Sorry...I'm just a bit upset about being a letdown to my KD...

Yeah. We could have just hold on little must longer, but end is the same.

I made a plenty of mistakes this era, which is good since it means I learned zounds of new stuff as well. Can't count how many soldiers I lost stumbling too close to enemy with scattered troops. More focus and minding about the damn freezes enemy can use to pick the armies away one by one..

There should always be some planning on defence as well. We just kept on attacking without protecting our own borders. Fantasia is not the same as Mantrax last era. When we were forced for withdrawal, there was no place to regroup and regain strength for changing the tide. And out magic sucked big time.

Poor preds they treid their best. ;-)

Well, it seems that the era of the Predators is coming rapidly to a close.  We started strong with a smashing victory over DR, and then decided to attack Peacekeepers.  Little did we know that they were allied with Carnage, the most powerful kingdom on Fantasia.

At first, the battles with Peacekeepers seemed matched; however, our tactics began to switch to defensive as our scouts took notice of the vast Carnage horde approaching quickly from the South.  We lost key armory cities on our outskirts in the deep South to Peacekeepers as we began to withdraw to our southern Predators Outpost.  Due to my own tactical error, we discovered quickly that Predators Outpost had a critical flaw as it could be bypassed easily, thus making our Southwestern entrance a critical attack point for Carnage.

To the East, we spread rapidly; at our greatest extent we sprawled out nearly to the Western reaches of Dark Blood.  Our armies pushed back the Peacekeepers nearly to their walls, and for awhile our commanders in the East had many triumphs and our people reveled in the glory.

Meanwhile, frontrunners of a horde of Carnage bugs were making their first appearances among our Eastern front, and proved troublesome to dislodge.  Peacekeepers, further bolstered by the presence of Carnage, were now able to turn to the offensive.

It was at this time that we reached our farthest in the East.  Quickly, Mr. Jonathan of Peacekeepers was sending his forces to close that door, with Carnage following.  Our presence was contested over much bloodshed, but we were overwhelmed.  I personally lost over half of my income from this drawn-out conflict.

Meanwhile, to our Nearer East, our commanders were quickly turning to the defensive.  In an attempt to hold back the congestion of enemy armies, we built vast expanses of walls.  Unfortunately, here too we made critical errors that resulted in gaping holes in our defense; Carnage and Peacekeepers simply could walk around them.  Very quickly our walls were overrun, and our last outlying outposts South of them were taken.

Notably, Zakira (one of our members) managed to hold out in the deep South for longer than the rest of us due to his sturdy troops;  he even managed to infiltrate the Peacekeeper Core to a point before being defeated and turned back.

Our far Southwestern wall at this time was holding back the Carnage forces, led a merge commanded by myself.  To the East, also guarding the Southern section of the core, lay another core block that was commanded by Mr. Nester.  Farther to the East and Northeast lay the rest of our barrier forces, led by Mr. Arespreditor, Raek Wan, Baldwin, Darkmarsbar, and others.

Zeon, who had been defeated by Carnage and fled North under our protection, had been building troops in our Southern core section as well.  They had several powerful mages, which helped one of our biggest weaknesses:  a lack of magic.  Zeon also was producing troops in preparation for the inevitable.

Mr. Nester, in a surprise move, led his Strike Force of over 500,000 men ahead of the large ( at least 12 corps, and more ) 500,000+ merge by Peacekeepers at our Southeastern Block.  He infiltrated Peacekeepers deeply South into their core, forced the Peacekeeper merge apart, and singlehandly defeated much of its individual forces as he led the chase South.  He also burnt several of the Peacekeeper towns to the ground along the way.  This daring move also destroyed our Southeastern block, but in the process it scattered the army sieging it.

About this time I fumbled and suicided my force of around 300,000 men in an accidental attack upon the large Carnage at our Southwestern block.  This immediately left our entire Southern section of the core open to attack.

To the farthest East, all of our towns were taken or destroyed except for the Northern-most.  Our walls against Peacekeepers and Carnage to our East had fallen, and they were beginning to plunder the our one-peaceful countryside.

The Carnage and Peacekeeper troops simultaneously invaded from all fronts, and we are now forced into the most remote pockets of our Core, with escape all-but impossible.

It has been a good fight, and I promise we will continue to defend our people until our last soldier has fallen in defense.  After all, who wants a swarm of bugs to take over?  This brings to mind pretenses of the far future and invasion by the Zerg.

I gotta say again, Predators learned a lot this era. I expect we will see an improved Pred kingdom next era and who knows how the battles will go next time around. Well played all of you.

Just brough this back up because I've been talking to one of the last Preds on Fantasia.  If anyone comes across Mr Leafblighter buy him a beer and offer him a home - the guy's got stamina, class and honour. 

Didn't get to know many of the others, but Everscape and Marsb*beep*emed the same.  If the rest of the KD are their equals, they can only improve the game if they stick around.  I, for one, hope they do.

For a KD new to Fantasia to take on one established for over 2 years, and only fall with extra pressure from the top KD on the world is something to be proud of.  Then again, it seems that established KD needs to call in the 4th placed one to deal with us @ 3 members.  But, all the same .... ;-)

For that new KD to be gracious about it in defeat, and honourable in their attitude to others is even more impressive and good to see :-)
