steed, but a place. Where exactly, I have no idea. And the place where all people weep... it could be the Garden of the Lost, which is a cemetary where Willow grow everywhere. And the world's nest... I have no idea. Not even my notes held answers after going over it there." "Where are your notes?" the man said. "Do I look like an *beep*? I'm not going to let a stranger know where my notes on everything are." The man sighed, then said, "Then you are of no further use to me." And he pulled out a knife from hsi pocket and stabbed the man in the neck. *** "After searching the area, we found that there were hooveprints all along the road, so we should be able to track down the killer." "Did you find anything else?" the Sheriff said to the Officer. "Nothing except this notebook, sir." "Put the notebook back into the library shelves. Good day, Officer." Then, a man dressed in tan clothing came troting by. "Hello, Sheriff. My name is Arvious, an old friend of Oswen. Were you able to find the killer?" "No, all we found was a body with a knife in his throat, tracks of a horse, and a old battered book." Suddenly, Arvious turned white. "Where did you put that book?" "In the shelves. We can't let you have it, as it may prove eveid-" "No, not evidence, but it's what that man was after, no doubt. That book is Oswen's book he writes notes in. It has so many routes to artifacts, it might as well be a compass to all the mysteries in the world. May I see it?" "...I suppose since you knew him best, you may have the book." "Thank you Peil." And Arvious ran into the library and pulled the book out, and read his last entries, and then he couldn't feel his body anymore. "He's after... the crown." And he quickly put up a notice for a group of men to aid him. Arvious V-Help Wanted

10:09:17 Jul 1st 08 - Mr. Crapius: A little more detail would be nice: Hunched over table of old papers, an equally old man is pouring over a set of books, in a language long forgotten by the quite, happy people that fill the village. He's tired, but then that's nothing new, he'd been tired ever since he accepted this job, he had spent years translating the book, but only today had he peiced together something significant, something other than the blood-chilling warnings that he grew so tired of. He would put the book away for tonight, and send a message immediately to Thelios tommorrow. He stood up slowly and painfully, the flickering candle casting his shadow against the wall receding and jumping forward again whenever the flame was disturbed. He closed the book, watching it shrink to fit in the palm of his hand, which bore the mark of a carrier, in any other hand but his the book would become large, and alarmingly heavy, as a looked upon the book, he noticed his marks had begun to fade, his time would soon be up, and the book would be passed down to another, he just hoped Thelios hadn't gotten sidetracked as he usually did. Bending over to put the book under the floorboard, he heard a faint hiss, a hiss less like a warning, and more like a prediction, the room dropped in temperature several degrees, "Oh God" he whispered, "not already". A man threw open the door, bringing in a gust of wind that could have knocked down an average man. He stepped in, seeming just slightly to large for the door, "Bane, what are you doing here" taking another step closer, he drew a long raspy breath, "You know what I'm here for, now hand it over." "I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about." He drew back his hood and looked around the room, then slowly began taking off his glove, to reveal a long, mottled hand, "So be it" he swung his hand around the room, and the lights went out. ***
