| 16:35:07 Mar 3rd 08 - Prince Calus Septim V: [[OOC: Hmmmm, I just said messages didn't I?]] *** Messengers are sent throughout the city to soldiers, mercs, guards, teachers, blacksmiths, farmers, mages, and even their apprentices delivering letters from High Command asking that they take part in the war. *** Emperor Septim goes out in front of his men. "Troops of Erabor! Gordia has attacked us, and failed! They are weak now, so it is the time to strike! For Erabor!!!" ***A week later*** Topal marches with his four men, a small amount of land seperates them from Gordis, the capital...Emperor Septim points his blade foreward and the men charge, including the mercs. They reach the gate and men bring a battering ram forth. The gate breaks down and they run in to be met by the town guard and militia, and a very small amount of soldiers. Topal draws his two handed blade and stabs it into an enemy, he then blocks a blow from one behind him and kicks him into the wall, Topal quickly draws his dagger with one hand and slits his throat while blocking a blow with his left. He then pushes his blade foreward and cuts it into two men, he is forced to abandon his blade and draws his longsword and his shortsword, he blocks two blows and stabs his shortsword into an enemy while blocking a blow with his longsword, he kicks the enemy down and slits his throat with his longblade. He looks around to see that the battle is finally over. He sheaths his two blades and picks up his double bladed sword, he sheaths that on his back and approaches his men. "Good work, did you work together?", asks Topal. "Yes sir!", says the men. "Good, that is why you lived to fight another day!", says Topal. "A grand fight that was!", says the Emperor, "And you will all be awarded with plunder!!!" A total of 2500 gold is given to each of the warriors who took part in the attack. [[OOC: I will assume everybody that took part in the defense took part in the attack...so Zryike is the only one who didn't recieve this money and honor...]] Topal returns to Erabor with his men that are now in full iron chainmail and are using iron longswords that were looted from the dead soldiers. "You are all dismissed", says Topal. Topal walks down to the blacksmith. "What do you have?"
"Here is the list!" Iron dagger - 50 gold Iron shortsword - 75 gold Iron longsword - 100 gold Iron claymore - 150 gold Iron double bladed sword - 150 gold Iron platemail (full) - 300 gold Iron platemail individual - chestplate costs 100 gold, the greaves, boots, gloves, and helmet are 50 gold each. Iron chainmail (full) - 200 gold Iron chainmail individual - 100 gold for chestplate, 25 for each of the other pieces. Leather armor full - 100 gold Steel dagger - 100 gold Steel shortsword - 150 gold Steel longsword - 300 gold Steel claymore - 350 gold Steel double bladed sword - 350 gold Topal buys full iron platemail, a steel double bladed sword, and a steel longsword for 950 gold. He then sells his old leather armor, iron dagger, iron shortsword, iron longsword, and his iron double bladed sword for 245 gold. He returns to his house with his new items and goes to sleep. [[OOC: Everybody who participated in the battle has gained a rank. Might gets two more men I get two more men everybody in the army gets two more men...]] Topal is awaken by the arrival of two more men, ranked Mercenary, knocking on the door. Their names are Marcus and Garrius. They give him the news of his promotion to Lieutenant. | ||||

| 15:10:47 Mar 4th 08 - Prince Calus Septim V: Xarxes walks down to the Mercs Guild where the man at the door salutes him. "At ease soldier", says Xarxes. A man walks up to Xarxes and gives him full iron platemail and a steel longsword. Great, right after I buy it myself... Xarxes is then given the job of clearing out a bandit camp on the edge of town. He takes his six men and wait outside the camp. When a bandit leaves they kill him, steal his gear, and hide his body. Upon having seven uniforms they go the the camp and sit. The twenty other bandits are drunk, and don't notice the difference. Xarxes and his men each walk up behind a bandit, and stab their blades through their back, killing seven. The remaining thirteen get up and attack, so Xarxes draws his double bladed sword and attacks. He kills one, blocks another blow, stabs, parries, and before long, they all lie dead in their own camp. Xarxes retrieves his armor and weapons from the spot they left them and returns to the mercs guild, he is given 700 gold coins. He dismisses his men, goes to the blacksmith, sells his second steel longsword and iron platemail, and returns home to sleep. | ||||

Delran switch the blade on the left hand and continued the duel. His oponent wasn't used to fight with someone wielding the sword with the left hand, and Delran had an advantage. Dodging a blow, he quickly strike at his oponent and wounded his right arm. Unable to fight, he surrendered. *Wraith decides to train his band of recruits. He hires a great archer from the nearby academy and they spend a whole day training and Wraith is impressed by their skills. He wished not to fight as he had more important thing to do, but the other politely insisted, so Delran had to accept. The moment they draw their swords, Delran said to himself that this would be a short fight, and it was. Combining a series of maneuvers, Delran gave his oponent blow after blow. The Captain had dificulties to block or evade his blows. When Delran thought the time was right, with a swing of his sword he disarmed his oponent.
