Duke Shadowhunter

Lived in Era 19 and got 1 heir(s) (Shadowhunter).

The Demonlord NightFury had been rampaging through the realms of Fantasia, slaughtering anything and anyone that dared to oppose him on his path to dominate this world. Lord Nightfury only stopped once during his onslaught in order to regain some strenght and to give his armies some rest before they would march on. The city he had chosen to set up his camp, had been the abandoned elven town of Amranulurial. However during that night he discovered the city not quite being abandoned, as a small group of female elves had been lurking in the shadows of the city. As the group of elves went on the attack, one of them dared to enter the tent in which NightFury was supposed to be sleeping.

As the battle outside NightFury's tent went on, there was another battle getting started inside. NightFury had been doing everything except sleeping. He had been waiting, waiting for the one that dared to enter. His demonsoul knew the city wasn't abandoned, and he also knew that it would be Amlagwen who had the bravery of entering his tent and try to assasinate him. As she sneaked inside silently and moved onto where she thought NightFury was sleeping, she suddenly was jumped and knocked unconcious by the Demonlord who had been hiding in the shadows near the entrance of his tent. Outside, her fellow elven warriors had been killed off by the guards, but she would not die just yet, because NightFury needed her for a ritual.

As she was carried to the altar, NightFury started to chant the words to the ritual that was about to happen. As he was chanting, his body slowly started to change into that of the demon with whom he had been merged. Slowly the demonlike tentacles emerged from his body, entangling Amlagwen in the proces and the room began to glow in the eerie green way which seemed to be common with the Carrothian rituals. As Amlagwen lay on the altar entangled by NightFury's tentacles, she seemed to awaken. Nightfury's demonform was now hovering at a small distance above her body and as she started to scream, NightFury's mouth touched hers and his tongue went deep inside her throat, silencing the noice she had been making. The ritual was about to reach it's climax and throughout the city of Amranulurial a strong wind sweaped through the abandoned streets, knocking down monuments, trees and soldiers seeking refuge. With an explosion of light the ritual ended and NightFury had changed back to his former self. Amlagwen was laying still on the altar with her eyes and mouth wide open.

NightFury's army moved on, leaving Amlagwen behind in the state she was in after the ritual ended. As the army swept through the lands, a few elven scouts stumbled upon the comatised body of Amlagwen and they took her back to the hidden elven capital, little did they know she had been tainted by the demon inside NightFury. As the months passed by, she slowly started to react on her surroundings and eventually she had fully recovered from what horrific acts NightFury had done with her during the ritual. The only thing she found weird was that she wasn't feeling well during the mornings and had an increased appetite for meat, but she took this for granted since she was still alive. Then on a darkened night, the moon slowly started to glow a different way as it used to, as the Elder walked outside to watch the sky, Amlagwen started to scream in pain as the true nature of the ritual was about to unfold.

Hearing the screams a few of the Elder rushed into the room where Amlagwen resided, astonished to see that she was giving birth as the lunar event outside was ending. It turned out she was pregnant all this time, however she knew it was impossible, unless...stopping at this horrible thought, she looked at the little babyboy to whom she had given life to. It looked like a normal baby, however there was something about his eyes, they seemed to be green and his skin seemed darker then those of other children she had seen in the village. Thinking nothing of it, she decided that she would keep the boy as well as the secret of his origin. As the months and years progressed, the little boy grew up rather fast amongst the Elven people, learning all they were able to teach him. During hunting sessions, it turned out he was more stealthy then the others, seemingly being able to merge with the shadows as he stalked his prey, hence they named him ShadowHunter.

ShadowHunter himself however was already wondering, why he was able to do things like sneaking about the woods unnoticed as well as being able to cast magic with an almost uncontrollable power during magicschool. His teachers had also noticed that his traits had become rather different from those of the other children in the village and turned to the Elder Council for advice. The Elder Council had no idea what could be the cause of ShadowHunter's unnatural developement and they decided to visit Amlagwen for an answer. However as they arrived at her house, they found that she had fled the village. The Council searched the house and found a letter written in Amlagwen's handwriting, as they read it, they suddenly started to show a worried expression upon their faces. Amlagwen had left the village because she feared what the Elves would do to her once they found out that ShadowHunter's father was actually the Demonlord NightFury.

When ShadowHunter returned to his home after yet another succesfull huntingclass, he found not his mother, but the entire Elder Council waiting his arrival. As the Council explained why his mother had left the village in such a hurry, ShadowHunter started to pack his things, he figured that his father being a demonlord would make him rather unwelcome in the village from now on. The Council looked upon the young boy and told him they had hoped that his unnatural traits had been of another origin, however he should not forget the things they'd thought him over the years. ShadowHunter walked away and ran into the woods, screaming that he'll find his socalled father and that he will get his revenge! The elves who witnessed the little boy leaving the village in such a hurry, had been stunned by the vengefull undertone of the boy's voice as he ran into the woods. They hoped those words had been directed at his father Demonlord NightFury and not at their peacefull village.

Duke Planeswalker

Lived in Era 20 and got 1 heir(s) (Carrothian).

Since the great fire (database crash) in the old library of VU happened, a lot of history had been lost, as was my family history. So for those interested in reading up on my family history, I've collected them all and wrote them down below.
Beneath it all, is the Story of Planeswalker, Son of Shadowhunter...

Mr. Rampagingbunny
Lived in Era 14 and got 1 heirs (Carrot Fever)

Out of nowhere came the Rampaging Horde, lead by a fearsome creature that resembled some kind of bunny. Their leaders name was "Rampaging-Bunny".

He had white eyes and no sign of a pupil inside then, his gaze was empty as if he lost his sanity. his skin was glowing an eerie kind of fluorescent green and was unnaturally tough, as if it was enchanted with some sort of dark magic.

He was the last of the "Were-Rabbits" and was send into this world by the clan-elders through a magic portal. His only task is to destroy this world and create a habitat for his race. And so the story of Rampaging-Bunny begins.

After setting up his basetown, he send out scouts to look for potential allies in the near vicinity of his town. After many days only a few scouts returned, most of them had been mutulated and close to their deaths.

What kind of world was this, Rampaging-Bunny thought, most of my scouts have died or are about to die and the only news I get out of them is that there are enemies everywhere. Suddenly another scout arrived, unharmed and exceptionally cheerfull. He had found an ally, he had found "The Medieval Dogs Of War".

After joining up with them, it was time to prepare for battle, to secure his territory, to secure the survival of his brethren, to secure the survival of his newfound allies. The time has come upon him to let his destiny meet his fate.

Sir Carrot Fever
Lived in Era 15, got 1 heirs (Nethersage) and was a member of Anti Fowl Alliance

His father, Rampaging-Bunny, came from another dimension, at least that is what the historicans seem to have written. But for Carrot Fever all that matters is this world and the urge to conquer it entirely...

Thus Carrot Fever remained in his fathers kingdom, but he already noticed that many of the other members of the ancient kingdom had passed away or had sided with others...

Then a messenger arrived, King Stalin is no more, the kingdom is in chaos, no heir to the throne at all. The messenger also stated that just before the King went to better places, he adviced to join FOWL...

"So be it..." Carrot Fever said to his messenger "as of now we will follow the orders of the Fowl-Kingdom, send out word to the ones around us that we're now following a new leader, may we be more glorious then my father was in his past"...

not knowing there had already been send armies carrying the COW-banner to attack his cities, Carrot Fever vowed his alligiance to the Throne of Fowl...

Fierce battles followed the next few days, the first city of Carrot Fields fell into enemy hands. The survivors settled in the midst of three mountains, aptly naming the newfound city "Cave Trolls"...

Gathering strenght, the new city grew strong and was now able to produce armies, Carrot Fever ordered his smithies to heat up the fires. The time to retake their lost capital was upon them. An endless stream of vulonteers poured over the enemies that had taken over Carrot Fields and at last, the city was retaken. Carrot Fever stood amongst his men, looking at the remnants of his capital city, a city that was torched and ransacked by the enemy. "They will pay for this insulence and cowardice, WE WILL HUNT THEM DOWN!!!" Carrot Fever spoke to his army...

Days passed by and the forces of Carrot Fever grew stronger and more powerfull. Armies took control of a small village to the east of the Cave Troll city and then moved further to the south and the east. A small town governed by an old soldier was conquered with great ease and turned into a farmingcommunity.

Then one day a messenger arrived with news of an escaping COW-army. "What do you mean it's heading our way?" Carrot Fever yelled at the messenger "I thought you said it was fleeing the area! Very well then, get me the general of the Dark Shroud army...AT ONCE!!!" and the messenger ran out of his royal quarters...

"The army is ready, my liege. The fleeing army won't survive this little ambush we've prepared" The Dark Shroud general spoke to Carrot Fever. "Very well then General, let's get this onslaught started and over with, give the signal for the attack!". Minutes after the Carrothian horn was sound, thousands of Hobgoblins engulfed the mesmerized enemy army. Severely outnumbered, the enemy soldiers dropped to the ground, dead, injured and even soiling themselves with fear. "Payback is such a sweet thing, served when least expected. Round up the survivers and...execute them General...that should teach them not to ransack a capital city!" Carrot Fever spoke and then left the battlefield.

Days later a multitude of scouts returned to report about the surroundings of the evergrowing Carrothian-empire. "There are more cities located across the lake and near the mountains and forests behind it? Very well then, mobilize the additional armies, it's time to expand our borders!" Carrot Fever spoke to his most trusted group of generals.

Weeks passed and the armies conquered the surrounding cities. Among the cities was one of particular interest to Carrot Fever. The city was called "Majestydale" and the spoils of war had a special prize, it contained a fair maiden, a princess, a bride...

The marriage was followed by the birth of an heir to the throne of Carrothia and the unstoppable warmachine of the Horde. During the childhood of their firstborn, the empire grew strong and powerfull but was becoming more peacefull and diplomatic as the child grew older.

Carrot Fever teached his son all he knew about the arts of war and diplomacy, as it was soon to be his sons empire, the Carrothian empire under the rule of Nethersage.

Sir Nethersage
Lived in Era 16, got 1 heirs (Darkmyst) and was a member of Abydos

It was on a dark night with a heavy thunderstorm haunting the skies, on which Nethersage stepped though the portal onto the new world called Fantasia. Nethersage was dressed in dark clothing, with glimmering white skulls and bones attached to it for decorative purposes. In his left hand he held an staff with a green crystal on top. The staff itself seemed to eminate an eerie green glow, which resembled the green glow his grandfather Rampaging-Bunny eminated. The right hand was holding an old parchment, which he found amongst his grandfathers belongings.

"Soooo...this is what my grandfathers world looked like?! well then, let's see what it has to offer for our people..." Nethersage mumbled to himself "General? We're setting up our town right here, right NOW!" he yelled at the man standing at a distance behind him. The general commanded the peasantry to start building up the town as fast as they could. He knew from previous generals that it was unwise not to follow Nethersage's orders, as their skulls and bones are now the decoration of his masters clothing.

The aptly named city of Gateway was build shortly after Nethersage gave the command. Now it was time to explore the surroundings and perhaps create more small settlements in order to have a better chance of survival. "General, I assume you have the scouting parties ready?! If so, then send them into every direction right away" Nethersage said. The general followed the orders given and a few days later a messenger from one of the scouting parties returned with a message from a distant kingdom named "Abydos".

"Abydos you say? Hmmm interesting to find them here on Fantasia, they've helped my father Carrot Fever when he was on Mantrax" Nethersage mumbled as he read the message "...well then...messenger?! deliver this reply to King Osiris, The Carrothian Horde will be joining Abydos!" he continued. And so The Carrothian Horde became a member of the powerfull forces of Abydos.

After a few days things became more clear about the world of Fantasia. It seemed that war was the path to follow if you wanted to survive, so NetherSage ordered his faithfull general to commence with the training of the armies. After a few days the first troops have been trained well enough to stand a chance in actual combat and Nethersage ordered them to take over the surrounding possibly hostile cities. The first city on the list to be conquered was Grow, followed by Hello and Rhun. Not wanting to get his troops to spread too thin, NetherSage gave his armies a few days rest to regain their strenght as well as increase their numbers by recruiting in the conquered cities.

After a few weeks passed, the Carrothian Empire grew bigger and bigger. Then one night, NetherSage had a dream, a dream about magic fire raining from the skies. The fire set whole fields ablaze and torched any kind of creature that was unprotected in the open. The dream suddenly became darker, slowly turning into a nightmare. He saw a gigantic army of Nazguls heading towards the capital city, then he saw himself, something was different. NetherSage seemed not to be scared of the huge army heading his way and in his dream his eyes suddenly began to emit a bright green glow as he chanted some ancient words. Suddenly he witnessed that the Nazgul army was being torched, one after the other got burned, smitten, annihilated by the fire raining down upon them and with a bright flash NetherSage woke up from his weird dream, screaming the word MAGIC!

The following day, he ordered his best mages to teach him the ways of the magical path. At first the mages were reluctant to open the secret books, only known to their order, but after NetherSage told them about his nightmare, they decided that they would try to teach him. Many weeks later, he had learned how to slow down objects thrown at him, how to turn invisible and even how to conjure ghostly warriors. The Elder Mages didn't expect their ruler to be this adept with the use of magic and so they decided to teach him one of the most powerfull spells known to them...the Rain of Fire spell. The spell he witnessed in his own nightmare, the spell that torched hundreds of Nazguls within minutes.

A month later, NetherSage was taking a break from his magical studies and decided to go for a little walk in the fields at the foot of the Gateway-mountains. When suddenly he got ambushed by a group of human bandits. A few of them jumped on top of him and held him down while another held a knife to his neck. The leader of the group was about to take his valuables, when suddenly NetherSage's eyes started to glow green with anger. Chanting a few words, the group of bandits got pushed back with a huge force and NetherSage turned invisible. The group of Bandits were screaming in terror and tried to flee the scene when a group of ghostly figures emerged out of thin air and attacked two of them, tossing them up into the air and tore the flesh from their bones as they dropped back onto the ground. The remaining bandits ran for the hills as fast as they could, but they found out that they could not quite move as fast as they thougth they could when NetherSage appeared a few hundred meters in front of them with his eyes now radiating a pulsating green glow. The bandits screamed with terror as they witnessed that the sky turned red and flames seared down onto their bodies, burning them to a crisp.

Lord Darkmyst
Lived in Era 17, got 1 heirs (Nightfury) and was a member of Abydos

Following his father's footsteps, Darkmyst emerged from the shadowrich forests of Shadowlock. His trusty general and his troops followed just a few steps behind. "General, it's time we set up our base" Darkmyst spoke to him. "Yes, my liege, we will do as you asked" the General replied. A few hours later the camp was up and running, troops started training to enhance their battle skills, whilst others started the construction of houses. "Lord Darkmyst, our troops seem to have grown quite fond of this area, perhaps we should not only set up camp here, but..." and before the general had finished his scentence, Darkmyst interupted him. "I guess you're trying to tell me that we should construct a city here?" Darkmyst continued. "Yes, milord! that was what I was going to talk to you about" was the General's reply. "Well then, since our troops are either enhancing their warrior skills, or are building houses at this time, go right ahead and give the order to start planning the city of Shroudshock" Darkmyst answered with a pleased grin on his face.

A few days later Darkmyst walked through the city to look at what his soldiers had constructed. The city of Shroudshock was quite nicely set up, roads towards the mines in the mountains and the forests, as well as a few newly plowed farmlands near the river. However this utopian view would not intervene with the plans of Darkmyst, the men might love it, but he'd rather go to battle and secure his newfound lands. "General get overhere!" he yelled at his most trustworthy follower "General, I need you to start the construction of an armory in the vincinity of Shroudshock, right away!". The General obeyed the command and gathered a group of men to set up the armory. The time had come for him to prove he's worthy of his title, the time to prepare for war had arrived...at last!

A week later, DarkMyst went out to inspect his army and the newly created cities in his Carrothian province. His General was quite pleased with the kind words his ruler spoke to him when he was done with the inspection. Especially the words "glory through conquest" made the General smile. The next day the Carrothian General moved out with the Dark Mage army with the specific order to capture the city of Lazarus. After days of preparing the General succesfully sieged the city and cut off it's supplies. When the messenger arrived at DarkMyst's palace, he told DarkMyst that the city was well defended with a gigantic wall. "A wall you say? This will take more time then we actually care to waste on a city, go get me my Grandmage!" DarkMyst spoke to the messenger. Few moments later the Carrothian Grandmage arrived "My Liege?! What can I do for you?" the Mage spoke, "Well now Grandmage, it seems my General is in need of your help, so I'm wondering if the Dark Mages of Abydos are ready yet". "Hmmmm...ready yes, but they need to have their own area, not to be impolite milord, but Shroudshock is giving us too much interference, making us unable to concentrate on our spells" the Grandmage spoke with a slight hesitation in his voice, knowing that DarkMyst has hanged his followers before, just for being "Well actually, I was thinking about giving you and your mages an area in the west. That way you can study, improve and concentrate on the spells needed to aid my armies in the future. How does that sound to you?!" DarkMyst spoke with a smile on his face. "Milord! this is a great thing! I'll inform my mages immediately!" A few days later, the Tower city was build up and the mages only started to chant their spells and the walls of Lazarus started to crumble into piles of dust, Lazarus was no more then a playing field for the Carrothian General. Not soon after word of victory was brought to DarkMyst.

Days, Weeks, Months passed by and the Carrothian Horde grew stronger and more powerfull, slowly turning the surrounding villages into colonies or slavecamps for the Empire. DarkMyst was very pleased at what his people had accomplished so far, however it was time for something to be taken more seriously.

Duke Nightfury
Lived in Era 18, got 0 heirs and was a member of The Horde of Abydos

Dark have been the days after the destructive war which raged in the Abydosian province of Carrothia. Ash filled skies blackened out all sunlight and the fields looked like the plains of Hell itself. Corpses of slain soldiers lay everywhere you looked, rivers had an eerie reddish colour to them and scavenging animals lurked in the shadows of the forsaken towns and cities.

The people had fled the area only to be captured and sold as slaves by their enemies. A handful survived the onslaught and looked for refuge amongst other Abydosian provinces. The province of Carrothia was no more, so it seemed at first sight. However deep beneath the remnants of what used to be DarkMyst’s palace, a strange magic was at work. Seemingly not all of the Carrothian Horde had fled the area, a few of the Elder Mages had stayed behind in the caverns beneath the palace. Unknown to their enemies, they where about to start an ancient demonic ritual known only to their race. A ritual involving the powers of the dead and lingering souls waiting for their revenge upon the living.

The cavern was triangular shaped and located in it’s centre there was a sacrificial altar decorated with the skulls and bones of ancient dragonlike creatures. Each corner of the cave was lit up by what looked like green glowing pillars. On the walls ancient symbols had been drawn and they seemed to glow in the light provided by the pillars, making the cave look even more eerie then it already was.

The Elder Mages of Carrothia carefully placed a corpse upon the ancient altar. It was the lifeless body of DarkMyst himself, beaten, bruised and mutilated in his final attempt to keep his soldiers alive and trying to beat back the endless stream of enemies pouring over the battlefield during the final battle at the Carrothian capital city Shroudshock. With the body now in place, the Elder Mages started their chanting the words of the ritual. It seemed like ages passed by when suddenly a dark red gas started to embraced the corpse of DarkMyst. Slowly the body is engulfed with the red gas and above the altar a small vortex is starting to appear. The engulfed body is slowly floating towards the growing vortex when with a bright flash a portal opens up.

When the bright light dissipates the true horror of the ritual is shown, the Elder Mages are pinned to the walls through their heads by what look like tentacles and their flesh is torn from their lifeless bodies and is hovering towards a dark entity now engulfing the corpse of their former ruler from within the portal. The symbols on the walls, covered with the blood of the Elder Mages, are now glowing in a rapid frequency whilst the entity slowly merges with the body of DarkMyst. The entire cave is pulsating as the entity is feeding from the corpses of the Elder Mages and slowly the body DarkMyst starts to move.

The entity is now completely merged and the tentacles slowly return to the body of DarkMyst. The walls stop to pulsate and the pillars suddenly stop to emit their greenish glow. With a crashing sound the body drops to the cavern floor and lies there for a moment and all goes silent as darkness fills the ritual chamber.

Suddenly two green glowing spots appear from deep within the darkness, the entity has opened his eyes and slowly stands up. The pillars start to emit a weak green glow again and the entity becomes more visible, slowly taking the form of a young man with a shadowy skin, eerie green glowing eyes and a red haze engulfing his body. “At last I’ve returned on what is rightfully mine! The world of Fantasia will once again become enslaved by NightFury, the Ethernal Flame of Darkness!” the young man speaks. “All those who dare to oppose me on the fields of battle or from afar, prepare to meet thy doom, for NightFury will bring only death and destruction for your kind!!!". With these words, NightFury walks out of the cavern and sets foot upon the former Abydosian province of Carrothia and into the world of Fantasia.

Am-He is a threatening Underworld god whose name means "Devourer of Millions". he dwells in a Like of Fire, and if that were not enough, his ferocity is augmented by him having the face of a hunting dog and an appetite for sacrifices. Only Atum might be able to fend off Am-Heh. Now he has chosen the Warlord of The Carrothian Horde as his new vessel so he can once again wreak havoc amongst the people living on Fantasia. Peasants and kings alike, he will devour them one by one untill his hunger is somewhat quenched.

Duke Amheh

Lived in Era 23, got 1 heir(s) (Amheh) and was a member of NARRSE

After the defeat by the honor guard left on Fantasia by Atum, Am-Heh fled to a small world called Nirvana... Much like Fantasia, it was populated by several clans of Elves, Dwarfs, Halflings, Orcs, Humans and last but not least, Trolls...Nirvana seemed to be a peacefull little world with allmost no scars of warfare to be found on it's surface...

Below it's surface however it was a completely different story, for Am-Heh's lifeguards had found refuge there and set up an armory...Hiding from Atum's forces, creating armies and underground cities, enslaving the Troll-population in the area...Slowly taking over the Trollish-clans and merging them together into a new Carrothian Horde...

More and more cities once belonging to the Trolls, started bearing the Carrothian banner...Even worse for the inhabitans of Nirvana, more armies bearing the sign of Carrothia emerged from it's underground armory...

Once again the Carrothian Warlord had risen, with only one goal...to scar this world with the might of warfare in it's purest form...Unleashing the true demonic power of the Carrothian Warlord...

Once again will the skies be filled with the darkness of the scavenging ravens, once again will the corpses litter the fields of battle, once again...will Death reign anew over the world untill Armageddon burns everything once again...

Like many of the gods of Ancient Egypt, Shezmu was of a complex nature. He had qualities of both light and darkness, but this was not the reason that he was known as a 'demon'. To the Egyptians, demons were not necessarily evil in nature. Often they were quite helpful. Instead, the term ‘demon’ was given to Shezmu because he was one of the lesser deities, and due to his relation to The Underworld. Though he wasn’t as popular as many of the others, he was quite important.

Shezmu was the demonic god of red wine, slaughter, and sometimes perfumes or oils. The link between blood and the crimson color of wine is clear. Shezmu was known to destroy wrongdoers, gruesomely putting their heads in winepresses to remove the blood. He was known as the executioner of Osiris. Shezmu followed the commands of The God of The Dead, and therefore was sometimes given the title ‘Slaughterer of Souls’.

He initially seems to be a fierce underworld deity, but Shezmu was quite helpful to the dead. Although he was a harsh executioner of the wicked, he was also a great protector of the virtuous. Shezmu offered red wine to those who had passed on. Other than wine, he was in charge of earthly objects such as embalming oils, and perfumes.

Among the gods, his job was to use the bodies and blood of the dead to create sustenance for Unas. Osiris was the one who ordered the use of the wicked one’s blood to be turned to wine.

On a darker note, Shezmu’s affinity with the color red linked him to evil. Crimson was a feared and hated color among the Egyptians. Not only is it the universal color of blood, and therefore death, but it was the color of the god of chaos, Seth. Since it was also the color of the setting sun, red was associated with the coming darkness and the reign of Apophis the serpent demon.

Like many other Egyptian deities, Shezmu was sometimes depicted as a man or a man with the head of a falcon. To link him further with blood and destruction, he took the form of a man with a leonine head. This perhaps was a bridge between him and Sekhemet (Sekhmet), the goddess of vengeance. Furthermore, he is associated with Nefertem through both his appearance and the connection with perfumes.

Shezmu seemed to be both represented as a great evil and an entity of good. In many places he is held in high regards by the god Osiris, and is worshipped as a protector god. However, he was also feared as the unyielding punisher of the damned.

Rise of the Bald Lemur God

Deep from within the Carrothian wyvern woods, a slight disturbance was to be noticed. Strange sounds echoed between the trees at night and a weird glow was to be noticed in the darkness filling these woods. Woodland creatures slowly started to disappear, soon after nearby towns abandoned overnight leaving no trace of its inhabitants.

When an expedition of mages, peasants and soldiers send out to investigate the matter finally arrived at the wyvern woods, they were astonished to witness a dark spire towering above the tree line in the distance. The whole forest was suspiciously quiet and radiated with evil and as soon as the expedition ventured further into the forest, it all went horribly wrong.

The deeper the expedition stumbled through the rough, the more they became noticed by the new rulers of these woods. Bloodshed eyes followed their every move, awaiting that one specific order from their leader. Not soon after, the expedition arrived at what seemed to be a small lake. Plagued with thirst due to carrying the materials needed for the expedition, a few of the peasants ran towards it and devoured the water. Within seconds they all started to vomit and as if struck by insanity they ran off into the wilderness screaming in terror.

Slowly a few of the soldiers and mages stepped closer to inspect the lake, they suddenly realized what had happened to the missing woodland creatures and the nearby inhabitants of the villages. Underneath the water lay thousands of deformed corpses, creatures and humans alike. One of the soldiers bravely stepped into the water and dragged out one of the human remains. The mages immediately started to examine it and the first thing they noticed was the complete absence of the brain, heart and eyes. Not unknown to them was the fact that these exact organs had also been used in the past for pagan demon worship.

Meanwhile a small figure had stepped forth from the shadows of the trees on the far side of the lake. Its fur was as black as a starless night, yet seemed to emit a strange glow. Leaning on what looked like a short staff, he almost made a human impression on the expedition members if not for his tail. Slowly one of the mages walked towards the strange creature, cautiously followed by two soldiers. The creature grinned at them with a smile just oozing with pure evil intent and as the little critter stomped his staff onto the ground a thundering sound of war drums was let loose from every direction.

Scared beyond belief a few of the peasantry and a couple of soldiers ran as fast as they could into the direction they came from, only to be pierced with a few dozen poisonous arrows and eventually sliced into bits if they even managed to reach the tree line. For the remaining group it was now certain that they had no way back and this little beast in front of them was all but friendly. The mages readied their spells and the soldiers formed a tight circle around them, when the creature grinned once more.

As soon as the little critter slammed his short staff into the ground for the second time a horde of these creatures stormed out of the woods and literally poured all over the remaining expedition members. The soldiers slashed their swords into their attackers as the mages hurled massive fireballs into the ranks of their enemy, burning hundreds in its path. In the heat of the battle the leader of the expedition yelled at one of the other mages and as he pointed at the obvious leader of these tainted beasts, they both noticed a few mutations occurring. Mutations in such a way they had hoped to never witness ever again. The tiny beast slowly grew in size, absorbing the magic powers used by the mages and its fur started to emit the same green glow they knew all too well.

Once again a disturbance was felt by the mages and they all knew it was not a good omen. Seemingly the lingering demonic presence of Shezmu had corrupted the lands of Carrothia to such an extent that even the lower creatures became tainted with its evil destructive power. A few of the mages now hurled fireballs at the mutating creature, which in turn mumbled a few words and simply caught them with its bare hands. The beast now standing in front of them was no longer a mere woodland creature, this was some sort of new evil, a new demon even! Grinning at the mages and their protectors, the demonic entity threw back the fireballs and slowly walked towards them whilst still changing its form with every step he took.

By now only a handful of expedition members still had life in them and as the unholy beast reached the first soldier, it ripped off his sword arm and smashed its claws into the skull of the poor guy. Careless the demon threw aside the corpse and kicked one of the nearby mages onto the ground. As the beast leaned over the mage, its foul stench made him nauseous. With an inhumane laugh, the demon grabbed the head of his new victim and squeezed the brains out, whilst looking directly into the mages eyes. As the mage drew his last breath, the beast suddenly spoke to the others.

"You have all failed in your effort to stop me and shall now be gracefully rewarded with horrible deaths! None shall stop my rise to power, not even Shezmu himself will be capable of stopping me! For I am the Demonic Bald Lemur God and you...You shall all become my slaves, this entire realm shall be mine! My will shall be done and none shall oppose me...EVER!!!" and as he spoke these last words, a blinding flash of unholy fire erupted underneath the last few expedition members and vaporized them.
