00:46:03 Jul 28th 10 - Emperor Palpy Has New Toy Deathstar: well it was an attempt on my part for a vet so to speak to lead by example since i do take what he says seriously but it is burrowed in the message, and the power lost, by the language etc. I don't mind saying that three players Danygraig, Moonshine and Jade( all ex warbook) and all from That side of the great divide were the three who encouraged me in joining this game but also cautioned me it WASN'T warbook and if i was to take part some of my previous antics and forum wars wouldnt be welcome...that the game takes honour and naps etc far more seriously and that the forum is MODERATED to cut down forum abuse etc. i think my argument is validated on two points...1) you can't use such language etc in ingame messages you are "beeped" AND you are often prompted with a warning before you post that you could be banned for your comments...so it is quite clear that the game intention is to fight hard but clean to be different to other games that just become vulgar insults which does not just put people off the forum(choose not to read) but lesson's their involvement in the game. I would happily tomorrow write a lovely and witty song just for raistlin to show you can insult someone's gameplay without the rest....my olive branch to TBL since i probably, in hindsight, ougth to have spoken to him in pm first(though the result would probably be no different). till tomorrow!

01:48:27 Jul 28th 10 - Endless Dream: Palpy, you're new to VU and a virtual nobody to the old VU crew (as are most of us new players), but you've been around long enough to know that the majority of the insults on the threads are for the game characters or game play/style insults and are not real life insults. Anybody carrying them from VU over into their day to day lives have bigger problems then VU trash talk imo. You're also aware that Moderated Forums in the sense that you want it to mean doesn't apply and never has... so perhaps if you have certain requirements that aren't being met you need to post a suggestion for it in the Suggestions Forum instead of the In Game Politics thread.
