That I can't have an opinion on. Because age 30 was my first.

BUT. I was challenged and loved it though I was defeated. A defender actually had a chance compared to the other game I played (while waiting for a PBEM turn of Call To Power) called Artifact.

Artifact somehow looks like this, just much faster. Even a strong ruler could be wiped out while being offline for a few hours. That didn't please me much.
