Mr. Salarin

This story isn't about some hero or royal, no this story is about a mere peasant called Salarin.

Salarin had a special birth, he was born on a full moon at a wolf's cry. The villagers were afraid of him at first, but this faded away when the years past.
When Salarin grew older it was obvious he was very smart, but mischievous at the same time. He would steal from anybody if he felt like it and for this the villagers didn't trust him. When he became 16 everybody disliked him, even his parents. They forced him to leave the village and roam around in the woods.

In the woods Salarin trained hard to master many different weapons. One day during his training he found a cemetery. Something just didn't feel good, but it seemed to be a great place to practice. After nightfall he wanted to leave, but something captured him and hit him on the head.

When he was conscious again he saw who or better what had captured him. It were ghosts. They noticed Salarin was awake and surprisingly they untied him. These ghost told Salarin an old prophecy: He who was born at the wolf's cry would conquer the land and set the roaming souls free.

This was the start of Salarin's adventures.
