02:37:02 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Arch Shade: Where are you guys? I am in Maine.
02:56:58 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Sigheart: Considering the amount of stalkers on VU( I know your out there) I'll just say I'm in New England.
03:36:39 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Brutus: I saw you guys talking about Berserk...awesome series. Trying to find and read all the manga now.
03:39:14 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Titty Titty Bang Bang: Mr. Moe Lester
03:43:48 Dec 3rd 07 - Duke Epyon: Jet, are you the one with the ball? :)
03:48:06 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Zateb Kazim: dudes ripped
05:25:06 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Trogor: Why are you posting pics of half naked men? trying to say something?
06:33:36 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Titty Titty Bang Bang: Epyon: no I'm much more toned than that.
09:39:47 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Goldsie: AFL is great, I mean its far faster paced then most other sports. Soccer is for poofs and American Footballers cant take a hit. Rugby is enjoyable although I find is slow at points.
16:20:10 Dec 3rd 07 - Sir Patton: Jet's talking about positions and showing half-naked men. What do you THINK he's trying to say? ;-)
18:14:20 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Soccerfreedom: for those of u that think american football isnt physical http://youtube.com/watch?v=8C0lhv6sNjA just the first 3 minutes........... http://youtube.com/watch?v=Zmm8mTpMJPY http://youtube.com/watch?v=A1qtJIqMUpo&feature=related the pads are necessary for survival.
18:25:16 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Soccerfreedom: this one is just from the most recent season, which isnt even over yet.
18:34:53 Dec 3rd 07 - General Ezatious: well that goes to show how boring it is doesnt it ;)
18:45:05 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Revenge: Sorted
20:33:15 Dec 3rd 07 - Sir Patton: Yeah, let's see someone stand in front of a charging 300 lbs guy without pads and see how long they'll hold their ground.
22:40:27 Dec 3rd 07 - Dark Lord Osiris: they do in rugby :p
23:53:05 Dec 3rd 07 - Mr. Doggy: Rugby dudes in general aren't anywhere near as huge as American footballers. Add 70 pounds to every guy in a rugby game and they'd need pads.
00:06:50 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Squiddy: Well not really, because most of the players would still be the same weight.
00:16:46 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Doggy: I'm not American, but I do understand the physics of 600 pounds of man colliding at breakneck speed. And no soccer is for poofs cuz of the shorts =p
00:19:54 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Sigheart: I'm not American, but I do understand the physics of 600 pounds of man
colliding at breakneck speed. And no soccer is for poofs cuz of the
shorts =p | ||||
00:28:44 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Moe Lester: Jet: Granted you know more of AFL given its limited coverage here, but you didn't really refute anything.
02:34:45 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Trogor: American Football is better. Just stop making excuses about trying to see people in short shorts play with each other and watching people with foot fetishes kick balls around.
04:34:45 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Soccerfreedom: thank you moe. BUT, i, in fact, am a rugby fan. i was simply expressing the fact that american football definitely is a tough sport. i feel the biggest difference is that in american football the big hits are usually unsuspecting. watching most of my clips, along with an actual game, one can see "blindsiding" is very common, especially among quarterbacks and receivers. you never know where that safety is hiding just to nail u once the ball is thrown :)
04:39:05 Dec 4th 07 - Duke Epyon: Soc, fight me already :o
12:43:47 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Deadly: wowowo.. none of them compare to soccer..
18:09:59 Dec 4th 07 - Sir Patton: See guys? Only Swifty would complain at having to watch cheerleaders. How many guys want the job of lifting those girls up (among other things)?
19:12:04 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Soccerfreedom: patton wins the debate. hands down. well done....................
*walks off dreaming of cheerleaders*
20:30:20 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Squiddy: The simple fact of the matter is that only the *beep*s, like Trogor, no offence mate ;), who put up crappy little comments of, "American football is better", without even providing any form of evidence as to why, are defending the fact that football (global) and Rugby are better.
20:39:47 Dec 4th 07 - Sir Patton: Well, I'm willing to give you all Rugby as a good sport. While the players in football are heavier, they do wear pads, whereas Rugby players are of similar weight, yet aren't wearing pads when they hit each other. So I would think the pain factor is the same. ;-)
20:41:28 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Doggy: Well....someone can't prove that any sport is better... so we NEED to just be insistent jerks. While I'm at it I'll insist that apples are better than oranges since I can't find any proof. (yet....just you wait)
21:11:35 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Killstone: No oranges are better theyare jucier and amke a MUCH better juice! =P
21:21:16 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Doggy: *to himself* Oh no he didn't.... Apples Oranges (*) P<0.01. Subjective findings and objective data are presented in table 2. A significant difference between apples and oranges was identified only in the categories of colour and seeds. Table 2 Subjective and objective comparison of apples and oranges Apples Oranges P valueAs you can see, the clear conclusion is that apples are on average larger than oranges and have overwhelming superiority by virtue of involvement with Johny Appleseed. Although the differences were not exceeding the standard error rate of "alpha", I'm working on a study with a larger sample to prove once and for all apples are better. Check Mr. Killstone, your king is in threat. *turns up nose arrogantly*
21:23:27 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Dos: pears :)
22:06:02 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Moe Lester: Trogor, all you've only proven your utter stupidity and ignorance with that nonsense, not that Americans are any tougher than the British.
23:22:13 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Soccerfreedom: moe, as u very well should know, im thinking thats a joke ;) humorous as well imo :)
23:29:42 Dec 4th 07 - Mr. Moe Lester: Jokes are supposed to be funny. Forgive me for not laughing.
05:20:03 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Soccerfreedom: of course not............... i think its intended more towards americans.......... :)
05:42:36 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Dakarius: Doggy, your data absolutly sucks. Do you know what fruit is suposed to do? nourish the seeds and or get the seeds transport to another.locationer via the digestive system of an animal. What on earth would orange trees do with oranges without seeds?
05:45:48 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Doggy: Yes... I noticed this "study" had some problems....mostly because it was a joke. Check the "conclusion" though, pricelss:
17:58:28 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Killstone: also doggy a lot of the apple isnt eaten. the core is elft out while al lbut the very thin skin of an oragen is eaten. i do beleive that the phrtase an apple a day keeps teh doctor away should be preplaced with an orange a day keeps teh doctor away as oranges are far superior
19:20:47 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Squiddy: Nice work Trogor on proving that you are an *beep*, in fact, even I couldn't have done a better job!
19:29:25 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Revenge: This topic has gone through some weird improvements... american football, footy, rugby, apples and oranges? thats not even half lol
20:01:17 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Ridukuluz: well as a person who came from a country that has no football nor rugby sports, i can only point out things that i notice while watching these sports on television.
20:10:38 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Ridukuluz: I like Dallas Cowboys
20:12:46 Dec 5th 07 - Sir Griffith: "In terms of enjoyment, excitement, stamina, physicality, manliness, etc."
20:25:13 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Ridukuluz: Packers will not reach superbowl. Favre is almost useless now.
20:39:10 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Soccerfreedom: pats nearly lost to ravens................ losers!
20:43:17 Dec 5th 07 - Mr. Ridukuluz: oh i misread it. thought you mean packers.
21:10:20 Dec 5th 07 - Sir Griffith: yea but the Pats didnt lose a game they very well could have. Same last week against the Eagles. Patriots are unquestionably the best offense of all time and are in the top three of the best teams of all time. Ravens and Eagles were like every other bird of prey and were just out for blood ;) Hats off to the Pats if they go undefeated and win the superbowl.. but I am a die hard cowboy fan and I have faith in my team goin all the way baby! But should Favre play in the Superbowl with the Pack than he can rest assured that I am all about a cheese-head victory :)
01:22:24 Dec 6th 07 - Mr. Sigheart: Because of the fact that this thread is totally off topic and is
changing what it's about every other post I think I can change the
topic to why women are evil.
