Queen Rika Nanaka's story

I was born and raised in the grand city of Lions Arch. However, at the time of my childhood, it was not such a grand city. It was under the control of the cruel and ruthless White Mantle. The White Mantle was an orginization, led by Confessor Dorian, that beleived and followed, the Unseen Gods. However, these "Uneseen Gods" were nothing more than an ancient race of spellcasters called the Muursat.

When I was 13, I was visited by a strange dragon, who called herself Glint, in my dreams. She told me all of this in that dream. She said that me and my friends, who have all been training to be warriors in Lions Arch, were all to go to the Crystal Deserts via Sanctum Cay and Ascend. She said that they shall be visited tonight as well.

I wasn't sure I beleive this at all. That is until I saw a set of armour, a Fellblade and Tower Shield under my bed. My friends told me that Glint visited them and gave them armour and weapons of their own that night as well.

Our journy began the next day. No one else was told where we were going just to be sure the White Mantle wouldn't try to stop us.

All of us had been training for a long time, so the journey to Sanctum Cay was easy. However, after that, it only got tougher.

We all fought through Sanctum Cay to the ship that was raised from the deep by Vizier Khilbron, a very strong necromancer that helped us along the way, and headed for the Crystal Desert.

We landed in Amnoon Oasis, rested up and headed out to Augury Rock. There we were told how to Ascend and where to go to do it.

It was tought, but we managed to do all three tasks given to us in order to Ascend. The Gods casts their gazes upong us as we began to Ascend. We were only able to go one at a time. Taomons Fury, our Elementalist, went first. We did not know what was to happen next. Would she return or did she go to some other place? We did not know. After 15 minutes, we wanted to rush in there together to see if she was ok. But we woudln't. Then a few minutes later, the priest there said only, "The next one may go". We did not understand, but somehow he knew when the test was over for the ones inside.

I went last in the rock. When I arrived, I was met by a creature, holding the same weapon and sheild as I was. The armour was the same as well. It also seemed to know every thing I did. I knew it wouldnt be easy, but I began to fight this, "doppledanger".

The battle lasted a good 20 minutes. The doppledanger was tough, but I was not going to allow myself to die where my friends have not. With one strong swing, I sliced the doppledanger's head clean off. After that moment, a portal opened to an unknown place. I knew not where it led, but I couldnt feel the presence of my friends on the other side.

There we all met up again, and rested for our next big challenge. An audience with the dragon, Glint. It was a challenge because only warriors strong enough to pass her defences were able to have an audience with her. We had to face 6 strong dragonlike creatures, called Facets. We managed to overcome all our obstacles. There we met Glint.

She was a magnificent dragon, much larger than any Hydra or the Facets we faced before. There she told us of the White Mantle getting stronger and a resistance force, known as the Shining Blade, getting weaker. She said our journing would continue in the west. In the Ring of Fire island chain.

We left Glint through a portal that led into Droknars Forge. The dwarves were happy to repair our armour and weapons, as well as give us a place to rest up for our journey.

Our first task was to visit a creature called a Seer. It was said that they could infuse our armour to become stronger against the Muursat's magic.

We traversed the Iron Mines of Moladune and found the Seer. There it said for us to slay a creature that had a natural defence against the Muursats magic. We easily slayed the creature and brought back its spectral essance, the item that the Seer infused into our armour.

Straight afterward, we faced our first Muursat. They were uglier than we thought. Ugly floating creatures wearing yellow armour , 4 eyes and discusting teeth. With our skill, we easily slayed them.

We then proceeded to Thunderhead Keep, the dwarven capital that was taken over by the Muursat and the White Mantle.

With the combined forces of me and my friends and the dwarves, we managed to take back the Keep. Now the final test was ahead. We had to travel to the Ring of Fire island chain, the most treacherous land in all of Tyria.

The Vizier led us tothe portal which took us to a small, abandoned village where we rested.

We traveled to the Ring of Fire, the Muursats fortress. A battle that lasted 4 hours. At the end, all the Muursat in the fortess were slain, and all of us were still standing. Next was Abaddons Mouth, another fortess of the Muursat.

Again a seemingly endless battle. Lasting another 4 hours with the same result as the Ring of Fire. Now, Hells Precipice, our final destination of our journey, was the only thing standing between us and the salvation of the world.

The things we saw there would never leave our minds. The horrific creatures, the undead people that the Mantle and Murrsat have slain, and ,somehow, the Vizier.

We fought to the gate which was to be opened, taking days. We had to find safe places out of the sight of our enemies. 3 days later, we reached the gate. Our only enemy was the Vizier, who turned out to be the Undead Lich, a powerful monster that was using us this whole time. What the Lich didnt know, was how strong we were.

The battle lasted 3 hours. The Lich, keeping his distance like the coward he was, whenever he was injurned. It took a while, but we managed to corner him. He was then on his knees, beging for us to spare him. Not a word was said. The only sound was my sword slicing through his neck.

With the Lich dead, we opened the gate. We were imediantly knocked down from the powerful winds that emerged from within. Once we managed to stand, what we saw was an amazing sight. A swarm of Muursat in the sky coming towards us. It wasnt what we thought. The winds that emerged were actually holding all the Muursat and sucking them inside the gate. We could hear all their screames. We looked into the gate to see what they were so afraid of. It was the dark god Abbadon himself.

Once we returned to Lions Arch all the villagers started chearing for us. We did not know how they knew what was happening, untill we saw Glint. She had told them all what was happening and was showing them what we were doing. They all saw our battles and the Muursat, and Abadon.

We all noticed that Lions Arch was without a leader. Well, guess who was chosen...
