No one is pounding their chests. Maybe if you had not tried to strike a weak Shaolin flank while Shaolin was warring with Black Flag (thus making it a 2v1 war), and instead had waited until the Shaolin/BF conflict had concluded, Shaolin wouldn't have been forced to take up the CF offer.

Kobuttstain, our relations and leadership decidions are monk business. Im sure anyone who knows me knows that i do not approve of naps or cfs. so if we decide to do such it is with good reason. Seeing as we missed extinction at the hands of madd on countless occasions due to their countless mistakes and despite their bug abuse, i would agree that we would need to cease a 2 vs 1 war. It's simple really, Insane prepped on me from within a city so I was completely unable to attack his army. I couldn't even move to attack his city even though his army was very weak. I ended up having to merge my way to his city hoping he didn't take mine in the process.

not abuseable? He used a weak army to hold back an army that could nearly slaughter him, if that's not abuse idk what is. As for recreating it, that's definitely doable seeing as it happened. When I asked about it in the KD forum people were familiar with it, so it's likely been done before.

I suppose Insane just felt like sitting in his city with his army for about a day, building that city with no intention to leave it and attack me? That makes sense I guess.

Shaolin and black flag had a grueling OOP war.
MAD and someone had an easy OOP war from what we could see.
MAD and Black Flag 2v1 shaolin
Shaolin held off the assault for a while.
Aussie and Heavenly wrecked some MAD cities.
we CFed blackflag
I killed some MAD armies
Kobuskan complained about the CF
we all killed more MAD armies

in latest news, I had about 80k zerks RoFed, followed up by a plague cast on an inconsequential city (funnily enough, the plague will hurt MAD more than Shaolin)
While some would consider this a feat of strength, we consider it a feat of foolishness. One must question - if that MP had been spent to halt oncoming black flag and Shaolin armies before hand, instead of on a few glory casts when it doesn't matter anymore, perhaps MAD wouldn't have toppled? So hats off to "Looser", for a few nice casts on my army, and also for making it 10x easier for us in Shaolin and Black Flag to eat your kingdom.

we have lots of interesting conversations but we do it in skype because its a much better means to have a convrersation. That goes for football and VU and other things. itd be a bit wierd to have a thoughtful discussion in one place and then come onto the vu forum and put on a show like we havent already done it before.

besides, why is it down to us to start a conversation? if you want to talk about something seriously why dont you start a conversation instead of knocking what others are doing?

I made some good friends through VU. Met 3 of them in real life.Am very happy to be able to know and interact with such great peeps.

They add colour and breadth to my social circle. Which is fairly big and I consider many of my friends as true, genuine ones (and yes, they are all "real life").

I suggest you tone down your rhetoric. You seem to have no clue how the VU forums / social circle operate (whether in the past or now). Don't presume to judge everyone here, especially the old timers.

The forum is "dead" because the game itself is dead. When there used to be 200 to 300 folks logged in per hour, now there's only 40. Some days 20. That is enough explanation for why the forums are not as lively as they used to be.

In my opinion everything is fine. This is diplomacy and kingdoms game. You always need think two steps forward. If you have even ally, remember they can betray you or some shit happend. So Kobuskan and rest can't be angry because of this.

Next think about one of member who coplaining about bug where army stuck. Well I think it's not a bug, You got traped. They played very smart. :)

Roheran, I met Rob (Imperator) when he came to Malaysia for an internship, and Ben (Gingerbread Man) when he came to Singapore for an exhibition.

About 3 weeks ago, I met Ivan (Chade). We had drinks in a pub in Knightsbridge - he drank a ton of Stella, while I gulped down 2 pints of Guinness and turned very red.

In the future, I will be definitely be meeting more of my VU pals (Stormy, Sean Sean, Julie, Pingu, etc. are all on my "to meet" list :D)

thian's right. the forums are dead because this game is dead. Time was I would wake up every morning to around 60 posts in the kingdom forum and around several hundred in the general forum. the flame wars were just as epic as the game ones. Now? For that matter you would have a good 5-6 large kingdoms on fant with a bunch of minor ones. Now?

the only reason i still play is exactly because of my friends here, some i have known for over a decade.
