More eras ago than I care to remember, G and I were proud members of PKS.  In fact, we joined them because Noob Table (who we were in) acted dishonourably, stabbing them in the back over an agreement that NT decided to claim never existed when it suited them.  We turned the tables on NT that era, and went on to help build the PKS name for honourable play over a great deal of time.  In those days the word of a PKS Vice was as good as a solid gold seal.

We left PKS when their tactics started resembling those that we'd objected to from NT - making "half agreements" that they could deny when it suited them in order to get into attacking positions.  They claimed this was "strategy" but we still saw it as dishonesty.  So we left.

When PKS reformed recently, we were pleased to see them back and (it seemed) trying to uphold the values they used to stand for.  It seems we were wrong.

For most of this era on Zeta, FLL has been honourably and effectively battling against enormous odds and they deserve respect.  Until recently they've been fighting against us, Dendarii, ROC and PKS.

PKS have a MAP with Dendarii, so an enemy of Dendarii SHOULD be an enemy of PKS.  But, over the past couple of days, PKS have decided to ignore what a MAP means and form a NAP with FLL because they're not managing to advance in their war and want to attack us instead.  So, they have broken a basic requirement of a MAP just because they've got bored waiting.

Incidentally, the information above about the relations involved have come from multiple sources in the KDs involved so we have no reason whatsoever to doubt them.  So,  PKS are reverting to the backstabbing ways that led to their downfall last time round.

We are though, and at least one member of PKS is, so there's hope for the good guys yet ;)

Does make you wonder what the point of making agreements is, though, when you can't trust the people you make them with and that damages the game :(

Ok, it seems there have been a few misunderstandings going on here.  We only saw it from our side, where a KD we'd been fighting alongside suddenly NAP'd an enemy who'd attacked us OOP.   We'd also been hearing worrying things from one of the other KDs and were trying to calm that down as well when this happened.

There's no way we were going to have peace with FLL this era seeing as they came straight into our core OOP and almost wiped us out - we weren't going to stop fighting back just because some other KDs started fighting them as well.

With the extra info that's come out since I posted this I can see that the reasons were a lot more complicated than they seemed and that it certainly wasn't a clear case of back-stabbing - but it sure as hell looked like it from here as those 5Xs started moving towards us ;)

Maybe a lesson for all here that, even in war, talking to the other side can sometimes be a good thing ;)

Now don't relax too soon (some of you)......

We have a MAP yes. And we agreed to respect your NAP with PKS (we have not negotiated with PKS, we just accepted the situation).

That is the only deals RoC have made this era and the only kingdom we do NOT expect to attack us is DMC. If PKS does, well so be it.

what the matter is? Did we make something bad? DMC are in winning side, so with our help or without this changes nothing ;) so i not see any point discus about that. I will say again, if someone want blame PKS, blame me and send me a private message.. ;)

Besides i was vice of serenity when NT were around mr whoever you are :P (i dont know who dragon masters or blitz are so cant comment ) I still got the ability to inspire mini rage <3

Well, got to see some of the very best of PKS in the last few days of the era - they may have been flying our flag but cracking defence, guys :)
