If you click close gates and if there are no walls it will say gates are open. Would be nice to have a little update so that when you build some walls and click close gates the game says - gates will be closed once some walls are build. Like to remember that command for when walls come. There is a guy that keeps sending messages to people saying to remind him to close gates, because he put walls to build and forgets to close next time when online, so if there is a flashing message icon he then will remember to close the gates once he reads the message.
