Whitefly scales are the 2nd and 3rd larval stages of the whitefly. I guess whitefly's are common pests in many greenhouses and Encarsia Formosa wasps lay their eggs inside of their larva and kill them.
***If you have a whitefly problem in your greenhouse, go to http://www.buglogical.com/encarcia_control_whiteFly/encarsia.asp and order some Encarsia Formosa, they are reasonably priced and you can get 1000 for just under $20, or if you are buying in bulk, you can get 7 500 for just under $70, or .93 cents per Encarsia Formosa. For any Europeans who might be interested that is about 7 500 for just under 97 Euros. | ||||||
