15:37:45 Oct 15th 16 - The Real Josh (Peasant Fcuker):

So how is everyone elses era going?

15:42:36 Oct 15th 16 - King BurningLegion (Mr. Burninglegion The Silverknight):

The Houses of Mantrax had suffered intial losses but have rebounded.

05:00:00 Oct 16th 16 - Dragon Prophet Theophilus:

The cold took out a third of my population and economy. Well played.

11:20:35 Oct 16th 16 - The Real Josh (Peasant Fcuker):

Hahahaha who else did the plague hit?

12:14:18 Oct 16th 16 - Mr. Masterforeigner II:

a third of my econ was destroyed

04:38:27 Oct 17th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

Ferox guys, you are practically impossible to surprise. A group of highly active players, you are showing some extreme activity this era. We are very active as well, but I believe you guys are at least twice as active. There is of course the chance you are on same time schedule as our guys, but even when we change the time of the attack, you are always around, and you react within 30 minutes of the attack. You have never been an hour late, and only reason why Sir Hills made it through to your core is because I wanted to get exp so I sacrificed my army to get hit, but did not get as much exp as I hoped for, so that plan so crappy...

Well done guys, if you stay together for next era you will be super powerful I believe. I think at least half our kingdom will be taking a short break after this era, so I think there will be less crowd on the map next era :) Oh and obviously not saying anything is over yet, just making small talk about next era

Wait are you blaming us for ze plague? Im appauld!

12:48:56 Oct 17th 16 - Dragon Prophet Theophilus:

The flu is back with a veangance since last night.

A second cast?

00:21:38 Oct 18th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

What is the reason why you guys are settling so many cities around our core Ferox? I mean you are not able to defend them, and you're not using the cities for anything... I mean Aisha made us all send large amounts of small armies to defend all our cities out of fear for army of the dead, but from what we understand, you guys do not have eye in sky any more? So how can you cast aotd in our core? Why those cities?

00:30:02 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Trollin:

Maybe to bounce to? Maybe to move with bt between? Maybe for visibility?

00:41:36 Oct 18th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

They have no armies close to those cities, we are in their core, their armies are in their core, and they have many more cities left that they would bounce to, not to our core... They do not have any armies in our core either, so not for faster moving either.

Visibility is the only possible reason they might need it. But our cores are close by, placing 2k guard towers would give them more vision than that 1 guard towers gives for few ticks before we take it...

00:55:42 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Bling:

Tactics dear boy. There is method to the madness. If you havent seen it yet, you wont.

01:00:29 Oct 18th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

That was the reason why I asked.

I always listen to advice, and want to learn tactics :)
But if you do not want to share, thats ok :)

01:02:27 Oct 18th 16 - Sir Scimitar:

Does every kingdom have a guy that does nothing all era but build build and build, while the rest of the kingdom struggles fighting all the time, taking huge losses, having very poor income. The guy then comes up with huge income, trains a large army, comes to the battle, takes one city, gets high on highscores, and acts like he owns the place?

01:04:00 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Fecker:

yep, every era.

01:07:05 Oct 18th 16 - Bran (Mr. Bran):

having a farmer or two is an intentional part of my strategy whenever im in charge of organising those sorts of thigns. most kds have designated farmers, otherwise the kd loses momentum in late era
the being smug part jsut comes with VU

01:16:21 Oct 18th 16 - Sir Force:

06:33:31 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Elfenstein:

no matter what you need core defenders.. so there will always be a few guys that are there to just farm.. just like u have a mage or 2 and attackers.. as bran said its a basic strat in vu..

06:55:46 Oct 18th 16 - Sir Force:

I am pretty sure he was joking, Collective always has at least 2 mages, and usually someone that does stone to gold casting. While back when we were just starting we even came up with a plan that wasn't really good, everyone would settle a warehouses cities around the mage town and we would all get casted stg, but it was very dangerous to have that many cities filled of resources so that idea stayed only for that era. We might move slowly as a team, but that is usually because we always wait for people to be on at same time and attack at same time, that was one of the reasons why our attacks were always stopped, if enemy happens to be on at that time they are able to stop every army we send, might have been better if we sent many armies at different times.

This war was and still is very interesting, thought we have the uppear hand now, still far from over. I believe we are doing better due to our magic, not due to farmed up armies, thought when I merge everything together doubt anyone in Ferox could stop it. I think Sir Dilemma's bonus turns to jump to your mage was the crucial moment of this war, once you lost your strong magic, things went downhill. Was quite surprised you did not have defending armies in the mage town.

06:59:10 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Bling:

Lol, you guys farmed for 3 weeks :P

07:15:38 Oct 18th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

The difference between Collective and Ferox is that Ferox sent Bling and Hanky to fight RoC and thats about it right? You won your ooc war quickly, gailed war spoils and the rest of the kingdom continued to build.

You had two guys fight RoC and they lost
We had Leila and Demonic attack FW, they failed and retreated.
(you might have noticed you have not seen their armies in your core, they are on other front...)

How is your kngdom different?

07:18:28 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Fecker:

We fought RoC and 3 or 4 other GoT kd's. Very different.

07:20:26 Oct 18th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

You are comparing fighting people like Dragon and BL to fighting people like Bogdan and Blah... Come on, be serious.

07:23:02 Oct 18th 16 - Lady Leilah:

Few things:
Never underestimate anyone, they are all great players.

Do not justify yourself to anyone
The attack on FW was short and we did not do any damage
Just prepped, and as they got in more reinforcements, we retreated
And thats it, not a real war.

Ferox fought more and for that they will get the award for most warlike.

07:23:41 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Bling:

Doesnt matter, the sheer weight of numbers counted.

At one point we were 14 on 2. No matter how good you are, those numbers count.

And our big plan comes now. We've only just gotten started.

08:08:19 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Elfenstein:

I did warn our guys at the eras start that collective were going to be trouble with aisha leading them... a few mistakes were made this era by our guys..also we were like 1 step too late in setting up our attacks on you..

Its no big deal you win some you lose some (though i mainly tend to win lol) still refreshing to have a loss here n there..  vu comes down to activity as well atm mine is not as good as it can be due to work.. but once the xmas season is over i can once again be on 24/7 lol

09:54:28 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Blah Blah The Brutal:

"Just prepped, and as they got in more reinforcements, we retreated"

You retreated, but Bogdan saved Demonic the trouble ;)

23:52:22 Oct 18th 16 - Sir Scimitar:

There was a drastic drop in percentages of Ferox and Mr Teem, looks like they are close to death :) Good job RoC on west side and Collective on east side of their core :)

RoC does a strange move, sends most of their armies down south, Shaolins go and start taking their core. Still to see what happens there...

Not sure what is going on with FW, no vision, there must be some kind of farm fest going on there, save us some drinks and food! :) Mormonts and Targaryen rebuilding?

ROC, HM, HT and C are b!tchslapping us good :p

00:14:36 Oct 19th 16 - Dragon Prophet Theophilus:

Targaryens trio is rebuilding.

We arent out. And I would challenge those claiming BL or myself arent serious players to compete with a tiny kd. It changes things.

00:18:45 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Bling:

Collective and RoC reckon you guys are crap, but then again, they nap everyone most of the time so they wouldnt know fighting

00:19:42 Oct 19th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

Who said you are not serious players? Not me.

I said comparing to FW players, you two are not on their skill level. Considering Dragon you used to play 5-6 character at the same time and end up being easy pushover on every kingdom. Plus you both change kingdoms way too much, and comparing to FW or even to Collective, there is a difference, when people play together for a long time like FW are, they know what the other person is thinking and they need less communication to make plans and win wars.

Nobody said you are not serious players, anyone who had been playing the game for as many years as you two obviously know what they are doing. You just lack in teamwork, and consistency maybe. I believe you should have all stayed in RoC, as a larger group you would be much more competitive than as a 3 man kingdom.

00:26:03 Oct 19th 16 - Sir Scimitar:

How do you guys quote the post from someone?

I think old version had a  quote option, but can not find in the new one...
I usually just copy the text and make these dots...

  • 08:08:19 Oct 18th 16 - Mr. Elfenstein:
  • I did warn our guys at the eras start that collective were going to be trouble with aisha leading them... a few mistakes were made this era by our guys..also we were like 1 step too late in setting up our attacks on you..

In the beginning we talked about last era, how much we sucked then.
We were talking and every you would message us often asking what is the strength of our armies, and last era we were so bad that all of our armies were so far behind it was embarrassing.

We thought maybe you would expect the same thing this era as well. But last era we did start several hours late, some even day late, and we only had 1 mage, and no blockers, we were right there in the open. We lost magic twice due to fast Nazgul attacks, and the era was really bad for us all... Glad we picked up our game this era :)

00:29:29 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Midnight Toker:

I prefer the challenge of having a smaller team. Most of the 'elite' players are able to grow their economy from the safety of a meatshield that is any large KD over 10 or 12 players.

Im trying to become competant of being a defender, a mage, a multirole, and an aggressor. I know my strengths  and i know my weaknesses.

Its like a puzzle. Its pretty useless to do the same puzzle over and over. Replayability is about trying new things.

00:29:45 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Fecker:

Last era, you didnt block the bridge the whole era. But no fear, our new plan has begun, and it pretty much involves knocking collective off its farmed up position. :P

00:33:34 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Midnight Toker:

I won Zetamania with Death Dealers as one of the main mages and I am active. Again. Its about the Replayability and diversifying the underatanding of tactics,  seeing how well you can predict behavior of others, etc.

00:43:09 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Bling:

lol, you won zeta cause arma got cast when odi and I killed of your merges and you hid behind great walls. Aint no walls here.

00:52:21 Oct 19th 16 - Dragon Prophet Theophilus:

00:55:27 Oct 19th 16 - Endless (Ms. Fists of Fury):

I seem to recall MasterBidi being the big pain in the butt, pretty sure the merge he lead was the only one to even get close to our neighborhood (did see Toker retaking the same cities over and over again, he and burninglegion had some fun with that)

00:59:11 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Bigfield The Executive:

One downside of merges is I think the credit goes to the merge lead, which is often an orc scout.

01:00:07 Oct 19th 16 - Endless (Lady Insensitive of The Sisterhood):

upside for DD is that orc has strategic skills :p

01:01:36 Oct 19th 16 - Dark Spawn (Lord Dark Spawn):

You just showed final scores that show 8 people that were your enemies still have large land count and large armies, meaning they did not lose. So that was one of the eras where you do not really have a clear winner, since nobody lost. You won because you are halfling and you score better, and you brag about it?

01:06:21 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Bling:

See me...

And that doesnt include the cities in your core i burnt

  1. Mr. Bane of Pestilence (Orc)
Had 383,116 land, 665,787 troops and 22 science points. Killed 1,182,815 soldiers, won 53 of 115 battles and captured 39 cities.

01:18:29 Oct 19th 16 - Dragon Prophet Theophilus:

The point lf the game is to aclre High, is it not?

01:21:32 Oct 19th 16 - Mr. Bling:

no, generally its to die slowly under my stomping foot.

01:24:48 Oct 19th 16 - Endless (Ms. Niobe):

Thought the point was wartime strategy (including politics)? Did Zeta change the game description?
