I've almost always been outnumbered by enemies by a factor of 15 or 20 to 1. If I put the price at a level so as to deprive the ability to native (a strategy that a disproportionate number of players depend upon) then I can garunteed that my food or whatever tends to get bought first. Almost all of my market play is to block the native prices or make them so low as to force actions out of the norm of people's typical strategy over the past few years. Chaos, however small, is what I appreciate. I like being a catalyst and forcing reactions or actions that deviate from the normal rythm. That is all. I don't derive enjoyment so much from outmaneuvering armies but rather from stirring the pot in one way or another. If you can't grasp that after playing with me for years, then I don't know what to tell you. Any era that gets the usual players to do anything different is a win in my book. If I have to be a martyr for trying to induce variety, so be it. Theo is Lawful Neutral. Always had been. The characters behaviors are predictable. The goal is to induce the same outcome each era. Dragons. Dragons are as close to random chaos as I can achieve. This character does not deviate from the above. If that makes it an enemy to your character, you know where to find me. I forgot for a moment your whole gameplay is to build cities for people to easily take and to lose money on market so that other people can lose money as well. And you say when that happens your goal is reached. You kinda think of yourself as a "neutral" kingdom, thinking its cool to have a different kingdom than all the rest, the rest who work on getting better in the game, teaching new players, and improve gameplay over time, which does not happen to you in all this time you've been playing. People do not consider you as a "neutral" kingdom, but just a guy who builds cities for people to take. By the way, not hating at all, just giving you an insight on what people think when they see you on the map. But like you said before, you enjoy that kind of gameplay, and that is whats important as long as you're enjoying what you're doing, go for it. For $2 you may be lucky to find a wholesale hungry dwarf buyer. I see no issue here whatsoever. This is the risk when you try to control markets.
