22:03:17 Dec 3rd 18 - Duke Chade of The Waterfall: yeah whatever you say brother ... ive been in this game for 14 years to know that updates wont come ... or if they do - they will only slightly adjust the current gameplay. So im cool with that, cause VU for me is a place where I know 95% of the peeps, and 95% of the peeps know me ... so flaming and bantering without the need to apologise ... perfect scenario for me! If things change though, im more than happy to re-adjust and serve some flames and banter to 195%

00:39:33 Dec 4th 18 - Ragnarson* (Mr. Ragz):* Chade, I agree, and ya i remember you from when i previously played around 5-6 years ago or so... The only thing that has changed since i was away from the game for about 3-4 years is a massive decrease in the amount of players playing on each map, in addition to half the amount of maps running at one time. The above is how i know this game is dying... im sure many of you have noticed and concluded the same. Ive played many online games with communities like this (Mythea, Utopia...) and seen a few die, and the pattern is the same in each (tho utopia is still going on pretty strong). It seems, for a game to live, it needs a hook (like a pop song) to keep new players in the game from the very start. Ease of learning the game and figuring out how to play is the number 1 key to that success. Keeping players and creating player/game loyalty is number 2. Making money for the admin so he/she/they can continue working on the game is the 3rd. Admin keeps his game fresh by making slight changes every few ages or so, and keeping on top of bugs are key 4. Hopfully Zeta see's this and can figure a way to make this game his legacy, because it really is a great game (once you figure most of it out). :D
