LOL well brainiac I was in a merge with a *beep*l;oad of archies and was supposed to be sitting in a blocker not attacking, however somehow my army was moved out despite me not even logging at all yesterday, but obviously because you are such a great player then you know that simple math means that a lvl 1 troop for dwarf gets you more bang for your buck as long as you dont have to pay upkeep, but then being such an esteemed player as yourself you would know that and dont a neeeub like me to point out the obvious.

as For Dark our problem was that too many chefs spoil the soup, we had a plan and unfortunately we had a few people who have experience at VU but not at being part of a team and they mistook *beep*ishness at this game for *beep*ishness overall, we had a plan that worked very well when our people did what they were told and then not so much when they did their own thing, some of them were very good at VU the actual game but they didnt understand that winning battles mean nothing winning wars means everything.

either way Ive learned a lot from fighting gdnubs and ret, and FF even though I still think they are asshats for declaring for the reason they did. I will try to be more sociable as some of the people Ive met so far are pretty decent but RL has been kicking my ass recently so I havent been on much.

anyway this was a fun Era and whoever won it deserved it, its called virtual war for a reason and being an astute politician and resource dev is obviously a key.

Ryan if you can read Ptah said pump lvl 2 troops only for blockers all races except Orc ;) right? yes? the fact about using lvl 1/2 troops instead of the stongest one is a bit truth for Dwarf more OP/DP less gold but the fact that you need way more peasents , you pay way more upkeep :)

I agree we had some overconfident *beep*s that cost us, one of them was a so called veteran of a few eras who disregarded our plan to do his own thing, so to avoid complete disaster we tried to modify our plans because He did stuff on his own that put us in a bad position. This issue has been dealt with and I doubt we will have it again, number of eras doesnt translate into tactical knowledge. We are learning and not doing too badly. this game is fun and aside from a few asshats most people are pretty cool.
