18:42:59 Oct 11th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:
Leaning on a wall, eating an apple. Just looking nonchalant, Erunion is thinking hard. Bloody town. I just wanted to resupply, but this damned spies been tailing me since I left my inn. Probably working for the local government. Maybe I should be doing the same? No, they'd probably tie me up for the next fifty years or so, and I never did like taking orders from young whelps. Well, I guess I'd better do something. I know, I'll just walk right up to this Fer'ien person, tell her who I am, and what my intentions are. At least then I'd be able to ditch this spy without getting a bunch of guards after me.
With this noble resolve, Erunion marched up to the city hall, still munching an apple. Seeing a guard, he asked; "Where might I find this Fer'ien, who seems to be in charge of the whole proceedings. I'm new around here."

19:10:00 Oct 11th 07 - Mr. Dakarius:
Dakarius leaves his tavern in his usual human form, not caring about the spy that has been stationed at the inn. He winds his way through the city, expertly followed by the spy. Sad, Dakaius thinks to himself, he thinks he is being sneaky. A normal man would never have detected this master of stealth. The spy follows at a distance, and rounds the last corner in an alley, where to his suprise his target has dissapeered. He turns around only to find himself staring into Dakarius's eyes.
You are mine, Dakarius hisses, and suddenly the spies eyes go blank.
"You now will follow my orders unconditionaly"
*the spy nods*
"You will continue as normal, but will report only what I want to be known."
"Your next report will be that the one thought to be a Dragon was merely an adventurer who had managed to slay a young dragon recently, that is why he pays in gems. Aditionaly you will report to me anything the guard decides to do as well as the details of the guards leaders."
Dakarius now has complete control over a spy.

Fer’ein felt annoyed that these unseen factors were continuing to
plague her. Still they were acting exactly as she had expected. There
was only one slight anomaly that she was about to deal with.
She knew who the person was before they knocked “Come in” she said
A nervous looking spy entered “You wanted to see me?”
“Yes I did, it’s about the person you were following. The person we
thought to be a dragon. You gave us some compelling evidence against
that idea. But I have some questions about that, for instance why were
some men killed and then turned into ashes”?.
“How do you know it was them, it could easily have been just some ash?” He asked nervously
“One of the men wore Quaborum, quite resistant to dragon fire.” she replied
“Oh well that’s how” replied the spy shakily
“My next question is how were you able to get the information, did that
young adventurer tell you? As far as I know young adventurers fight
anything that gets in there way.”
“He-” said the spy
But before he could finish the sentence Fer’ien replied “Az Morde!”
suddenly there was silence in the room, then the spy fell to the ground.
“It seems the mages were right he really was hypnotized” she said to the man who had come out of nowhere.
“Take him away” she said curtly. It seemed the dragon had hypnotized
him, luckily dragons weren’t to good at it and there were always a few
traits that humans possessed when hypnotized by dragons that gave it
away. Mainly the fact that the human in question always smelled like
sulfur.
“Now then about those 50 dragon slayers who were they led by again”?
“Haymo” replied the Captain.
“Haymo well, well it appears we shall have a giant dragon slayer in our hands” she said.
“I’ll get the money to them right away” he said.
“Before you go Captain tell Altair we have a target for him, his target will be Verll. Give him all the necessary information”
OOC: Yes I know the name’s a total rip-off of Assassin’s Creed but Altair is to awesome of a name to pass by.

Beleqwaya had entered the inn with little trouble. He had also slowly
began to use his mana to change his features little by little. Every
time he went by a corner so that by the time he had gotten to the inn
no one could have followed him.
He was at his table for less then 5 minutes when he noticed Jonny
Bacardi though they had never met he knew enough about Xyphos to know
that Jonny Bacardi had been one of Xyphos’s associates and he had
scried on. What was he doing here he wondered to himself.
He considered for a moment on what to do. He decided to follow him .
But not before bringing his mana around him for a moment and then
letting it go. By the time he had exited the inn 6 different versions
were walking after him.

Finally he was about to enter her office, she had expected him since
her guards had entered the room to warn that he was coming. The Duke of
Naergothrendar if he was anything like normal Duke’s today would be a
long afternoon.
“The Duke is here ” said the guard outside the door
“Let him in” she said with a sigh
The Erunion entered the room entered with a flourish, he was dressed
well but the way he stood told her that he had a certain amount of
mettle and that he had trained as a warrior.
“Why are you sending spies after me? I have done nothing wrong” he stated
“Actually you’ve done a lot wrong, you came into this city without
announcing yourself as if you were in hiding, not only that but you
have your own personal army that you could use to your advantage if you
wanted to attack. ” she said
“I dislike drawing attention to myself, and what if I have my own personal army it doesn’t matter” replied Erunion angrily.
“If that isn’t enough there are rumors going around that your kingdom
plans to go to war with the dwarves in the Akroel mountain ranges. A
magic user as strong as Xyphos Celestin would cripple them.” she said
nonchalantly
“What my King does and what I do are two very different things” Erunion snappishly and then turns around and leaves.
“Well that was unexpected” mused Fer’ein

As all this was going on a man jumped from roof to roof looking for the
Silver Inn that would house his target. Altair would search it out but
he had little doubt of his prowess to hit the man. In under an hour he
had found the perfect hiding spot at the top of a bell tower he was now
almost impossible to see by the human eye.

Dakarius had been asking around for information all he had learned
about Xyphos Celestin was that he had killed a lot of people and that a
lot of these peasants were really blood thirsty. But he had talked to
one Holy Templar that had called him “An unholy blight upon this world”
come to think of it a lot of templars were in the city.
OOC:If a person is given a name then they are special and strong they
can't be killed like how you guys killed the spies also people like
dragon slayers also can't be killed so easily and if they're closer to
guarding the Xyphos or Gems or highly ranked military officials.
The reason
your getting this update today instead of Sunday is
because of someone plaguing me to do it, I won't mention who it is but
you know who you are >.>

Tiber sat around his table with his sister and friend, they had just planned their operation in silence, using only the blinking of their eyes to communicate. It was a form of communication they developed, it worked rather well. They went out and had dinner before heading back to the inn to sleep.

Damn, that was annoying. She seems to think I'm part of this Elven kingdom in the area. All I wanted to do was get some food and get out of here. Then Xyphos popped up. I guess I'll have to keep him from escaping without being part of the official defenses. Bloody lady was too arrogant by half. All I did was ask why I was being spyed on! She assumes too much, too.

We have an emergency response set up so that when the worlds about to explode, all the Naergothrendarins teleport to a different one... So most Naergothrendarins here have lived in 3-4 different worlds...}

The begining of the end of the elven empire can be traced back to the murder of a single Dragon1. When the ancient2 wyrm Mesphira was slane for her hoarde and her valeuable blood A previously unknown Dragon of indeterminable age went mad with fury, and proceeded to lay waste to the elven empire, then the most powerful empire the world had known. The Ravenger3 is presumed to be Mesphira's mate. For three years The Ravenger desimated the elven empire reducing their population to a fraction of its size. Finaly twelve of the most powerful spellcasters of their age, representing four races combined their power and called down the power of chaos upon The Ravenger. Fom witnesses a blinding white light struck the Dragon, and it was no more. The Ravenger was declared dead, despite the lack of body as evidence. Despite the fact that the raging dragon was stopped, the elven empire was shatered beyond repair, heralding the end of the elven era and the dawn of the era of humans.
1. Dragons can be classified into three categories. Dragons proper are highly intelegent and magical. They will continue to grow as long as they live, and Dragons do not die of old age. Dragons will usualy only stay on this world for 50,000 years (assuming they are not killed before) before either ascending to a higher plane, or becoming one with the world. Wyverns are identical to Dragons except that they do not poses intelegence. Drakes are smaller than Dragons and wyverns, lack forelegs, and are used by many kingdoms for an airforce (wyverns usualy being to big)
2.ancient refers to an age exceeding 1000 years
3.Most Dragons are noted upon discovery, with their names recorded. the Ravenger had never before been seen. his age, based on size was estimated at around 45,000 years.

Jonny Bacardi decided he needed to rest up. Big day tomorrow and all. It was just too bad that it would all end in such a bad way, everything could have been avoided with a few words, a nod of the head.....
"Stop telling yourself that, eh! Its not true." Jonny shakes himself back into alertness, before falling into a nice sleep. There was no way his perfectly planned execution of Xyphos could go wrong.....
