Mr. Drrofas
Lived in Era 28, got 1 heir(s) (Hytlodeo) and was a member of The Undead Alliance
On the Era of Amon Hen, the people of Cartago Nova decided that they needed a king. Who could this be? After years of discussion, they managed to find the right person for the job. He was a former warrior that had worked for years in the improvement of his city. Drrofas was his name. After he was crowned, the new ruler started changing the politics of the city-state, and after some years, he organized an expedition that finally founded the city of Pompeii. Drrofas then joined a kingdom that was formed by plenty of great rulers that lived nearby in the land of Zetamania. And so, his lands and people continued to grow in culture and power.
But nothing lasts forever. On the south, a ruler that called himself Gravedigger had managed to create an impressive kingdom, with many great cities and armies. Even so, he was very greedy. Together with the other rulers of his kingdom( The Emperors Fist), Drrofas fought many battles to try and stop him, but with every victory they sustained many losses. And finally Gravedigger came, and took over Cartago Nova, and everything that was good and pure in its lands was corrupted. Yet, not everything was lost. The King survived and fled the continent, knowing that he would somehow return to recover his rights.
After fleeing, Drrofas found a new city to rule in the land of Starta. While he was wandering around, thinking of the future, he was gazed by a group of orcs. They imprisoned him, and took him to their small city Barad. But in the way they noticed the intelligence of their prisoner, and treated him with the respect he deserved. Drrofas saw that the orcs were not as evil as he had thought, and soon started teaching them good manners and the great ideals of men. Soon they began to reverence him, and suddenly he noticed he was being treated as a king, and that the orcs followed him obediently. He decided this was the chance to regain power and recover Cartago Nova. At that moment he didn't understand that his egoistic reasons would bring him to his doom.
Drrofas renamed Barad to Byzantium. Then he founded colonies in the north and east, and named them Phoenicia and Farsalia. After his previous administration, Drrofas was now a better ruler and the economy began to grow very fast. He joined the Sparta kingdom, but it soon dissapeared. Then he joined a Kingdom called The Fellowship, but it wasn't long before his treacherous leader Kalkan disbanded it and joined their enemy: Zoidbergmania. Drrofas found himself in trouble, but then some ex-Fellowship members created a great new Kingdom, and they called it the Undead Alliance. The orc kingdom of Drrofas became a part of it, and so he felt very pleased.
Meanwhile, Drrofas had also conquered more cities, and became very powerful. Thousands of orcs now followed him, and his armies were huge. He thought he was invincible. But then news came to him and made his hearth unease. The kingdoms of the north had merged into a new one called Music. Later on, the southern kingdom of Avalanche (which he thought was a faithful ally) decided to unite the enemy. And so, the Undead Alliance had to fight a war in two fronts, against a very powerful enemy. They built walls and trained armies, and fought honorably and well, and it looked as if they could win. Then, one of their members showed his real face. Battlefield Vet betrayed them, and used his great armies to protect no one other than himself. The walls fell, and although the Undead Alliance did its best, the end was inevitable. All the orc cities were taken, and when the armies of Music reached Byzantium, a great battle took place. 20,000 orcs fought bravely against 50,000 humans, but they had better weapons. The city fell, and the king fell too, fighting until the end. With this, the era ended, and a veil of darkness covered the lands.
Mr. Hytlodeo
Lived in Era 28, got 1 heir(s) (Hytlodeo II) and was a member of The Undead Alliance
Hytlodeo was born the day his father was killed. But the armies of Music did not find him, since his mother had cast a spell upon her child. But that spell contained also a curse. For his mother was a great witch, but not powerful enough to challenge Death for a long time. The prophecy said: "Thou shall become the ruler of a great empire, but shall not live long enough to see it flourish". This words were engraved by magic into his soul, and only the one who would kill him would be able to see them. And so, she made him invisible to their conquerors, and sent him to an ancient temple, where he would be raised by elves. But that was not a part of the design the gods had created. On the road to the temple, dwarves ambushed his group of lifeguards, and killed them. Then they took the newborn baby away, to their mountain mines.
Legend says that Hytlodeo was taken to the king, and he, who had no children of his own, decided to raise him as if he were his own keen. And as he grew up, he learned the ways of dwarves, and never got to know his own heritage.
When Gorlim, King of Dwarves, died, Hytlodeo acceded to the throne. But many dwarves did not like the fact that a human orphan would rule them; and thus tried to overthrow him. After many wars, Hytlodeo s supporters won, but the Kingdom of Dwarves was split into two. One was ruled by Foarl, a dwarf of the Royal Dwarf Family. He was a ruthless ruler, and his kingdom was one of opression and tirany. Hytlodeo, on the other side, decided that his kingdom would be a Republic, where everyone would have a voice of his own. Then he started to work to make his kingdom grow, and he proved to be an amazing statesman. From the capitol city of Montecristo, he forged an alliance with the kingdom of Angels, and after that, he started building cities and fortresses. Under his command, the Dwarf Republic became powerful, and his armies were gallant and brave.
Still, a curse like his could not be forgotten. When his kingdom started to become one of the most powerful ones in the land of Mantrax, the heart of the treacherous Preds started to tremble with fear, and thus they decided to stop him from becoming any more powerful, at wathever cost. With their ilegitimate tactics, they managed to sneak through the walls of the Republic and destroyed two of their greatest cities, before the armies of Hytlodeo could crush them like the rats they were. But Preds was a kingdom of many rulers, and they could not let Hytlodeo live. They raised an army of 300,000 souls, and attacked the walls again. Hytlodeo moved his greatest army to fight them, and after being under 13 days of siege, he made a difficult choice: he would lead himself 150,000 of the bravest dwarves to challenge the enemy army on the plains of Jah·Ur.
He moved his army to a hill, and prepared to attack at dawn. When the sun appeared, his men were ready. Hytlodeo looked at the sky, and saw that a red sun arose. He knew that was not a good omen, but he could not leave without a fight. He divided his army into three, and decided to command the center legion, while his generals attacked the enemy flanks with the other two left. But he did not realise that Preds had cunning generals, and therefore, they were ready for this. They moved some troops to a nearby forest, where they waited for the brave dwarves. When Hytlodeo gave the order to attack, his army broke through the enemy lines, and victory seemed to be at hand. Then, like crows that attack a prey that is unaware of what is going on, the troops that were hidden in the forest attacked, and killed a grand number of dwarves. Their allies saw that, and started to attack the dwarves with renewed stregth. The retribution was swift, and so 130,000 dwarves were killed, and the rest ran away into the wall. Hytlodeo was able to escape to his keep, where he talked to his generals. They told him that total defeat was unevitable. He told them to fight on, then looked at his blade, and on the reflection of himself he saw the words of the prophecy that were written on his soul. He suddenly knew waht he had to do.
He went to the plains and asked to have a few words with the enemy commander.
He was also a great man, and let Hytlodeo do what he had requested.
Hytlodeo said that this battle, should not be fought by armies, but by thier leader. Agheron (the great general of the Preds army) was not a coward either, and decided to fight the human ruler of dwarves.
A great duel it was, and in the end, no one had proved to be more skillful than the other. Then, in the heat of the moment, Hytlodeo saw an undefended spot in Agherons armour and stabbed him.
Agherons eyes turned pale, and he fell to a precipice. But Hytlodeo had not been able to withdraw his sword, and he fell too. His own actions had led him to his death, and the prophecy was fullfilled. And so the story of Hytlodeo The Brave ends....
But even so, the battle between the dwarves and Preds had just begun...
