We have a NAP with USSR - negotiated with their leader Leninov - or so we thought. One of their players attacked me. I asked Leninov why. After a LOT of shillyshallying and evasion it turns out that we only have a NAP with half the Kingdom, so it's perfectly Ok for the other half to attack us. This is what he said to me:

"You must understand first the system of government by which the USSR is run. You have an NAP with the North Core Soviet Socialist Republic.

It is possible that you may not have an NAP with the South Core Soviet Socialist Republic, which is led by People's Deputy Marshal Millenuim. It would be best if you took your case before the local People's Deputy before me, as I can only advise him."

I told him (very politely) that this was not how this game works - here's his answer:

"Like I said, the USSR is an entirely different political system than any that has ever existed before." and went on to say it was OK for their southern leader to tell his players to attack KDs that the northern part of the KD has a NAP with.

Clearly he's in need of some re-education. May I make a suggestion or two for Mantrax players.

1. If you have a NAP/MAP with USSR. They can't be trusted. They will attack you at a whim. Get them before they get you.

2. If you have no NAP with USSR. Very smart of you. Kill the untrustworthy scum.

3. If you are a player in USSR. Your leader is a fool. Leave and join someone who knows what they're doing.

4. If you are Leninov. You are a fool. Too bad.

Yup, they started attacking us as well ... they asked us to leave them alone and then there wouldn't been a war. We left them alone and suddenly an uprise of USSR armies upon my people.

Shame on you guys! As you can see, USSR isn't the same USSR of last era (in Zetamania) lead by Leonid Breshnev. That was my gang, and loyalty and respect for new players were one of the main rules we respected.

This is the funniest thing I have ever heard.

Kingdoms in Mantrax better check which fraction of USSR you are allied/NAP with. By the above explanation, if you entered NAP with Mr. Leninov, go attack USSR southern faction. It is ok. If you entered NAP with Mr. Millenuim, go attack USSR northern faction. It is ok.

BTW, how to differentiate if a USSR member belong to North or South Core Soviet Socialist Republic. Slice the Mantrax map in half (North and South)and see the location of the USSR player cities or armies? He could be "untouchables" in north but moment he moves south, he is fair game (and vice versa). I think this is very interesting and is the only way Mantrax kingdoms know which USSR armies/cities to attack/NAP. ;-p

Now if you enter a NAP with USSR with a USSR player beside Leninov or Millenuim. Please check which faction this fellow falls under. Who knows, USSR might even have a West Core Soviet Socialist Republic and/or East Core Soviet Socialist Republic.

This gotta to be the greatest joke for this era.:-)

Don't NAP USSR and kill all of them.

Spooky, it's the same on Fantasia. Made a NAP with Cannabis and three of their members decided they didn't really agree to it and kept attacking us. Which we were taking care of until Abydos decided this would be an opportune time to attack. Gotta love those guys.
BTW Falazar says tomorrow our kingdom is going to fall apart. They have been trying to recruit PKS members... maybe they talked one into it. So maybe we will all go to a different map after they wipe us out..... yeah.

Everyone makes mistakes, as does Leninov obviously. He's on Mantrax to learn as well as all of you. The few experienced players there are there to teach the new ones. Hence my presence.

All our NAPs count for the entire kingdom, no north or south section as it would be impossible to define someone 'north' or 'south'.

As of now, all USSR relations will go through me. As I told you spooky, your NAP counts for the entire kingdom. Mine as well as yours.

manuel velez, fantasian republic was a very small kingdom. once earth peace, draconis clan, and herbal essence all died (they were also small, powerless kingdoms) some members started the fantasian republic. im pretty sure it died days after the other, V and carnage were tearing through the area

Let me tell you a little story: Once upon a time there was a warrior named 'The dark II' He was scouting the area with a small army of his, but unfortunately he halted near a city of a kingdom named 'USSR'. Immediately he got a angry message saying, "if you attack my city our kingdoms will become in a hard war! Leave now while you still have the chance!"

The brave warrior left the city at once, because he wasn't in search of any war at that time ... But a few days later he saw upcoming forces from members of the USSR (Forre and Dimmler). They raped their wifes and children and slaughtered every man in his towns.

I hope I made myself clear and that it was you guys that started this and now we act like your kingdom behavior.
And for any CF I would counsel my kingdom, ofcourse they know what you did as much as USSR does ...

As Leninov has decided to maintain leadership I feel as though the integrity of USSR is lost and have therefore resigned my membership.

As for Mr. Manuel Marulanda Velez I don't do mudfights. However, by dead weight I'm referring to those players who join the kingdom for it's emblem and thus protection, not participating within it.
