Mielo, some people keep their word no matter what some people dont think their word is important, thats why you have nap breakers and rules lawyers who spam.  frankly people should just play the damn game.

What really should be done is learning most of the current players some ethics. Back in the days people respected each other and respect had value (at least in a sense where they rather get killed then pussy out with a few hundred naps ...). Now a days all you guys do is whore, nap and point fingers.

Agreed. Players nowadays need to learn how to not townswap like Dark Blood or get other kingdoms to do their dirty work for them like JUICY :)

Perhaps we should do a case study of prime examples of kingdoms with all the henious qualities that you speak of. Dark Blood and JUICY would be prime examples. What say you? :P

this has been the case since the game's core gameplay was created... so this mostlikely will never change. we can keep debating this but as people leave they are replaced and the whole thing starts all over again...

You do realize:
A. You weren't even playing when DB did that one townswap. Many were against it, yet it happened. I would say that we shown more loyalty and respect towards other kingdoms then you could ever possibly come up with. But then again, stating that to a man of no standards, no honour ... Is a foolish thing to do.
B. That you are the guy, who joins a kingdom and suprizingly by the end of the era, they show hardly any morals anymore? ... Not saying you haven't got a finger in that, but actually I'm sure you do.

Basically, you are a big factor in twisting this games ethics to the little or nothing as it is now.

TBL stop talking about the failed DB experiment (and its second incarnation Juicy). If you stop talking about them, their former members will go away.

so funny TBL jumps into this thread to bash DB and Jet follows right behind him... TBL known for cross logging with other players- known for feeding and town swapping not once...not even twice..lol and yet he jumps in here to speak of a kingdom who he had no dealings with what so ever.  Jet who cant make his mind up - and forgets completely that i was in his kingdom for a really long time and could name countless things that went on in that kingdom. 

Oddly enough the town swapping incident that TBL keeps referring to involved Legacy and was actually a town of Legacy's that they begged one of our members to help them swap between their own kingdom members and yet some how when that topic comes up it's always DB being talked badly about and not Legacy.

This game should be called hypocritical utopia if we're going to rename it.  People who would rather flame people and kingdoms for something they themselves do in the game constantly -- you both are pros at that but then we all need some accomplishment in life dont we ....

btw Jet- if DB was such a failed experiment why do you cry so much over it?

I quite like the game as it is. keeps you on your toes. I didn't play in the 'good ole days' but I am sure players were dishonourable back then as they are now, this is online gaming afterall. It is boring listening to the same old grandad line of 'oh back in my day...', it is a blinkered view and utter nonsense

TBL whoever fed you the information on Raistlin is appearantly wanting you to look more stupid than you do on your own.  Raistlin never "townswapped a bunch of 90k cities" from anyone in DB-facts again wrong as per your usual rants twisted truths-  The big flame fest against DB was because we  kicked inactives and took the cities for our own- which is the norm in any kingdom and Raistlin was not the only person in the kingdom who acquired said towns.  Raistlin has never needed to be "fed" to win an era ever.

You seem to bring up Prosapia alot and tie it to Dark Blood and it was a completely seperate kingdom- i'm sorry if Prosapia stomped you but talking badly about DB because you got beat by Prosapia is just silly- as is talking about Raistlin when you have no concept of what went on.

Anyway- thanks for missing me and Dark Blood so much means alot to all of us that you just cant move on with your lives and must keep us in the topic of conversation, it's obvious how boring the game has become without a REAL kingdom to stand up against the loser patrol.

Interesting post Ryan. Iwe been doing abit of diplomacy this era. Im still a VU nooblet but learning as i go.

I think one of the main reasons that things are as they are is that everyone and their mother are busy keeping their relations top secret. One of the first things i did after being promoted to Vice was to contact one of the Fate Vices, to see if i could get an overview of what was going on. The response i got was of such character that i probably never is going to be interested in having any relations with Fate whatsoever. The locked door mentality is simply to much, remember i wasnt even trying to get us a nap or anything, was just asking super simple basic standard questions.

As for ourself i can tell you that we hit the breaks big time when comes to napping. We currently have 3 functional naps and i strongly doubt that we are going to need more. It was very hard to convince the local VU players that we actually didnt need the naps, but that the game is playable without them. Another thing to mention here is that the naps that we actually wanted we had to work realy hard to get. It took over a week of diplomacy to get 1 of them signed. So i dont think you are correct to make a statement that eveyrone is overnapping at all.

Anyways. What would be interesting would be to open up on relations and go public with what maps everyone have. I got some vague ideas on who is napped to who. But of course cant be sure. I strongly doubt you have a better overview than i do. But it sound slike you think you do.

As for your own kingdom. You fill in the role of a joker this era. You are a big kd that lands in a lesser world. That means that you can run it more or less completely without naps and move in wherever you want to at this point. I wouldnt be surpriced to see Crazy armys at our borders soon. I do think that would be a waste considering the size you gained from landing where you landed.

The thing you completely misunderstood about my approach Julie was that i wasnt fishing at all for any information about your relations. I allready knew all i wanted to know. I was curious about how you handled your diplomacy and i got all the information i wanted :-)

Especially after last era, we felt that it was no one's business who we did, or did not, have relations with.

I dont realy see why not tbh, unless you actually got something to be ashamed out. Wich i honestly doubt you do from looking at the maps. All it accomplish with the closed door mentality is that Someone like Ryan is going to Make posts like the one he have made here.

Deno, the game is played this way. It's not a closed door mentality, it's an invitation only door mentality or something ;) either way I applaud your efforts to change it and c'mon whats wrong with this thread? kinda low on flames but still fun I thought ^_^

like i said swifty- look at the scores and explain how a few towns from inactives gave Raistlin the win there's no possible way -- regardless.. if the player was going inactive knowing we'd kick them they would move their troops out or we'd ask them to so that isnt that juicy of a story it still wouldnt have given Raistlin the win regardless. 

But- lets talk about what else happened that era shall we? Lets talk about how Legacy/Revelation pursuaded Raistlin to help them townswap one of their blockers from one kingdom member to another so that they had higher magic protection and couldnt be CW'd by Osi's kingdom-- lets talk about that shall we? I mean if we're judging kingdoms for what they do explain that one away...i'm sure everyone would like to hear how the kingdom that is oh so judgemental on inactive towns explains townswapping of active players?

Because I'd really like to know if you would be hanging your head in shame if you managed to pull out the win that era knowing your kingdom townswapped to protect it's core- and not only that but flaming the same kingdom you asked to help you do it now... like i said....you're all a bunch of hypocrites lol
