Mr. Jonny Bacardi

Lived in Era 42, got 1 heir(s) (Jonny Bacardus The First) and was a member of Paladins of the Order of the Frozen Flame

And so, it comes to this.... To a decision that could alter the fate of my entire line.
As I sit here, on my throne, I have started to wonder. Mine are an old people, who have gone through, and lived through much. We have been the sworn protectors of the frozen flame for many, many life times now, and it has given us the strength and confidence to live, survive, and grow. And now, after many generations of living in hiding, we are back. However, as my son, Gianni, has pointed out, our name is big. But, is it right. He has scoured the most ancient texts, dating back to the days of a man we know only as "Tirading Virus". A powerful man who lived on a world many many miles away. He is the first known holder of the flame. But he was unworthy, and grew greedy. And so, on his last stand, he gave up all his power, and flame was nought. Lothon could have given up, but he found hope in a small village not far away from there, but many many years later.
It was our greatest ancestor, Jonny Bacardi, the man for who i and every first born son is named, who found the flame, god, and the true path to righteous living.
However, we have new evidence to suggest that this was not his name. That his name was in fact, Bacardus. And so, I have named my first born son Jonny Bacardus, in the hope that he will do the same for his, and that our TRUE name will live on.
Such is the legacy that I, the last Jonny Bacardi, will leave upon the world. For Lothon has spoken to me, and i know that it is right.
He has also told me that men will once again flock to our banners, and our ranks will swell in size and greatness. None should be able to stand up to the might of the flame. For Lothon is the true path to heaven.

Grand Paladin Jonny Bacardus The First

Lived in Era 44, got 1 heir(s) (Jonny Bacardus The Just) and was a member of Paladins of the Order of the Frozen Flame

And so, we went. The followers of Lothon, prospered in the lands of Mogrox, made their way to the lands of Zetamania for a fresh start.
Completely unsure of what to expect there, the new man, Jonny Bacardus, The First, and his people made their start.
The people felt right at home, settling close to their ally Sipuae Greenleaf, the follower of Midban the Wise and the new leader of that branch.
Jonny set down the standard of the Paladins near the Mountains of Rifdar, and so the city of Tyrus was born. It would soon flourish under the new rule, as those with Jonny went forth to try and spread the word of the true god Lothon, and the message of the Paladin Order that protected his earthly body, the Frozen Flame

After settling with his allies, Jonny Bacardus turned to look for ways to expand. However, dire news reached him.
First of all, his neighbor, a one Mr. Pogo, had decided to not join up with the Paladin Empire. This was not so bad, and would be dealt with. The problem however, was with No Pulse.

The Kingdom of No Pulse had decided that they were going to try and take the entire continent for themselves. Once news of this reached the ears of Jonny, he acted quickly. Sending out riders to the leaders of the other major groups of Zeta, he quickly discovered that a coalition had been formed against the No Pulse clan, and that it was led by a join effort of Knights of the Black and White, and the Hillbilly Mafia. Jonny sent word that he would most definitely join up, and that he was willing to use all available troops to help the cause.

However, shortly after joining, the unthinkable happened. Legions of the vile Pogo Pogo streamed out of the small mountain ranges to the North, and blind sided the un protected lands of Jonny's good friend and fellow Paladin Spiaeu Greenleaf. His cities were defenceless, and they quickly fell to the wrath of the barbarian hordes. Jonny ralled quickly, and began his war efforts in the training city of Myre, where many brave paladin warriors were tought how to fight with a wide array of weapons. They were equiped with the finest weapons in the area, and with the, the first small garrison, dubbed as the "Paladin Faithkeepers", marched off and won an easy victory over a larger but poorly equiped garrison gaurding the city of Greenhome.

Pogo Pogo had met his match, as wave after wave of new recruits poured out of the city of Myre, and were sent across the empire for both offensive and defensive postions. The Faithkeepers kept up their march, not staying long in Greenhome, they headed north, towards the friendly city of undefinedtwo, led by Mr. Pirate.

It was expected that, given the location of undefinedtwo, Pogo would make his next assault here. And he was. Even now, we await word from our noble heroes of the faithkeepers, anxiously hoping that they are able to stave off the invasion of the evil pogo.

The Faithkeepers kept the city of Undefined two alive, and the forces of Pgo travelled downward, taking back the unprotected city of Greenhome, and moving to Nightvale. There, they joined up with the huge army of slaves sitting in the city, and marched upon the capital, the Heart of the Empire, the Glorious city of Tyrus.

The siege has been a few days, and Pogo has just recieved reinforcements. However, we can take heart, for our men have a good chance of being victorious if they leave the city to launch an offensive strike, and we have gotten word that an army known as the Paladin Tyrantkillers is just on the horizon, marching quickly to reinforce the capital.

The odds, man to man, are over just under 4:1 in their favor, and still, they know that, if they do gamble and try to take the city, it will be an almost sure failure on their part. there is no use in trying, they camp outside mainly as a show of strength. However, when thje Tyrantkillers arive, I feel the tables will turn....

At the battle of Tyrus, the Paladin Faithkeepers, with the new Tyrantkillers on their flank, completely routed the much larger but shoddily equiped army of Uraganas. The army of Pogo pogo numbered almost 12000 men, while the Paladins numbered just 4500, and still, with the words of their leader ringing in their ear, and seeing him rush out in front of them on his magnificent battle horse, the paladins had something to fight for.
The fighting was fierce for a short while, until the barbarians realized their were out equiped and outclassed. Thats when they broke down. Their entire left flank collapsed, and the Paladin army took full advantage showing no quarter to the men who had only just recently attacked the friendly city of Greenhome, and pillaged it until their was almost nothing left.

Lothon had indeed willed this victory, and with his blessing, it looked like the tide of war was finally turning.

However, the victory was short lived. Soon after these great victories, the problems grew worse. As Sir jonny and his knights fought, others did not. There were not enough troops left, and though every paladin who died took at least ten slave warriors with him, the ten slaves were replaced, the paladin was not. Those under Bacardus fought the hardest. The faithkeepers rode out in defence of their allies and their own numerous times. Slowly, death had its toll. It was tough.

The slave armies mounted huge odds, and eventually, only a few of Jonny's strongest cities survived, every other one of his, and all the other members of the flame, had been taken.

In the following months, Jonny watched in complete dismay as his order was slowly picked apart. He could not understand what had gone wrong. In a last effort, he sent his son. A man his men had already dubbed Jonny Bacardus The Just, to a new world, with their most sacred relics. There, he was to restart his empire, and bring back the glory of Lothon

And so, on this new world, I have to wonder what the fate of my father was. Many men volunteered to join me on my trip to the new world. However, we were short on supplies, and could not take as many as I would have liked. And so, with a few men and a hand full of villagers, We set off.

We found the land plentiful, and soon, after sailing up stream for a while, came across a good place to settle. We named the city Tyrus, in honor of the land that we had come from, and the city we had called home for so long.

Soon, the few remaining lords who had been left arrived, and set up colonies around Tyrus. With the city in the middle of our lands, new Grand Paladin Jonny was quick to try and assess the situation around him. He quickly found many strategic places to put up buffer colonies and wall posts, and outposts as well, in case of another invasion. The good news was that the place looked rather uninhabitated around them, which would give them time to discover the lay of the land, and the surrounding country side as well.

After a decent start, emmisaries of the the order were sent out, and terms for an NAP were reached with the kingdom located closest to us, Domination.

The lasted for a very long time, and relations were generally good. Next, the Kingdom of Music sprouted up on our western border, and they too, agreed to terms of an NAP.

However, then came the bad news. The kingdom of FEAR, fresh off their complete domination of the the world of Zetamania, were now warring with both Domination and Music. As NAPs, we were not required to help them out, but, after much debate, it was determined, that, although we would be shielded from the fighting for a while, the war would eventually make it to our domain, and we had no guarantee that FEAR would not try to consume us as well.

And so, we launched our war mahine. We learned a lot over the next few weeks, mainly that we were not as prepared as we had initially anticipated. It was unfortunate, and many of us were wiped out on the spot. However, a few syrvived as groups, and many fled into the woods to live out the rest of their days, waiting for another chance.

Our temples plundered, our horses raped, and our goats enslaved for sex, the Paladins would bide their time, and make their entance back into the world in force. We will be stronger then before, and more prepared.

[OOC: I would like to thank Jenna Side of FEAR for all of her help to me this era. I will not forget your kindness m'lady!]

This is, in my opinion, one of the best fights I have ever been in. However, I have a rather large list of complaints that I feel have made this war stretch, because I feel as though we would have been doing very well if these things didn't happen.

--Blockers not blocking because of protection is BULL SHIT!
Thats going to have to go very soon.
--Not being able to attack cities after i've sieged it and full prepped, while there are ZERO troops. And not just not take it, have 0% chance of winning.
All because of walls, mean while, my cities with walls get taken without full prep. And one of my armies disappearing in the process.
--And then some one being able to close his gates ON TOP of my army, trapping it in the city so it can't leave, but still forcing my army to fight as though it was outside....
===============The Story============
The troops, battle weary and tired of hearing of defeats, watched with dismay as the wolven hordes poured out of the once proud city of Tarsis. As they rode towards the city of Darsus, which was the last Paladin outpost, Jonny watched and wondered how their sister city of Compton was faring. Probably even worse then he was, for he at least had thr troops and defensive structures to put up a good fight. He had personally inspected compton before, and hoped ferverently that Stix had fixed it up.
A few days later, during the first siege of Darsus, a resounding cheer went up from the northern walls. At first, some thought that the Wolflord and his men were leaving, but this was not the case.
However, Stix had marched his army out of Compton, and had confronted the much larger army of Millman, and had been victorious. The paladins watched as the wolven soldiers fled the battle field, and this gave them strength.
Before the sige, magic rained down from the skies, crushing and destroying many of the walls surrounding Darsus. Finally, just as the gods decided the cease their magic, the attack came. They came from everywhere. They fought like wild men, and their stench was horrid to say the least.
However, somehow, the paladins held. They turned the army of the wolflord away, and he was denied a victory that he thought he had in his grasp.
It was an amazing victory, one whose story would be told for years to come. Although many paladins ded that day, the losses on the other side were just as significant. It was a tough battle.
The war has finally broken. But not how we wanted. For too long, we were pushed back, to the gates of the capital, and the biggest cities that we held. But we did hold. And would have for longer yet, had Music not joined into the fighting, much to everyones dismay. Their troops, rested but and battle tested, marched in from the east without warning, and decimtaed many paladin forces, whom were already tired and weary from the years of fighting that had ravaged their home lands.
Now, only two great cities, London and Ninja Fire Sock, remain in the north. As my own people try to pick up the pieces of their former lives, I must also direct and lead a kingdom which is fighting for its very life on this world.
The fighting will grow more fierce still, and many more brave men will fall before it is all over. Yet, we have hope. We do not give in, we do not surrender. We shall fight for our lives, our freedom, and for our god.

In death, there is life.
The Inactive son of the summer bum returns to Starta to resume his rightful place.
He paces. He is restless. He is also never around.
He needs his space.
He is ready to ravage this world, and do all he can to destroy all who oppose him.
The Kingdom of Simple has already fallen to the Paladin might. After a very fierce attack by the Fire Emblem kingdom, they too or on the defensive, and running for their lives. As more join our order, we seek for more land to expand too.
The Holy Frozen Fire burns hotter than ever. It is truely a great time to be a Paladin.
The men of Fire Emblem sought refuge in the Reservoir Dogs group, but, after a stalemate that lasted nearly a year, the gate city of Byeyey was finally brought down, and although the city itself didn't fall to Paladin Legions till almost a year after, the walls crumbling gave the forces of Jonny a chance to make run for the soft mines of RD.
After that, very quickly, RD fell, as Jonny andthe rest of the Paladin armies wooped in and took everything that they could in almost record time. It was nice to be on top.
However, problems with the kingdom of The Peacekeepers sparked a brief but incredibly bloody war that saw their entire empire wiped out in a matter of weeks. As soon as the call to war went out, four armies under the Royal and Paladins banners marched upon cities, taking four within the first week of the war. The fighting was close and brutal, but the Paladin Generals, hardened by an era full of fighting, made quick and deadly decisions.
The only powers left where the Paladins and their allies, Guild of the Fallen. Jonny swore there would be no war between the two. He wished to live out the rest of his days in peace, and see his cities, and those of his friends, prosper and grow to new lengths. He was content, and ready to see his son take the thrown.
