He PMed me asking for an era long NAP. We were attacking RET and LGC/ preparing to, so we could do without someone else attacking us also. I did not however want an era long NAP. I sent him a message asking if he would like a CF instead as I did not want a NAP. He however ignored this for 20mins or so, and during that time attacked my kingdom.

I havent ignored it, I wanted a full era nap so i dont get attacked by your kd for the full era, not just kill legacy and retribution then turn on me, I am defending myself from future attacks.

Now I will say again; he did not just reply to this PM after taking no action but he attacked some of Fusions players without even trying to continue any negotiations.

I then went offline for a large amount of time due to some problems making me unable to get online. When I got online once more I found that Gladiator had continued attacking my kingdom. by this time several of my members had complained about these attacks to me; so I approached him again this time with a NAP offer, due to the fact, to put it bluntly, we didnt have the time to concentrate on taking him out while we were making sure we had enough troops to defend against legacy and ret. Below is another extract of our conversation.

Also why did you atempt to takeover one of Mr. Stones Throws cities; when we were in the middle of these negotiations? either you stop such dishonourable behaviour or the NAP is OFF.

Do you want this NAP or not? because if you do stop attacking while we are negotiating it because it is downright dishonourable.

and you may not care to die but did I not offer a NAP? and I want the cities back because my members are giving me hell atm, and because they need them or they will have to restart.

At this point Gladiator was STILL attacking us, despite this conversation regarding a possible NAP taking place at the same time.

I then recieved this Message, at which point I posted this thread.

Look, I am preparing those attacks with good %, if you decline then i will click on attack and take over button. If you want a full era nap good, if not then ill continue attacking. here are the conditions

1. We have a full era nap, that you cannot cancel. We cannot attack eachother
2. I keep all the cities I have, do not give back any
3. The cities i am preparing an attack, I will not take over if you accept
4. I am not honorable, I am very honorable and strict, so you better respect your word!

So not only has he been attacking us throughout this conversation; he also had the nerve to tell me he was very honourable, when he is clearly trying to take advantage of our situation.

He also went on to say in the chat he was not attacking but "stabilizing his position", something along those lines at any rate.

Anyway, I think I have made my point: do NOT NAP him.

Yes I know that Charley and we are doing so; however I posted this because it is dishonourable and why other kigndoms would want to let him in after this I have no idea.

Alban, you have posted the proof yourself, and on top of that theres a member in your kingdom that couldnt believe his eyes why I was attacking your kingdom and that he tried for 3 days to change your mind for a nap, after i took his city i gave it back as a present even though we are enemies...

And by the way I was attacking while you were trying to negotiate with me, i told you i wont change a single thing, its a take or leave... I told you earlier from when i took over 2 cities only, that you can accept the nap anytime, and the more you wait, the more cities you will loose but I can still accept that full era nap anytime. You should have accepted a long time ago... but you never did and while till I saw this topic the offer was all up to you, but now your chances are gone.... youll have to learn it the hard way like me when i was young!

In fairness Ilia you cant really attribute him largely to the damage done to DB last era. The combined efforts of Glad with WOL and BOW were what damaged DB. If anyone deserved special recognition it was CxC who went with very little sleep to keep the majority of DBs forces occupied.

Obviously without Glad and the others DB could have focussed more on CxC but there is definately a difference in class between Glad and CxC. Glads play is suicidal, he always dies and plays in a way that does maximum damage rather than playing for the long run, CxC played in a way that allowed him to consistently put out armies. Which is a main reason why Glad died. I would go into it but this post is draggin on a bit.

Oh but in regards to being honorable and all, he has done nothing wrong, Alban is a whiner

Listen to this: 'time is money' - try to learn diplomacy, before leading a KD. Do you expect a good warrior to wait with a strong army until an undecided guy like you wakes up?. I don't know the position there, but I assumed The Gladiator wanted the deal with you, because he had an army ready for attack, he had a target (other than you) and he needed a deal with you to cover his back. If you didn't want the deal - he just changed his target; not hard to understand, is it?
