about Zeon... That may be so...I am too new, but as Quietone and I discussed privately...all actions against Zeon I am familiar with is with Zeon teamed with others so you may be right...

But they do have some outstanding players and when teamed with others, as we saw when they allied with Phi...there were definately contenders...

Music & Jester... I do not know enough to comment on...I am too new...

PK...They do not get the credit they deserve...I will always say that...

that's because pks is a kd that cant stand on its own.  as osi pointed out, lapdogs.

Thunder:

If you where capable of real thought you would never have made the list like you did as it has no basis in reality whatsoever. If you want serious comments, dont post bullsh*t, savvy?

Then again, I doubt you are capable of posting anything that even remotely makes sense (judging from what I have seen you spew out on these forums).

Z -> Mafia -> Legacy (the history is quite long, so yes legacy is and has always been a top KD).

my quick little list, since you wanted me to point out errors of your list, I just made my own. :

PKS : are getting better than I first saw them, I still see them as much lower than abydos or DB or LGC. But they atleast manage to survive on fantasia every now and than.

Carnage : I guess this is a top kingdom too, I personally have a strong dislike for Carnage because they always make mass MAPs. But I do think they should get some credit for holding off Zeon+PHI last era.

Abydos : Have been top for quite a while now. Have recently won some era's and most people have respect for them, even though I still believe last era made them lose quite a bit of their reputation.

Legacy : have been a top kingdom for a long long while now. I have respect for Legacy and they are a good bunch of players, even though a few of them are quite... anoying..?

some Oldies :

Mirror : I saw them as a top kingdom too, haven't seen them in action much for the time I played. But I would put them on the same strength as DB. not entirely sure of this though.

Vendetta : haxorz!

Music : would class them higher as PKS. But lower as the other kingdoms...

Zeon : classing them a bit higher than Music , but lower as the others :P

PHI : they were era dependant, they had their good era's. But they've had very bad ones too.

lol....hence the word nub...to create a list of present, future, or past kds is un-do-able...you can';t compare the the three kinds vs each other simply basted on rules.also some important kd members have come and gone from them...but simply based on LGC's postion in the whole thunder list means my jaw wont be able to shut for the rest of the day....i'm not new to this game, but i'm not a vet, and i'll be the first to admit i'm still learning a bit of history, but i don't open my mouth to make claims of things which i have no idea of....seems we have another Thunder bashing thread...what a bore

Most of you have been here a lot longer than me (hell I am still learning) but since I have been around, this is what I have seen... I could be wrong and if people can resist the flames, this is a serious outlook and I am curious to see who agrees/disagrees and why...

Not really looking for a what??? We could kill so and so... this view is not about that... Just a quick look at some kingdoms...

Top Kingdoms...

Carnage: Always been a top kingdom, some ages are better than others, but they are always a top kingdom.

Legacy: They were not as strong when I started, but every era they seem to get stronger and stronger...they have definitely evolved into another top kingdom.

Abydos: They were a top kingdom, but they seemed to get weaker and weaker each age. I do suspect we will eventually see their return as a front player though.

Zeon: Were always a top kingdom, but this era they lost players I believe and fell quite a bit. No longer top kingdom material, though Like Abydos I suspect we will see their return again.

Medium tiered kingdoms

PK: I have watched them get bigger and better and continue to develop into what will be a top kingdom while everyone berates them. I suspect a few eras down the road we will see them in the #1 slot. (Be prepared for more flaming pk...but ignore it and keep getting stronger and stronger). It could be argued they are already a top kingdom, and if not, they are about as damn close as you can get...

DB: Not a top kingdom, but not a bunch of chumps either. They have some VERY GOOD players, Although not a major force, they do play a big second tier role that demand some sort of relations. Either you hit them or you peace them, you cannot just ignore them, when allied with a top kingdom that can make or break a war.

Bottom tiered kingdoms

Bow, Redhand, falcons...etc... whatever they are called, it is always good to have them nearby... cities are always claimed by those they are near. They are however, the top bottom tired kingdom.

Eternity: Some good players, but a lot like BoW

Everyone else: Free cities

Hard to say...

PHI: I understand before I played that they were quite good but then they disbanded. Last era they teamed with a very strong Zeon and together gave Carnage a run for their money. During this time DB kept PK occupied and Aby kept FF & Legacy occupied, so Carnage was essentially on their own against Phi/Zeon... It was a stalemate for most of the age, Phi/Zeon began to push Carnage back from a developing north, but the more the pushed the closer they got to a very developed south and Carnage was about to really make a push into the Zeon southern core.  This was actually a very fun era with a lot of strat and equal kingdoms keeping each other busy.

But back to Phi...Allied with a strong Zeon, they were a MAJOR FORCE...But would they have held up against Carnage without Zeon? I'd have to say no, do to how close the era with zeon at their side was. That and the fact that this era, w/o Zeon...they fell fast.

Jester: I miss them...They were quite strong as well, I was still too green to be able to judge them fairly, they seemed a force, but not as much of one as ABY was that age. I know Carnage had soundly defeated red hand and was moving toward jester as the era ended, but I never got to see them really fight, But I got the impression they were quite good. I am sure some of you can better rate them.

Mirror: was a lot like PK is today...I was sorry to see them go. I actually started with them, but Music/Jester wiped us out and that is when I personally made the jump to carnage.

Music: I was sorry to see them go too...Again to new to judge them fairly, they seemed like a top kingdom...Others who knew them could judge them much better.

Osi-as for regards to fighting them to know their strengths, you must also look at the improvements in the rules, as stated and the improvements in yours and their playing styles.i'm sure your a better player now, knowledge wise therefor if you played the old you, hypothetically you should bash him to pieces.
Look at it like this, England had a bad-ass navy back in the day, but now a days, your navy doesn't make nearly the difference it before. so unless you can change with the times and still fight with your new skills it doesn't mean that much....you can be such a great dwarf and be so good that you keep your KD on the top, but if you can't stick them in a wall to defend your core and keep out quick moving Orcs  then your now sunk...do you at least agree with that statement?

Phew...where to start lol.

Legacy....totally wrong on that, they were the best KD....they didnt just appear overnight, they dominated for ages, which is why everyone expects so much of them....if anything they have been declining...anyone who doesnt agree with that is insane. A top KD of course.

Darkblood - Middle Tier...lol. OK. Guess that would mean Carnage is lower tier since they needed PKS to join in to beat us? Anything i say will be seen as biased so i dont see the point in correcting you on how much better we are than you rated. *We #1 =)*

Abydos...you said they were good, then have been getting crapper...wrong. They improved and improved, but recently have declined due to inactivity of leaders and regular members. But yes, a top KD.

Carnage....you seem to see Carnage as Legacy members see themselves. Carnage is probably the only KD that hasnt improved, they win by numbers, very few players actually are skilled. They stayed the same, if not got worse. Look at this era. You couldnt even beat DB and yet you rank them as a middle teir KD. You had to ask PKS to do the dirty work.

PKS...i wont dispute you saying they are improving. DB saw first hand last era and this era. However, they are not a top KD yet....but they are on their way certainly.-Mid teir

PHI....were a top KD, but went into a tail spin after losing big members and dont have much left except a few good players. Dunno if they will recover. Mid-Tier.

Zeon - Not a top KD like you said. I would say they are as good as PHI are right now. Not a KD that you ignore....but 1 vs 1. They couldnt take any of the above mentioned.

WOL*LDK/BOW* - We will see next era.

Everyone else. Lower tier and either hasnt had an impact. Or is just a poor KD.

Aight, lets see if I can do one of those ranking thingies (rank in order of appearance);

The old Z core:

 Thats Zetas Zealots, Mafia, Legacy and some sat KD's we used when trying to circumvent the relative size penalties (you had insane losses when killing inactives...how about 30k killed to get rid of 50 lifeguards? -.-). These guys, moi included, have been up there for a long time. Always competing for the top. No other kingdom can claim to a longer history.

Abydos:

Once upon a time a lil nublet called Osiris spawned in the middle of my territory (after fighting for 1 week to dislodge fred from that valley..I get a new SE nub there, doh). Mercifull Valar left the fledgling Lord alone and later signed a NAP (which has held until today..some 30 eras later). Little did I know the new player would found and build the second most powerfull KD in VU history.

*beep* Table:

Il mag and sparker set out on a mission, to bring down Legacy and restore balance to the world. After several eras of getting their bums kicked ( was a lil harder to kill em every time) they got to a point where their organisation and dedication rivaled our own, suceeding in defeating Legacy in the field.

Sayan Empire:

Our enemies of old! Lead by Frederik, Tobler, princeling Sezy*beep* and Lightningwolf (?) they battled us for many many eras. Ofc we where WAY to mighty to be defeated by mere mortals (remember the burning riders sezy, hehehe). ;)

Mirror:

You may not agree, but mirror has had some very good rounds over the ages. Mainly around the time Jeroen and Jeker where playing (rmember the 6% raze i pulled on you jeroen?:D). Probably the only kingdom that could compete with lgc for...age! Was a sad loss when Azurac left VU.

"The Smiths"/Anti Legacy KDs

CBA to write about every single of those massive alliances dedicated to our deaths (the players where probably the same every time anyway:P). Always a thorn in our side (or hammer in the face depending on how the wars where going). The flaming was fierce, the battles fiercer still, but I think we all enjoyed it in the end;)

Carnage "The Orange Horde";

Venomz pet project! Who would have thought a KD packed with multies would evolve into a respectable force in the end? I'll leave the "does carnage have skill?" debate to other people as it doesnt change the fact that they HAVE accomplished something. Carnage is the living VU proof that there is something to the phrase "strength in numbers". Sure, diplomatic relations with the chaotic leadership gave me more than one headache over the eras...but I still lub some of you:P

Dark Blood:

Draik's and Q's pet kingdom! It has grown and evolved considerable since it was founded and is definately on the way to becomming what people like to call "a top KD". Ofc I would have ranked you guys higher but alas..q refuses to send me a picture. Keep it up mates and see ya on GW;)

Zeon:

Zeon is a reflection of Augh's style of play in my opinion; defensively. Build a ton of mines, build a ton of troops, sit around...and a few neat NAPs. Say what you want, but it seems to have been successfull here and there! I heard they got pummeled this era and guess it's kind of a crossroad for Zeon now. Either they emerge from the netherworld stronger than before..or fade away and die.

PHI:

Never liked you guys to be honest..except Zero who never shared my feelings:( I remember you guys popping up next to us some X eras ago, fighting like maniacs to stay alive and annoying the sh!t outta me. STAY dead ffs! You got better and in the end where a serious force in VU.

NARRSE/ARRSE/ect:

Now who didnt love Spooky and her merry men? This was a KS you could have serious fun with (despite them being old bastards:P). Was a real shame when you guys left, I am sure you would be up here and compete on fant otherwise!

Peacekeepers:

You guys are hard to rank! I still remember the days when PKS towns (no matter their size) where raze targets b/c of the rainbow strats. My dealings with you guys have always been professional and honorable and personally I am glad you are progressing steadily and building a rep as able fighters. Ignore the lapdog talk and keep it up, if people want to underestimate you, you should applaud that;)

BoW:

I've always been convinced that BoW's sole purpose in VU is to annoy people to death IRL. Imagine every dirty/annoying trick in the book...and you've got BoW! Never really got to that point where they could be considered a major power, but interesting to fight nonetheless!

I know there's  been a lot of other kingdoms, but I did not rank any who where only around for a couple of eras. Flame away:)
