Setting up the colony of Demon Gate, Demonsul XII decided that the times ahead were harsh, and prepared to set up defensive positions across his land. However, almost immediately after Demon Gate became a small town, it was discovered by the scouting party Punch Bowl which was surveying the lands, as ordered by lord Soccerslurper. Demonsul sent a plea for secrecy to Lord Soccerslurper, but whether he told his servants in his kingdom The Chompers is as yet unknown. Demonsul therefore awaited his response, but none seemed coming.
However, across a river was the city of Wolf Gold. Demonsul aided the city, and in helping it continue the kingdom 'Brotherhood of the Wolf', Demonsul became one of the council.
Reveling in his new position, Demonsul expanded economically, but after a market crash, began to pour money into troop production, to aid BoW in the coming war against MAD.
It was not long before MAD shattered the BoW core. All was lost as every city but Arnuhaven was taken.
Demonsul began the fortification of Arnuhaven. It became the ultimate fortress, but still it was weak compared to the armies of MAD. Eventually it was taken, and Demonsul died. His son escaped with a few men, and managed to reach haven within BoW's new core.

After the death of his father and the fall of Arnuhaven, Demonsul XIII vowed to have vengeance on MAD. It became his obsession, everything he did, everything he thought, was based around it.
Of course it wasn't hard for him to hate MAD. They were advancing on BoW's core before he even made his first city.
