*hug* Sounds as if things have been up and down for you. Sorry to hear you and Kevin got into it... hopefully it's something you two can fix eventually. The way he talked about you, I think he was proud of you and wanted only the best for you. The kids are doing well - can't believe I have one starting high school and one starting college. Time goes by way too fast. Enjoy every minute of your time with your daughter. Soon she'll be in school... then graduating! Don't know if I'll be heading back to VU. I took a peak last week and it's changed quite a bit. Plus, I spend a lot of my computer time on WoW (World of Warcraft).

Well of course we (and with we, I guess that includes all of us from the old gang) remember Kes. And we kind of miss her.

The reasons are many, but mostly she did a tremendous job keeping all to use a decent language in our threads and to "see" each others as friends more than competitors presently being in the same kingdom.

But she also knew how to use and play the game. No doubt about that.

This just to acknowledge Orisses post - it was very good to read new from Kes, though the reason why this came public was sad.

The leadership is in shambles, over half the kingdom has given up or gone inactive on their mant character... and many members have pledged to leave ROC after this era

The kingdom operated without a leader, by committee that is, for a long time while the now infamous Kev was away.... Kev comes back and recently there was an issue with Kev and zond... Kev leaves again and here we are

This era has been ruined (almost) for me and alot of the loyal members of this once great kingdom... it is a great shame... i will return to mant with this character once again as will many ROC soldiers seeking new shelter.... (i do not want public solicitation)

I feel that this is the end of the road for ROC.... maybe someone else will want to fly the ROC flag, but i will fight my last battle for ROC this era... To all the ROC members that have fought alongside of me, i wish you the best of luck in the future and I hope our paths cross again!

I've given ROC my service for 7 (maybe more) eras, but I cannot fix whats wrong within ROC

Nothing is "wrong" with RoC. With 18 members (12 active) RoC still do well. And no kingdom have more than 19 members including their inactive.

Take a look 'round the kingdoms and the HOH-lists. Many players - really many - have left or gone inactive just as I during the last 2-3 weeks. In protest.

So no, problem is VU itself. Partly because Zeta have abandoned his game but in my opinion mostly because of what I called "Bright Brains" actions last age(s) on Fantasia and Mantrax.

I have not decided yet if I will return as active, it will surely depend if "people" stop using certain spells as game-spoilers and also stop exploiting glitches in the gameengine.

mcmax i have to disagree... the problem this era was kev and zond not working out a very MINOR issue... it resulted in the whole kingdom losing over half of their peasants with some nasty plague and some of us losing a lot of troops

for some of us in the kd, its time to move on

I have now read the threads about Zondy and the nap-break, which Kevin did (no doubt about that in my eyes).

But.... why in earth did any of you even think of doing anything diplomatic with Zondy????? He is just as "hot" as BL is. And he always will be in my (not so) humble eyes!

But well, when "you" choose to be inactive your opinion doesn't matter much. Maybe I should reconsider my status next age.....

Yes I casted plague, not because of him breaking the NAP. That was being resolved, but when he sends me messages again and again and brings up my family. Um no, he will die. And i was asked why not just kill him, reason is because he is the leader. He is responsible for his actions.
