After several eras of hardship in the Erzengel Clan, Rhadamanthys had had enough. He successfully overthrew Dyrness the Necromancer and brought the Erzengels to new lands. In the land of Mogrox the Clan built in peace until a neighboring ruler attacked them out of sheer fear. For the remainder of the era the Erzengel Clan fought to reclaim its lost cities and defend it's territory from invaders near and far.

The Clan was still unhappy with Rhadamanthys as ruler. The people missed the benevolent rulers of the past. One night, overcome by a need to change the order of things, the son of Rhadamanthys visited the Dyrness family, who were hiding in the nearby caves with a clan of Trolls. Rhadamanthys' son promised to help put the Dyrness family back onto the throne as long as he would be a part of the family. The son of Dyrness the Necromancer agreed.

So Yossarian Dyrness, the son of Rhadamanthys, lead the tribe of trolls and the Dyrness family into Rhamthorpe and killed his father and took the throne as a Dyrness.
