The Dark Elf known as Graydon Darkstar was once known as the Emperor of galderoths champion. He was reknowned for his abilities with the twin swords Ice and Flame.His martial skill and chivalry were unequalled in the realm, For years he tutored noble youths in galderoth until his legendary fall from grace. His fall came when suddenly the Emperor in a fit of madness demanded Darkstar's wife as a concubine. Feigning Obedience the Darkstar returned to Mal galdor and upon his return, slew the Emperor and 6 of his "immortal" bodyguards . He returned to his keep where he found the citadel burned and the bodies of his wife and sons staked to the outer walls.

It is said that the deaths of his family unhinged him , that it burned away all that was good in his soul as he went on a murderous rampage that saw the entire royal line of galderoth slain. Now he serves noone but himself and nominally the great Vampire queen.
